Dragon mates

Mattea's POV

Where is everyone going? I felt a tug and looked behind me.

"The others are starting to go home do you want to leave as well?" Jupei asked.

I nodded and started to get out of the stream. Jupei was already out and held out my towel for me. I thanked him and began to dry off. I was having trouble reaching parts of my back and Jupei must have seen because he took the towel from me and dried me off. When he was done he wrapped the towel around my shoulders and his fingers made contact with my skin. My heart beat increased and I took a sharp breath. His tough was molten and I couldn't help but like it.

"Can I walk you home?" He asked.

I nodded not trusting my voice to be level yet. He smiled and took my hand. The same thing happened and he looked at me.

"Are you ok?" He asks.

"Yes." I say

My voice was shaky and he noticed. He turned and started walking. I told him where to turn but otherwise we were silent. I trailed behind him and saw his strong back as he walked. I admired him and wanted to know him better. I tugged his hand and he stopped and turned to him.

"Do you want to hang out tomorrow?" I ask.

He smiles devilishly and I feel vulnerable to his charm. Where is my courage coming from? He still hasn't said anything but he is stepping closer. We are inches apart and I feel the heat coming off of him. He leans down and whispers in my ear.

"I couldn't stay away even if I tried." He says.

I feel elated and want to jump up and down but manage to control myself. He starts walking again. We are two feet from my house and I already miss him. How am I so attached to him when we just met? He brings me to my front door and I feel the dread start in my stomach.

Jupei's POV

She is the most beautiful girl I have ever met. She gives me a feeling of hope. Even though I know we are heart mates she doesn't so I am trying not to go to fast. My heart is slowly breaking at the thought of leaving her for even one second. Our bond has become strong despite the fact that we do not know each other well yet. I sigh at the fact that our time together is over. I promised to see her tomorrow and she looked happy about that. Her smile is infectious. I lean down a little and notice her breath faster. She suddenly meshes her lips to mine and takes control. I was ok with that but I picked her up in my arms and spun us around. She broke off the kiss to laugh at our combined joy. No one is more perfect then her.
