Chapter 2001
The First Heir
Philip sneered inwardly. He did not want to go after the law enforcement hall so soon, but he could not
stop the other party from showing up on his doorstep.
When Wilfred saw the convoy, his eyes lit up with hope as he shouted, âSixth Enforcer, save me
quickly! Look at the beating Philip has given me! He even took down the chieftainâs guards!â
As Wilfredâs roar spread throughout the small square, the convoy stopped. The door of the Rolls-Royce
at the forefront opened and out stepped a small but energetic old man with his hands behind his back.
The old man wore a gray suit and seemed to be in his 70s. He was older than Wilfred. However, after
the old man stepped out, his dormant aura was much stronger than Wilfredâs!
With a headful of gray and his hands behind his back, he walked up to Wilfred. He glared at Wilfred
coldly and reprimanded, âUseless fool, embarrassing the branch family here! I didnât raise you for so
many years for you to disgrace yourself!â
Following his reprimand, Wilfred meekly lowered his head, not daring to refute at all.
The sixth enforcer in front of him was his uncle. He was a generation older than him. He was one of the
very few older generations of the Clarke family who were still around now.
The sixth enforcer turned his head, his eyes sweeping across the Wolf Guards who were being
pressed on the ground as well as the one who had been killed on one side. A trace of stem grimness
flashed in his eyes.
After that, he walked up to Philip, his height reaching Philipâs shoulders. Due to his hunched back, he
looked somewhat aged.
âWhat, am I not worthy of your greeting even though Iâm standing here?â
The sixth enforcer said coldly with a subtle smirk Philip frowned and was silent for a few seconds
before saying, âSixth Great-granduncle.â
That was right, the old man in front was Philipâs sixth great-granduncle. He was also Roger Clarkeâs
sixth granduncle. He was a person with high seniority in the Clarke family.
He was rarely seen throughout the year. Such an old guy should be enjoying his retirement in his
manor. However, he was out and about today. Moreover, he was a little forceful.
The old man nodded before his gaze fell on the two madams and Wynn behind Philip. He smiled and
said, âThe two madams are also here.â
Hazel and Nadia both gave small smiles and greeted, âSixth Granduncle.â
The old man nodded with a smile before his gaze fell on Wynn. He asked, âAre you Philipâs wife?â
Wynn was very nervous at the moment. She looked at the two mothers and then at Philip before she
nodded while saying, âY-Yes. â
Then, the old man nodded and said coldly, âThe people of the branch family want to bring you there for
a visit and to meet the elders. Why donât you come along with me?â
There was no room for doubt or resistance. This was the attitude and will of the sixth enforcer. Very
clear!
As soon as he said that, the two elite guards of the law enforcement hall behind the sixth enforcer
stepped forward and made an inviting gesture, ready to bring her away.
âMiss Johnston, please get in the car,â the leading guard stretched out his hand and said.
