Dragon mates
Maddie POV
What's wrong with Zicko? I feel bad for him but it's not like we were being mean to him when we laughed at him. I feel a hand grab my arm.
"Lets keep going he will be a while anyway." says Enway.
I smile at him and look at our next competitor. Lina and Finax are smiling and look like they are up for the challenge. Enway gets my attention by lifting me up so I can get on his shoulders. Lina gets help from Mattea and is seated safely on Finax's shoulders. Mattea yells out go and me and Lina fight each other. Enway is laughing at our intensity and I get the upper hand on Lina and knock her off of Finax's shoulders. She comes up laughing and Enway slowly brings me back down into the water. The situation seems a little too intimate so I quickly step away from him. Enway shouts for the next contender and I see Mattea up on Jupei's shoulders. I quickly get on Enway's shoulders and we fought. Mattea gives a good push and I fall back into Enway's arms.
"Careful now. I don't want you to hurt yourself." He says sweetly.
I blush and ask him to put me down. Mattea goes on to fight Morgan who over powers her and wins the competition. We are all having fun but I look to find Kalli and see that she isn't here anymore. Where did she run off to?
Enway's POV
I see Maddie looking for her friend Kalli. I knew she was looking for Zicko. One thing that they don't understand about Zicko is that he grew up with no one and nothing so he has never felt love or friendship the way we have. He avoided us for two years before he slowly started to open up to us. I didn't want Kalli to have to wait that long but it looks like she may have to. Zicko is my best friend but he can be frustrating sometimes when you meet new people. I know that Maddie will never have to worry about that because I already love her unconditionally. I just didn't know how to tell her about me yet.
"Hey Maddie are you going to dive with us?" asked Mattea.
She nodded and walked over to them. I watched her dive a couple times before she turned to look at me and motioned me over. I swam up and did a back flip into the water. After we all did five of our best dives we voted that Finax was the best and had great showmanship. Today was really fun and I wanted to have more days with everyone together.
"Are you guys willing to hangout again tomorrow?" asks Maddie.
All of the guys look at each other and nod yes. Tomorrow will certainly be even better, since I plan on learning more about my mate and her friends. Plus she needs to know more about me so she can fall in love with me faster.
