Chapter 87 Hallucination

"I don't know how she came to that hospital where I met Sana" Sharon spoke in the call with tears in her eyes. She doesn't want anyone to find out this secret about her.

"Why didn't you tell me before that you are involved in Sana's matter?" Elena roared in the call. They planned perfectly before trapping Clara. But if Clara gets to win this round by exposing Sharon, it would be difficult to trap her.

"It was not a big deal. But I didn't know that she would discover me" Sharon trembled and was hoping that Elena would help her for sure.

"Wait. I should think about something." Elena took a deep breath and the words she spoke made Sharon shocked.

"Mom, please open the door" Edward was pleading with Sharon for half an hour.

"You must be mistaken, dear" Grace tried to calm down Clara but she was too vulnerable to even think anything. The fact that Sharon, whom Alex respects like his own mom has done such a thing made her hate everything in this world. She felt the same rage when she was betrayed by her father.

"Grandma, trust me. If I was not sure even for a single percent, I would never blame such a thing." Clara's words made Alex more paranoid. She can't be so sure. Can she?

"Enough is enough." Alex yelled at Clara, startling everyone. Alex looked at Clara as he marched towards her with his sharp gaze.

"I don't want to hear anything against her now. Stop it, Clara." Alex grabbed her shoulders in anger.

"If I am silent, it is to give little respect to our relationship. But I can't let you demean my aunt anymore. Stop your nonsense and get back to your room right now" Alex yelled at her in a high-pitched tone. Clara was not at all dazed as if she knew his reaction already. She is aware of the extent of Alex's respect and love for Sharon. She is even ready to face more humiliation because of this. But she is determined to unveil the truth. She wanted to unite Sandy and Alex at any cost.

"Do you even know that Sana's mom is alive?" Clara's words made Alex loosened his grip. Clara removed his grip and showed some pictures to him.

"It's Gazel D'cruz. Mother of Sana D'cruz. I don't know why she hid about her mom's identity. But your aunt knew about it and even went to see her" Clara screamed loud enough for Sharon to shiver with the intensity of the threat.

Before Clara could say anything more someone grabbed her and slapped her hard on her cheeks.

"Why did you do that?" Elena was the one who slapped Clara. She yelled at Clara with teary eyes. Now what's the new drama?

"What happened?" Frank and Grace asked her instantly as they tried to get Elena away from Clara's side who was too shocked to register anything in her mind.

"Doctor asked us to give some water filled vegetables to Alina. We didn't inform Edward or you. As we thought you guys will be worried for no reason. But Clara asked Alina to not eat anything from our home. She always restricted her to eat our handmade food" Elena spoke in one go as Clara froze to the spot. Is that why they always send Alina watery puddings?

"Is she fine? Where is Alina?" Clara asked instantly with a panicked face.

"Thank God that we admitted her at the right time. She is safe and her baby too" The moment Elena told the news; Edward came running to her side to check about Alina.

"I am sorry but we won't leave Alina here if Clara lives here" Elena's words made everyone freeze. What does it mean?

"Clara is our kid and I would never say this but now when it comes to Alina and her safety, I should reveal this myself" Elena said with a trembling voice.

"She is suffering from mental illness and it's in the first stage only but the consequences are too bad as you all can see" Clara couldn't get out from the shock of the words. The exact words which she tried to frame her mom at a certain point. The exact scenario made Clara shredder in fear. Her mom was locked up in a room once they got a clear view of her illness. Clara couldn't prove that her mom was fit and fine back then. Is history repeating?

"That's what I was trying to tell you since her birthday party. Remember I told you all that she is a problem to our family" Sharon yelled at everyone as she came out of her room in her messed up hair.

"She was taking treatment from a psychiatrist. I have seen her many times in that hospital" Sharon replied as she walked towards Clara who was too shocked to even react to anything. Is this all their planning to turn the tables against her? But Clara took Sharon and Sana's picture back there in the hospital where Sana was crying and begging.

"Before you accuse me again in front of all, I want to tell you all something" Sharon spoke as she looked at Elena to give an assurance.

Flashback back in the room in the call.

"Just tell them the truth with an emotional touch" Elena suggested while Sharon is too shocked. If she said what happened, they would not leave Sharon at all. They will even hate her with all their means.

Sharon knew that it was the perfect timing to trap Clara in this web which she created for herself.

"I knew about Sana's mom and even knew about the reason why Sana didn't disclose them" Sharon said to them and Alex was not at all in his right state of mind now. It was too much to bear.

"Her mom was a bar dancer and I didn't like Sana to come into our home back then. So" Sharon paused to think of something to polish her words.

"Trust me, Alex. I was worried for you. So, I offered her some money to see if she backs off from the marriage or not." Sharon explained what was going between Sana and her while Alex fisted his hands. There was someone in his family to break Sana and him and he has no clue about it.

"But when she denied them, I didn't try anything thinking that she is the right girl for you" Sharon explained the half-truth. She constantly tried to threaten Sana with her mom's identity and asked her to stay away from Alex as she doesn't want Alex to marry and settled down. It can become easy for him to lead the empire.

"Today I went to meet her to ask why she did this with you and I fought with her," Sharon explained, but in reality, she went to see if Sana exposes her side of the story or

not.

"But trust me. I don't have any hand behind your and Sandy's separation" Sharon broke down completely on the floor and that was the only thing she said was true among all. She has no idea about anything.

"I heard you telling her not to even think of exposing you in front of Alex" Clara snapped at Sharon showing how much she knew already. Sharon closed her eyes thinking about what will happen if they believe Clara?

"Her mental illness includes hallucinations too." Elena spoke in a pitiful voice as Clara gasped at the level of acting this old lady is doing. Clara's hands trembled slightly. Slowly all the tables point at her side and she has no proof to deny them.

"I don't have such an illness so stop framing me" Clara screamed out of her lungs and Alex closed his eyes in frustration. What the hell is happening in his family? "Alex. I don't know if her words have much more importance in your life or not. I said what is the truth? Rest is your choice. I can leave the home if you all think that I am the one framed Sandy that day" Sharon sat there all exhausted. Alex looked at Clara with a sharp gaze to stop this drama. But Clara has no point of turning back now. Not at least before exposing Sharon and Elena.

"Alex, trust me. Everything was set up to separate you from Sandy" Clara tried to tell every point where she felt this but Alex shrugged off her hands instantly, startling her.

"I made a mistake back then to not believe my loved ones. I will never do that again. My aunt can never do this. So please stop this drama here. I won't even ask you anything else" Alex pleaded Clara and she was shocked to see the level of change in him. He was broken beyond imagination to betray his buddy back then. That's why he lost his power of thinking.

"Relax dear. Let's talk later. Now come with me" Grace tries to get Clara inside while Elena pulled Clara again "I guess you didn't hear me properly. If Clara is here, I will not leave Alina" Elena's words were loud and clear. But no one seemed to believe Elena's words. Clara being mentally not stable? That must be a joke.

"How about I call someone to prove that she is mentally not stable?" Elena asked and that's when Clara realized that it's not a small thing that Elena started this dirty session. She had a foolproof plan. What does she have now under her sleeves?

Elena looked at the entrance and Clara was shocked to see the person there. A strong electric shock she could feel inside her head and she wanted to strangle Elena now then and there.
