So I realize I haven't been fair with the other characters but they will soon be acknowledged. I was trying to slowly build on the individual guy group and then give more background on them. I promise I will soon get back to the others.

Maddie's POV

All of my muscles clamp down in pain. I reach a hand out, not really expecting anyone to grab it or help. But I feel arms come under me and lift. Since my eyes are closed I have no idea where we are going but trust Enway to keep me safe. If you're wondering how I know it's Enway if my eyes are closed than good question. Only when Enway is around do I feel my heart settle and a radiating warmth surround me. Does that sound corny?

"The pain will pass. But just tell me right now if you will be my mate, otherwise I need to be locked away so as not to hurt or endanger my people."

His voice is strained as if he is resting the notion of me rejecting him. Like I could anyways. I open my eyes to see the tension defined in his eyes and muscles. I reach out a shaky hand and place it on his face.

"I will always remain by your side. It only stands to reason that we become mates so that you are always mine and I will always be yours."

A small tear slips down his face and I smile.

Enway's POV

I have waited a very long time to hear those words. I only get one mate and chances are even slimer of finding said mate. The emotion sweeping through me at what she says just strikes my soul and I can't help but tear up. I would sacrifice everything in order to keep her happy. Nothing could take her away now that we will soon be mates.

Narrator

Enway walks to the bed and lays Maddie down. He precedes to the door and locks it. Turning back around he says,

"I will love you forever, and you make me so happy that I will strive everyday to return what you have given me by agreeing to be my mate."

As the couple express their love for each other, Enway marks Maddie on her shoulder completing the mating bond. The next part of their relationship unknown and new.

Meanwhile, Kalli and Zicko are separated by Enway's clan. For some reason , they do not allow a visiting alpha to claim their mate on their sacred ground.

So I kept this chapter short so that I could update quicker. Just a little explination in case you are confused. The guys' clans only allow the a mating on their land if they are apart of the clan. It is part of a sacred ritual in which they honor the ancestors and keep their clans pure to the clans people. In other words, if you are a member your mate can be claimed there. If not it is considered a high offense. So each guy will claim their mate in their home village. This also sets up for the Alpha ceremonies which will be coming up next for Enway and Maddie.

Hope you liked the small chapter but this way I can write more and keep all of you happy. After Enway and Zicko I will go onto Amkay and Morgan. I feel line I have neglected them and Jupei and Finax. They need their story told as well.
