Chapter 1893
The First Heir
Everyone heard her shout.
Ethan was the first to laugh out loud. Mandy glared angrily before turning around and leaving the place
on her high heels.
Philip glanced at Mandy as she left, and the smile on his face slowly turned grim.
âBrother, what are your plans for the next step?â Ethan walked over, putting away his cynical attitude.
âLook into the people behind her. Griffin Pavilion of the Nonagon, well done. Iâll remember you,â Philip
sneered.
Ethan nodded and responded, âNo problem. Count on me.â
Philip nodded and turned to Garth. He bowed slightly and said with a smile, âGrand Commander
Santos, Iâm sorry to have troubled you.â
Garth was flattered and quickly said with a bow, âMr. Clarke, youâre too kind. Had Supreme Williams not
contacted me personally, I wouldnât have known that these fools under my command had actually
arrested you.â
Philip frowned and asked, âTeacher?â
Garth nodded and said with a smile, âYes, Supreme Williams contacted me personally. It can be seen
that he holds you in high regard.â
Philip nodded and chatted with him for a while longer before Garth sent a chartered helicopter to escort
Philip back to Uppercreek.
On the helicopter, Philip turned sideways to look at Ethan who was sleeping with his legs crossed. He
was leaning back on the seat and said, âDonât you plan to go back?â
Ethan grumbled, âNo way. Southridge is not meant as a place for human residence. Itâs too tiring. The
colorful world outside is more carefree and relaxing.â
Philip shook his head helplessly and laughed while saying, âArenât you afraid that the teacher will bring
you back personally?â
Hearing that, Ethan acted like a mouse that had seen a cat. He quickly sat up straight and said to Philip
with a flattering expression, âBrother, you have to help me this time no matter what. I really donât want
to go back. Just let me have fun with you for a few days.â
Philip was helpless. Even after so many years of training, his cousin was still so playful.
âOkay, but we have to make a deal. When we get to Uppercreek, you canât expose your identity,
especially to your sister-in-law. Do you understand?â Philip said.
Ethan understood instantly. He made an okay gesture and said, âI know, Brother. Donâ t worry, Iâll
definitely keep it a secret. I absolutely wonât reveal your identity to my sister-in-law. A wolf in sheepâs
clothing, right? I understand.â
Philip was startled.â A wolf in sheepâs clothing?â
Only Ethan could think of that. Then, Philip suddenly asked, âBy the way, Uncle Tim is looking for you
all over the world. Arenât you going to contact him?â
Ethan pursed his mouth, leaned back again, and said, âLet him take his time in finding me. It can save
me the hassle of meeting Vivi Joo.â
Philip was hesitant to speak up. After thinking about it, he only nodded helplessly.
After almost half an hour, they returned to Uppercreek. Since it was a combat specific Apache
helicopter, it naturally could not land in the city. They could only disembark on a landing pad stationed
somewhere in the suburbs. After that, a jeep was sent to bring Philip and Ethan back to the downtown
area of Uppercreek.
As soon as they arrived at the hotel lobby, they found that the entrance was filled with Victor Bellâs men.
