Chapter 1961
The First Heir
All the civilian onlookers were shocked at this scene. Everyone wondered who tlrese people were
escorting. They looked like Jedi Knights as they were full of chills.
Tire convoy slowly drove forward. All the black Mercedes vehicles parked by the roadside also followed
the convoy closely, flashing double headlights the entire way.
At the forefront, Philip who was sitting inside the golden dragon Rolls-Royce asked indifferently, âDid
you bring Connor Clarke and the rest along?â
George Thomas, who was sitting in the co-passenger seat, immediately turned his head with a
respectful look on his face and said, âYes, theyâre in the backâ
Philip nodded and looked out the window at the view.
The street was full of people taking pictures with their phones.
Meanwhile, Connor, Allen, and Levi were locked inside a black Mercedes that looked like a giant box at
the back of the convoy. Levi leaned back on the seat, his head still wrapped in bandages. His face
looked a little haggard.
Connor leaned on his cane with be th hands, his face slightly cold as he looked through the car
window.
âDamn it!â
The main family actually made such a big commotion just to welcome this future heir?
Even the Shadow Squadron had been dispatched. What exactly was Roger Clarke planning?
âConnor, what should we do now? If this continues, wonât Philip make it back to the island safely?â
Allen sat on Connorâs side and looked out of the window before he turned his head and asked with an
anxious face.
Connorâs cold eyes were like cold pools, and his face was full of hidden killing intent. He said, âWe
have no other way. The Shadow Guards have been dispatched and itâll be impossible for Gareth to find
an opportunity to make a move. Find an opportunity to inform the people weâve arranged. Tell them to
get ready to make a move on Philip at the Arcadia Island customs or at sea! No matter what it takes, no
matter the cost or means, we must stop him before he arrives on the island!â
Allen nodded, and his expression tensed. He quickly took out a phone that had been hidden for a long
time from his waist and dialed a number. He commanded coldly, âPass my order down immediately.
Philip Clarke has set off for the island. No matter the cost, he must be stopped at sea!â
Then, Allen hung up the phone and glanced at Levi who looked miserable on the side.
He was the hope of the entire branch family but he was repeatedly humiliated and beaten up by Philip.
Levi heard the conversation between Connor and Allen. He sat up with difficulty. With a face full of pain
and resentment, he said, âGrandpa, we must kill him! If we let him go back, everything will be over for
us!â
Connor glanced at his clear grandson and said with a nod, âDonât worry, Iâve made arrangements. The
Clarke family will definitely belong to our branch family in the future! Philip is not worthy to lead the
Clarke family to greater glory!â
The three exchanged a glance and nodded without another word.
Back in the RV, Martha was walking back and forth in the compartment excitedly. Her eyes darted
around the RV sneakily, staring at the inlaid diamonds. She reached out to touch them with a face full
of envy while saying, âWynnie, these are real diamonds. Oh my, is Philipâs family really that rich?â
Wynn leaned on the bed, glanced at her mother, and shook her head helplessly while saying, âMom,
just be quiet for a while.â
Martha turned around and walked to Wynnâs bed with a smile on her face. She sat down, took Wynnâs
cold hand, and said, âWynnie, youâre really my good daughter. When you chose Philip back then, itâs a
good thing that I didnât object. Iâve long noticed that Philip isnât an ordinary person. Sure enough, heâs
been concealing his identity the entire time. He didnât even tell us that his family is so rich.â
When Wynn heard Marthaâs words, she asked, âHavenât you been opposed to us all these years?â
Martha blushed slightly and felt a little embarrassed, but it was her daughter, after all. There was no
problem. Thus, she quickly smiled cordially and said, âThatâs all in the past. Thereâs no need to mention
it.â
With that said, Martha held Wynnâs small hand tightly and said, âWynnie, listen to me. Philip is so rich,
didnât he reveal a tiny bit to you before?â
