Chapter 2295
The First Heir
Old Cain glanced at Juan in surprise and asked suspiciously, âYouâre a famous boss and have many
people imder you. Why do you need me to do such a simple thing?â
âNo, that kid isnât simple. If I could deal with it, why would I be asking an infamous gangster like you to
take action?â
Juan was full of bitterness. The setbacks he suffered at Philipâs hands were not something he could
mention. It would make his reputation fall. Moreover, Philip and Wynn had disappeared for such a long
time with no clues of their whereabouts.
He just recently received news from his subordinates that Philip and Wynn had returned to First
Palace.
Old Cain nodded slightly, having guessed that Juan must have suffered a great loss in Philipâs hands.
However, Old Cain was confident in his skills. He looked down upon those minions under Juan. He
guessed that Philip knew some skills and could deal with one or two dozen men at most.
âIn that case, what about the price?â Old Cain asked smilingly.
âFive million. If you can get the money from the Johnston family, then itâ s all yours.â
Juan stretched out five fingers.
Just to kidnap two people, five million was not a low price.
âItâs too little.â Old Cain smiled as he exhaled smoke rings.
âYou name the price, then,â Juan frowned and said.
âTen million, not a dime less,â Old Cain said.
Juan did not hesitate and said decisively, âDeal, but you must be quick.â
âDonât worry. Before the sun sets tomorrow, Iâll definitely hand him over to you. Itâ s not a difficult task.
Itâs not like you donât know the big things weâve done.â
Juan nodded. He recalled the series of robberies that Old Cain and his gang had pulled off. A bright
smile gradually appeared on his face.
âIâll wait for your good news, then. The deposit will be credited to your account immediately.â

The sun rose, and the golden-red rays reflected the clouds in the sky. The sight filled peopleâs hearts
with hope.
Wynn drove to work. When she arrived at the downstairs of the company, she was shocked to see that
the companyâs tempered glass door had been smashed to pieces.
Something had happened!
This was Wynnâs first thought.
Without thinking about it, Wynn quickly got out of the car and rushed into the company.
The company was in a mess with traces of things being smashed everywhere. Wynnâs heart went cold
as she realized that something big must have happened. Otherwise, the company would not have been
destroyed into such a state. The person who did it must be vicious.
Taking out her mobile phone, Wynn was about to call the police when she heard footsteps behind her.
Turning her head in a panic, Wynn saw Old Cain.
Old Cain grinned, and the centipede-like scar on his face wiggled as if it had come to life.
âHey pretty, you must be Wynn Johnston. Iâve been waiting for you for a long time.â
âW-Who are you? Why did you wreck our company?â Wynn stepped back while speaking. Her hand
that was holding the phone was shaking. She wanted to press the phone number but her trembling
fingers refused to cooperate.
âDonât struggle. If you behave, you can suffer less. Otherwise, I wonât have mercy on you even if youâre
a woman.â
Old Cain walked up to Wynn and grabbed the back of her collar, lifting her easily.
Wynn struggled in terror, while Old Cain waved his big hand in front of her.
âIf you donât behave, Iâll slap your face.â
Seeing the palm full of calluses, Wynn dared not struggle anymore.
Old Cain carried Wynn to the conference room, where the tables and chairs had been pushed to the
corners. The large room was full of the companyâs top executives squatting around.
Wynn swept her gaze around and saw Martin, Bernard, and Liam. They were all squatting in the crowd
with their heads in their hands and trembling.
