Chapter 3050
The First Heir
While Owen flew into a rage, a group of people in special combat uniforms stopped in front of the
building in a jeep.
Several men stepped out of the car with special medals on their shoulders. They were wearing snow
robes. They looked around with icy eyes before walking into the building.
The guard at the door wanted to stop them but stepped aside and let them through after seeing their
documents. They walked directly into the meeting room in the deepest part of the building.
âCommander Greene, the people from the Supernatural Bureau are here,â a secretary barged into the
meeting room and said.
Owen was venting his anger. Hearing the secretaryâs words, his eyes became cold, and he said with a
frown, âLet them wait outside.â
However, as soon as he said that, those people barged into the meeting room and looked around
coldly.
The man in the lead had a square jaw, a beard, a serious face, and cold eyes. He looked at Owen and
said, âCommander Greene, how are you?â
Seeing these uninvited guests, a chill flashed in the corners of Owenâs eyes, but he forced a smile and
said, âDeputy Commander Pascal, weâre having a meeting. Please wait in the hall.â
The man laughed, pulled out a chair, and sat down. He said, âItâs just nice. I can join the meeting.â
Hearing this, Owen scowled and said angrily, âDerek Pascal, whatâs the meaning of this? This is Cochly
Mountain, not your Supernatural Bureau!â
Derek smiled, crossed his arms, and said indifferently, âCommander Greene, I know that this is Cochly
Mountain, but maybe you donât know that the Imperial Preceptor has ordered the Supernatural Bureau
to officially join forces with Cochly Mountain to deal with the stargate together.â
While saying that, a subordinate behind Derek handed a document to Owen and said, âCommander
Greene, please take a lookâ¦â
Owen took the document angrily and glanced at it.
He smacked the document on the table and said angrily, âThis document is fake! I didnât receive such a
notice!â
Derek seemed to have expected that Owen would say this and said unhurriedly, âCommander Greene,
take a good look at the seal on the back of the document.â
Owen opened the last page of the document and saw a golden imperial seal. No one would ever dare
to counterfeit this seal.
Owen stared at Derek coldly and asked, âWhy do the Supernatural Bureau want to intervene in the
Cochly Mountainâs affairs?â
Derek shrugged and said, âCommander Greene, I have to disagree. We serve the country and the
Imperial Preceptor. We donât want anything else but to complete the task assigned by the Imperial
Preceptor.â
After saying that, Derek stood up, glanced at the management present, and said, âMy colleagues, I look
forward to working with all of you.â
These people looked at Derek grimly and snorted, âDeputy Commander Pascal, you think too highly of
yourself. After all, this is Cochly Mountain. Be careful that you donât suddenly die in this snow-capped
mountain range!â
âDeputy Commander Pascal, itâs too soon to call ourselves colleagues. I just hope that you wonât
interfere in the daily operations of Cochly Mountain.â
Facing everyoneâs cynicism and threats in their words, Derek did not seem surprised at all. He said,
âThank you for your reminders.â
