Morgan's POV

Do you ever feel like your friends knew something you didn't. I look at Mattea and see her and Jupei staring at each other in longing. The boys are taking us somewhere for a group date. We all agreed to go to their secret location in the forest and were all excited to see the destination. I look at Amkay but his attention is focused in front of him and I have the chance to observe him. He looks stronger somehow and I see that his hair has grown a little, because some strands hang in his face. What am I going to do when I have to leave in a couple weeks.

Flashback

My mom has just told me that I am going to a camp for girls in a couple of weeks. My heart sinks thinking about my friends that I will miss them even though it's only for a week. I also think what Amkay will say when I tell him tomorrow.

End of Flashback

We reach what looks like a tree house on steroids and the guys turn to us.

"Welcome to our house. We decided to bring you here since we can all comfortably talk and have fun together. We have a game room, swimming pool, many bedrooms, a large kitchen and common area, and something that will be a surprise for some of you." Amkay says.

He looks at me and smiles. I know he is holding something back but maybe that is part of the surprise. He turns around and leads everyone into the house. Now when I say lead it really means entering a secret code camouflaged into the trunk of the tree and climbing a wooden staircase to the top of this ginormous tree. Ugh! Someone please carry me. I look at Kalli and she has a look of pain on her face. Zicko sees it and kneels down in front of her, motioning for her to get on his back.

"I can't I'll be too heavy with all of these stairs."

He just shrugs like it's no big deal. Why can't Amkay do that for me? I inwardly groan and deal with it. Kalli laughs as she gets on Zicko's back and is carried up the stairs. 50 stairs later and I am crawling on the ground. The other girls were being carried as well and here I am with labored breath and ready to die. Kalli comes over and gives me a hand up.

"Don't worry I'm sure he just has things on his mind that he didn't see you. Do you want to be with me and Mattea?"

"No its OK. I don't want to impose on your guys' date. I'll just go confront Amkay about his behavior."

She gives me a sad smile. I know she is concerned but I want her to have a good time with Zicko. They need more time to get comfortable with each other. The same goes for Mattea. I don't know why Amkay is acting like this but I'm going to get to the bottom of it.

Amkay's POV

I know I'm being a jerk. I just don't know what to do. Everytime I get close to Morgan my brother goes crazy and does anything he can to get closer to her. He doesn't care that he might scare her away because all he knows is how he feels towards her. I try to rain him in.

Let me have her! She wants us too. Stop being stupid and go over to her.

I can't because everytime I do then you go berserk and try to shift. Just listen to me when I tell you no.

I don't want to listen because you do the make sense. Why would you want to be away from out mate? Don't you plan to show her anyways?

Yes but not while I'm trying to have a civilized conversation. Just wait and I will show you to her when we decide as a group to reveal ourselves.

He sighs and retreats from my mind. I look over at her and see that she is talking to Kalli. She must hate me.
