Chapter 868
The First Heir
Several of his nephewâs ribs were broken and his internal organs were damaged. If not for his
nephewâs good fortune, he would have died long ago!
This man dared to say he had shown mercy?
He was obviously gunning for his life!
Klein could not stand by and watch as a member of the Hane family was oppressed like this. It was
such a blatant degree of bullying at that!
The Hane family was one of the most affluent families of Capital City!
They would never tolerate such abuse from outsiders!
âYou havenât experienced his pain. Heâs now covered in bandages and has lost his previous sunny
disposition. He has become a gloomy person and itâs all caused by you! You ruined his life and his
future!â
Kleinâs words are completely exaggerated. He was setting up the stage first!
âHehe, I ruined his life?â
Philip mocked, âExcuse me, but you need to wake up to reality. A rotten person like your nephew must
have ruined countless lives. Arenât you embarrassed to talk to me about this? All the dirty things he did
are enough to kill him!â
Philip sneered, his tone full of sarcasm. âFrancis Hane and your eldest nephew, Kenneth Hane⦠In my
eyes, they got their just desserts!â
From Philipâs point of view, Francis merely broke a few ribs. It was nothing but a little punishment for
him!
âI donât care about your arguments. What you did is against the law and you must pay for your crime!â
Klein said sternly.
Philip looked at Kleinâs flushed face, the cold light in his eyes gradually condensing before he said,
âYouâre actually a good uncle, but you just canât see your nephewâs true colors. No, maybe you can see
it clearly, but itâs because you or the Hane family has become accustomed to pampering your family
members that the situation turned out this way today.â
Klein was taken aback. He could not understand why Philip would say such words.
âMr. Hane, Iâd advise you not to ruin yourself because of your nephew. If you really love your two
nephews, you should be reflecting on their shortcomings instead. Why did the heirs of your Hane family
turn out this way? Itâs not my problem at all, but the Hane familyâs problem.â
After speaking, Philip glanced at the delicious food on the table and shrugged helplessly. âWynnie, I
donât think Mr. Klein here is in the mood to continue hosting dinner tonight. Why donât I bring you
somewhere else to eat instead?â
âOkay.â
Wynn nodded and stood up decisively.
This dinner had been completely dominated by Philip. There was no need for her to speak. Otherwise,
it would disrupt Philipâs rhythm.
However, when Philip and Wynn were ready to walk out of the private room side by side, Klein sat
down with a grim face. He took a sip of red wine and said, âDid I say you can leave?â
âDo we need to ask for your permission?â
Philip shook his head and glared at Klein.
It was not that he had not given the old fox a chance, but since he did not cherish it, then he could not
be blamed for being ruthless!
âYou canât leave if I donât allow you to leave!â
Klein shed all pretenses and said grimly, âIâm here to demand an explanation today. The Hane family
has never suffered such humiliation before!â
