Kalli's POV

I ran after Zicko so that I could figure out what his problem was. I wanted so badly for him to look at me like the others did with the ones they liked. I wanted to know why he ran away. I find him sitting under a tree. He was breathing heavily and rocking back and forth. I came up to him and slowly sat down a few inches from him. I sat quietly until I heard him mutter something.

"What did you say?"I asked.

He looked up at me and his eyes were glowing.

"I said to get away from me. You shouldn't see me in this state."

He started to get up but I wasn't letting him get away from me that easily. I pulled him back down but he was much stronger than he looked. He frowned at me and walked further into the forest. Why does he make me feel so rejected. My chest hurt and he walked back to me.

"For the love of god." he says.

He yanks me up and crushes me to his body while he brings our lips together. I am so stunned that I don't respond. What made him do this. He growled and pushed on my lips harder clearly wanting me to react to him. I moved my lips and he moved his hand to cradle my neck. He hugged me tighter to him and his kiss got lighter before he drew away completely. I blushed and looked down at my feet. He chuckled and lifted my chin up.

"I do like you it's just hard for me to socialize around new people. When we are alone I can be myself with you. Promise me you will come to me when you feel insecure about me. I will eventually get used to your friends but I need to go slowly. Are you ok with that?" He looked concerned.

"I'm just happy to know that you like me. When you ran away earlier I was sure that you didn't like me at all."

He smiled and hugged me. I felt loved and I knew that I could come to him for anything.

Zicko's POV

I never thought she would see my dragon this early but she had and I was so close to shifting. I had to get calm but talking with Kalli just increased my dragon's need to be free. He wanted me  to make her feel better and reassure her. As I left I felt her pain. My instincts overwhelmed me and I went back to her. Needless to say I love her more than life itself but my disorder keeps me from her. In time I know she will be closer but right now only my dragon could get me close to her.

It was four hours later before I was under control. I went back to Kalli and found her asleep. I picked her up and walked back to the stream. I have no idea where she lives. Should I wake her? What do I do? I heard someone come up behind me.

"How are you. Did you have an eventful night?" I asked Jupei.

"Yes. I got a kiss. What are you going to do about Kalli?" He replies.

"To be honest I have no idea. She never got to tell me or show me where she lived."

"Why don't you just take her to your house tonight. It's not like you will do anything and I'm pretty sure she will be fine with it."

I think about it and decide to take her to her friends house. Since Jupei came from one of her friend's houses he can lead me there and I can drop her off. I know she would freak out if I took her to my house. I didn't really want to leave her but I knew she would be better off at her friends house.

"Can we take her to Mattea's house? She will be better off there than with me." I ask.

"Ya, sure. I'll lead the way." Jupei says.

We walk for about five minutes and arrive at Mattea's house. She has a bedroom on the first floor so we tap lightly on her window. We hear rustling and she opens her window.

"Hello Jupei. What are you doing with Kalli, Zicko?" she asks.

"She fell asleep can you let her stay here. I don't know where she lives otherwise I would have taken her home." I say.

She nods and comes to open the front door. She walks us to her room and she motions for me to put her on the bed.

"Where will you sleep?" Jupei asks.

"I have a spare mattress under my bed. I can sleep on that. Thank you for bringing her here Zicko."

I nod and start to leave. Jupei follows me and we walk out the door.

"What now?" he asks.

"Lets find the rest and hangout at our nest." I reply.

He smiles at that and dashes forward. I'm right behind him and we are laughing when we finally get to the stream and see the other guys. They look at us and they have smiles on their faces. We decide to shift and fly back to the nest. It feels so great to fly again. And we don't have to worry about humans seeing our true forms because our forms are invisible to their eyes. Only paranormal's and our mates can see us. As we flew back I felt the need to turn around, like I was leaving my life behind. This bond that I have with Kalli is getting a lot stronger and it scares me because I am unsure about how to be around her. What do I do? What do I say? These questions are constantly running through my mind. We reach the nest quickly and we shift back. Our nest is huge. IT is not like most houses. Ours sits in a tree and is easily 18 feet off the ground. The inside is fully furbished and we each have our own room.

"What did you want to talk about?" asks Finax.

"Why don't we share about what everyone did tonight. What it was like to meet our heart mates." queries Amkay.

We all agree and since it was Amkay's idea he got to pick who shared first.

"How about you Zicko?" asks Amkay.
