Chapter 1678

The woman was rather delicate-looking. She was holding the arm of the man next to her. He was quite

good-looking and dressed expensively. He must be rich. Philip and Wynn turned around to look and

their faces immediately darkened.

This woman was no stranger to Philip and Wynn.

She was once Philip’s suitor in university, and she deliberately went against Wynn in every aspect

simply because Philip rejected her. Just like that, hatred was born from love.

Her name was Clara Nolan, and she was an arrogant woman who thought that everyone was beneath

her. Clara was just passing by when she saw Philip and Wynn. She did not expect to run into them

here after not seeing each other for so many years!

When she saw Philip looking at Wynn so tenderly, the hatred from the past welled up after being sealed

fiery temper and could not tolerate any disadvantage. When she heard Clara’s words, she immediately

flew into a rage!

“What are you talking about? Who said we can’t afford the clothes here?” Joy glared and said.

Clara chuckled, gave Wynn a sideways glance, and said, “Birds of a feather flock together. Since

you’re here with Wynn, you must be poor too. What’s there to brag about?”

“You!” Joy was about to get angry when Wynn pulled her back.

“Forget it, we’re out to shop today. Let her say what she wants. Don’t argue with her,” Wynn said with a

hint of coldness.

She felt jealous at the thought that Clara had once pursued Philip.

Women were all like that.

“Wynn Johnston, what is that attitude of yours?!” Clara rolled her eyes and became very angry.

How dare Wynn talk to her like this?!

“You‘ re just a little b*tch. When you were in university, I could already tell you were no good. You must

have slept with a lot of men. Whose seed is that in your belly? Did you get Philip to provide for another

man’s son?” Clara spat out spitefully.

Philip could not listen to this anymore and retorted coldly, “Clara Nolan, that’s enough! You can’t spout

nonsense like that at will!”

When Clara looked at Philip, her mouth opened in surprise before she said incredulously, “Oh, Philip, I

didn’t expect that you’d become like this. You weren’t like this before. Have you been defeated by

reality? How dare you marry a woman like Wynn? Oh, that’s not right, I heard you married into her

family instead. Tsk, tsk…”

Clara no longer had any feelings for Philip as her love had turned into hatred. She just wanted to

humiliate them and seek revenge!

Wynn glared at Clara without speaking, took a garment, and held it in front of her to look at it.

Philip’s face was also slightly cold, but Clara was all an old classmate, after all. He did not want to
