Chapter 2320
The First Heir
Liam understood at one glance and immediately took out his phone. He said, âDad, leave this to me. I
happen to know a group of assassins who slipped in from abroad. All of them are experts! Itâs said that
theyâre also powerful supernatural beings!â
Martin turned his head, narrowed his eyes, and said with a sneer, âSupernatural beings? Good! Very
good! No matter how much it costs, tell them to get it done!â
Since they got into contact with Boss Young, their expectations had also become higher.
They learned that this world was not the same as the one they originally came into contact with. In this
world, there were also the so-called supernatural beings. They were those superhumans who were
said to have existed long ago.
Suddenly, Liam said, âBy the way, Dad and Uncle Bernard, thereâs an antique auction tonight at Spruce
Villa. I have four invitations. Why donât we go and take a look? I heard that many big bosses and some
people from hidden families will be there too.â
Martin glanced at the golden invitation in Liamâs hand and said, âThis kind of shabby auction is just to
fool people. If youâre interested, go with Lynn. Your Uncle Bernard and I still have important things to
do. But you must arrange things on Wynnâs side first. If anything goes wrong, Iâll come after you!â
Liam smiled and said, âDad, you can rest assured.â

The antique auction was held in a high-end club called Spruce Villa next to Tundra Mountain in
Riverdale. It was far in the suburbs, near the sea and surrounded by mountains. The place had a very
beautiful enviromnent.
After Philip changed his clothes, he took a taxi to Spruce Villa and saw many luxury cars parked on the
square.
âThere seem to be many rich people here tonight,â he thought inwardly.
After he mentioned Yanaâs name to the door attendant, the usher respectfully invited him in.
The decoration inside Spruce Villa was very luxurious. The hall was brightly lit and as far as the eye
could see, the place was full of well-dressed figures in high society. Many rich kids the same age as
Philip also formed small circles and mingled excitedly.
People like Philip who came in wearing casual clothes attracted the attention of many people.
The prelude to the antique auction was a buffet. As Philip did not have dinner yet, he went to the buffet
area and took a plate. He ate while watching the crowd around him.
As he was quietly filling his stomach, a voice of surprise suddenly came from beside him. âPhilip
Clarke?â
Such a soft voice made people tingle all over. Philip turned to look at Vivi Joo, who was full of surprise.
HIe could not help but laugh. âHey, Miss Joo. Why do you have time to visit our little town? Did you fight
with my cousin?â
Seeing Philip, Vivi could not help but blush slightly. She rolled her eyes at him and said coquettishly,
âWill you die if you donât mention him? Iâve never seen such a straightforward man!â
Philip chuckled and said nothing.
Vivi blinked her big curious eyes and stared at Philip. She stepped forward, took Philipâs arm, and
asked with a smile, âPhilip, you still owe me a favor. Why donât you talk to your second uncle and
cancel the marriage between me and Ethan?â
Philip shrugged, pulled his arm away from Viviâs soft embrace, and said, âIâm sorry, Miss Joo. I canât
help you with this matter. I think you and Ethan are a good match.â
Hearing that, Vivi pouted, put her arms across her chest, glared viciously at Philip, and said, âAre you
doing this on purpose? Youâre simply poking at my sore spot! Iâm telling you, Philip, Iâll marry no one
else but you! Iâve already fallen for you! I donât care about that nerd Ethan Clarke!â
Pfft!
Philip almost choked on the cake he was eating upon hearing Viviâs words.
Was she trying to cheat on Ethan with him?
