Chapter 875
The First Heir
Chip was full of panic at the moment.
That was the only thought in Chipâs mind.
âItâs not that Iâm complaining, but you just brought me in here. We havenât even discussed this properly
but youâre already letting me go. I feel very unwanted.â
Chip was stunned at Philipâs words. He did not expect that the other party would say this, and it
seemed that he had made up his mind not to leave!
What the hell was he trying to do?!
In Moonlight Restaurantâs private room earlier, this guy was very reluctant to come with them. Now that
he was released, he was reluctant to leave. Did he have a loose screw in his head?
Guessing that Philipâs identity was special, Chip dared not talk back to him so directly.
âWhy arenât you leaving? Do you want to stay here? Youâll only get one chance. Once I change my
mind, you wonât be able to leave even if you want to. The Hane family is not as simple as you think!â
Chip was getting anxious.
âThe Hane family?â
Philip scoffed disdainfully. âDo you think Iâm concerned about the Hane family at all? When I destroyed
the martial arts hall back then, no one in the Hane family dared to do anything to me. Do you think you
or Klein can do anything to me now?â
Philip raised his hands, the broken shackles screaming sarcasm in their faces.
When Chip saw the shiny handcuffs at this moment, he only felt something blooming in his eyes.
âIâve said it before. I hope you wonât regret it. Now that you want to let me go, itâs already too late.â
Philip leaned back, folded his arms, and looked at Chip while saying nonchalantly, âIâm doing this just to
tell you that youâre nothing but ants in my eyes. Youâre nothing to fear. Thereâs only one thing I want to
know. Whoâs the mastermind behind all this?
âDonât be nervous. I know Klein is not working alone. There must be someone else.â
Philip looked at the panicking Chip and asked, âTell me who is behind this. Tell me and Iâll consider
letting you go.â
âYou⦠What do you mean by that?â
Chip suddenly realized that he was at a complete disadvantage.
The current situation was very unfavorable for him. Even though he was in his own territory now and he
had a gun in his hand, the man in front of him had no fear at all. It was Chip who was flustered instead.
âI think you should be very clear about what I mean. Since youâre doing this, you must be aware of the
consequences. Thereâs nothing to be surprised about.â
Philip stared at Chip and said, âIâm only afraid youâll follow in your brotherâs footsteps.â
Chip was so scared that he collapsed into the chair. He wanted to run out now, but his knees were
trembling so badly that he could not even stand up!
However, to Chipâs surprise, Philip did not continue to exert pressure. Instead, he sat there and
sneered, âIf you refuse to say anything, then letâs just sit here.â
Chip asked hesitantly, âYou⦠What do you want exactly? Isnât it enough to let you go?â
Philip smiled and said, âSimple. I want to lure out the person behind you. To tell you the truth, Iâm
waiting for someone now.â
âWaiting for someone?â Chip repeated subconsciously.
Philip did not answer his question but raised his eyebrows, looking at the large black glass.
He knew that the mastermind could be standing behind the glass. He wanted to give the other person a
warning. If the other person was still unrepentant, he would not mind overturning this place.
Juan was sitting in his office drinking tea at the moment. It was getting late but he had not left his office
yet.
Looking at the watch on his wrist, he estimated that things were almost done. He took out his mobile
phone and dialed a number.
âHello, Mr. Hane, this is Juan Parker.â
After introducing himself, Juan smiled and took a sip of tea.
âMr. Parker, I really appreciate your help today.â
