Dahlia's POV

************

"I'm gonna be there in like fifteen minutes, chill! It's not like we have to be there by a certain time anyway!" Billie laughed as I paced back and forth in the living room. I'm literally almost shaking, that's how excited I am. The Halloween party is tonight and I've been waiting for this shit for what feels like forever. It's gonna be so much fucking fun! I ordered me and Billie's costumes the night I thought of them and they got here yesterday. Billie is gonna be Sweeney because she doesn't wanna wear the big, bulky ass Ms. Lovett dress, and I was happy to wear it. My naturally curly hair is kinda like Ms. Lovett's anyways. Billie dyed a part of her hair white like Sweeney's too. We both are gonna look amazing. If she ever fucking gets here!

"If you're not here in fifteen minutes I'm going to beat your ass!" I warned her before hanging up and throwing my phone down. I lifted the bottom of my dress and nearly ran across my living room floor.

"I'm excited for tonight too! Julian and I have been flirting and I think he might finally make a move on me. And if he doesn't, I'm just gonna have to make a move on him." Cadence grinned, sounding determined. "I look hot, don't I?"

"You do," I smirked. She's wearing a really revealing soccer costume and she's got his number on her jersey. "If he doesn't try to get with you he's gotta be stupid. Has Caden seen this outfit yet?"

"He's not gonna see it until we get to the party. That's why I'm riding with you and Billie."

I nodded, now understanding why she was opting to ride with us instead of just carpooling with her brother and Denny, who also happens to be going to the party.

"That dress looks amazing on you. Damn...We should've been alive during the Victorian era." She pouted. I shook my head quickly. "No hell we shouldn't have. They didn't have toilets."

She laughed and we continued to get ready in the living room, quietly. After a few minutes, Denver and Cora came down the stairs, shoving each other.

"This is lame. I shouldn't have to stay at home all by myself like some fucking lame while you guys are out having a grand fucking time." Cora pouted as she plopped down on the couch. "It's Halloween. I should be out with my friends getting drunk at a party too."

"You're too young, and that's that. Period." I shook my head at her. "We told you that you could have some friends over while we're gone."

"They're all busy having fun. At parties." She rolled her eyes before sliding down on the couch.

"Stop making excuses and just admit that you don't actually have any friends." Denny smirked. She flipped him off and then got on her phone, ignoring us.

He's dressed like a football player. How creative.

There was a loud knock on the door and I squealed. Before I could move to go get it, Denny was running over.

"Billie! Long time no talk! I remember the days before my darling little sister came along and we used to actually be friends." He grinned.

"Me too. It was a tragic time for me." She stuck her tongue out at him but still gave him a hug. "We'll hang out soon."

"You look great!" I grinned as I looked at Billie. She looks really fucking hot as Sweeney Todd, no lie. She smirked as she stared at her reflection in the fake replica knife she'd brought with her. "I do look pretty villainous. I don't know if you know this, but I'm pretty sexy."

I laughed and shook my head at her. She looked at me and gasped, her mouth falling open a little, and now it was my turn to smirk.

"Damn, you look really good! I love that dress on you. Your boobs have never looked better."

"You're so romantic." I giggled. "Are we all ready to go?"

"Yeah, Caden's outside so you guys need to leave first. I don't wanna get yelled at before I make it to the party." Cadence told Denny. He nodded and told us all bye before walking out of the house. Once we heard them pull out of the driveway, we all told Cora bye before walking out to Billie's car.

***

"Oh my fucking god!" I yelled as I looked around the room. This is my second time in Julian's house, but it looks completely different. There are extravagant Halloween decorations everywhere, snack tables set up in several different places, tons of colorful candy in the bowls sitting on them and plenty of other snacks as well, there's a smoke machine somewhere producing lots of smoke for an amazing effect, but I don't think it's necessary because the room is already cloudy from all the people smoking the loud smelling weed. The music is blaring, just like last time, everyone's dressed up and dancing, some people making out on the couch just like last time as well. There are bottles of alcohol every single place I look and I can tell a lot of these people are already drunk.

This is amazing.

"Wow, this is even better than last year!" Cadence grinned as she looked around as well. "Well, I'm off to find my little JuJu. You guys have fun and text me if you need me." She winked, hurriedly excusing herself and nearly running to find Julian.

I turned to look at Billie who looked less than impressed. She hadn't said anything this whole time. I smiled softly at her and grabbed her hand, squeezing it.

"I know you're iffy, but this is gonna be really fun. Just let loose and enjoy yourself, okay?"

"Mhm." She hummed.

"You need a drink. Come on."

***

Billie's POV

************

I don't trust this shit. Julian's Halloween parties are always insane and something always happens. I regretted showing up the moment we walked through the door, but we're here now and all I can do is try to enjoy myself. I'm on my fourth fucking drink and I don't feel a thing, though, and that's trash.

Dahlia and Caden are dancing on the dance floor, surrounded by all the other sweaty bodies. If there's one thing that's making me feel better, it's watching them. They look like idiots. Neither of them can dance worth a damn, and it's funny.

"Dude, you look miserable."

I turned to look to the left which is where the voice came from. Some girl I've never seen before is sitting there. She has white hair and black makeup, her costume is all leather. She looks good.

"I am."

"Good. Misery loves company." She smirked before sliding closer to me and crossing her arms. She stared out at the dance floor too and let out a small sigh. I stood up quickly and walked toward a food table, snagging an entire huge bowl of m&ms and bringing them back to the couch. I slowly sat down, trying not to waste any, but I still did.

"Want some?" I asked before popping some in my mouth. She nodded and grabbed a whole handful.

"These make the beer taste better." She told me. I scrunched up my nose. "I doubt that."

She popped a few m&ms in her mouth and then took a large swig of her beer. After she gulped it down, she turned to me and smirked before pulling me in for a kiss. I gasped as her tongue found its way into my mouth. It took me a few seconds, but I finally pulled away.

"You can't just kiss people and shit!" I exclaimed, looking back toward Dahlia who was thankfully still dancing with Caden. I let out a sigh of relief when I realized she didn't see that.

"Sorry. Beer makes me horny and randomly kissing people works about seven times out of ten." She sighed. "Won't happen again. I don't like brown m&ms." She handed those to me. I shrugged. "I don't like the yellow ones." I gave those to her.

***

So, maybe I was wrong. We've been here for a while and nothing bad has happened, in fact, I'm having a lot of fun right now.

"That feels so good, Billie." Dahlia nearly whispered as I sucked on her neck. "You're like the k-king of hickeys." She giggled loudly for a few seconds and then stopped abruptly before letting out a yawn. I don't know how many drinks she's had, but I can tell she's a little drunk. She's an adorable drunk. Last time she was super energetic, this time she's sleepy. I like sleepy, drunk Dahlia. Sleepy, drunk Dahlia had come over here about ten minutes ago and demanded to sit on my lap. I, of course, didn't argue, and now here we are. Her straddling my lap as we sit on the couch, me giving her hickeys just for the hell of it. I'm having a good fucking time.

"I wanna take this stupid dress off." She grumbled as she tugged at the laces she'd done to keep her whole chest from showing. I quickly grabbed her hand, letting out a small laugh as she pouted at me. "You can't do that here, baby."

"We look bomb, but this was a terrible idea." She mumbled before sliding off of my lap. It was my turn to pout now.

"I'm going to get more nachos!" She told me before lifting her dress and running off toward the kitchen. I laughed as I watched her almost trip and bump into multiple people before she disappeared from my line of vision. I stood up and stretched my arms above my head. I've been sitting on this same couch the entire time we've been here, other than when I needed to grab myself a drink.

I think I'll get myself another one, actually.

I walked over to the nearest drink table, which happened to be right beside the opened back door. As I poured myself another drink, I stared out at the beautiful back yard. There are a lot of people out there, but not as many as there are inside, and it's quieter out there. There are fairy lights and Halloween decorations scattered around out there, the large pool being illuminated by all the lights. There aren't that many people in there, and I think if Dahlia really wants to get out of that dress we can find her a T-shirt to put on and swim for a while.

I was just about to turn around to head back to the couch and wait for Dahlia to get back so I could ask her about that when something caught my eye. Two boys in the corner of the pool kissing. One of those boys looked pretty familiar.

I narrowed my eyes and stepped outside, walking forward until I could actually make out the guy's face. I'm not usually this nosy, but I swear he looks so familiar.

I couldn't tell from where I was standing so I—after having five drinks, mind you—decided to walk toward them and squat down right beside them. I got as close as I could to their faces without actually getting into the pool, and they finally noticed my presence after a while and pulled away from one another. It looked like I was about to join in on the kiss myself with how close I was, and the boy I didn't recognize looked pissed. The boy I did recognize looked scared.

"Denny?" I questioned quietly. "Ah. Denny." I nodded to myself as I finally realized who he was. "Cool." I shrugged before standing up again and walking back toward the house. I just needed to figure out who he was and how I knew him, and I did that so now I'm moving on.

Before I could make it back to the couch, wet arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up. I gasped as I kicked my legs out, trying to get away from the wet body that was holding me. I wasn't facing them so I didn't know who they were, and I was so fucking drunk that I practically forgot about what had happened just a few seconds ago already.

They carried me into a nearby room before finally putting me down and slamming the door shut behind us. I turned to look at them and sighed as I saw Denny standing there.

"You didn't see anything, okay?! It wasn't what it looked like, Billie, I swear! I-I'm just drunk and he's got long fucking hair, I basically thought he was a girl! He pulled me in and I was trying to get away from him but he's a— he's a strong guy, you know? I didn't wanna kiss him, I didn't want that! That was gross! I didn't like it at all because I don't like guys I like girls! Only girls!" He rambled on and on, trying to make excuses as I just stood there and stared at him blankly.

"Dude, why are you freaking out? I don't care if you like guys, obviously. I'm not homophobic." I'm literally fucking your little sister, how could I be?

He shook his head quickly. "Did you not hear what I said?! I don't like guys." Sure, Jan.

"But you were just kissing—"

"He kissed me!" He yelled. "Billie, don't fucking tell anyone, please! I'm begging. What you saw out there wasn't supposed to happen and it won't ever happen again! I didn't like it and I—I didn't mean for you to see it!"

Does he realize other people probably saw that too? It's not like I was the only one outside. I mentally shrugged. It's none of my business.

"Yeah, dude, I won't fucking tell."

"Thank you, Billie!" He breathed.

"You got my costume wet." I pouted. He chuckled. "Sorry about that. There's a bathroom through those doors if you wanna dry off." He pointed me in the right direction and I thanked him before watching as he left the room. I went where he said to go and knocked on the bathroom door before pushing it open. I gasped as I saw Cadence and Julian in there doing...lines?

Of cocaine?

What the fuck?

Cadence gasped, her cheeks going red as she stared at me. Julian didn't seem to mind me being there if he even realized I was.

"Cadence—"

She pushed me out of the bathroom and closed the door behind us. "Billie, you can't tell anyone about this, okay?!" She whisper yelled. I rolled my eyes. Is this gonna be a trend tonight? People asking me to keep their dirty secrets? "It's not what you think, okay? It's just...he asked if I wanted to do it and I said no, and then he called me lame so I decided I'd try it. I've never done it before and I'm never doing it again, I promise!"

"You're in there doing cocaine because some pussy ass boy called you lame for not wanting to?" I gave her a disapproving look. "Cadence, you could get addicted to that shit."

"I'm not going to." She shook her head. "I've liked this guy forever, okay? We're finally about to fuck, I can feel it."

"I don't give a shit." I enunciated each and every word. "He seems like a douche, especially if he's peer pressuring you into doing drugs."

"We're not twelve, Billie, he's not 'peer pressuring' me." She mocked. "It's not like he asked me to do meth. It'll be fine, I promise! I'm not gonna do anymore, my high won't last that long, it'll be fine! Just don't tell anyone about this, alright? Especially not my brother."

"Fine, whatever." I sigh. "Just don't do any fucking more."

She nodded and gave me a quick hug before walking back into the bathroom. I guess me drying myself off is canceled.

I let out a low whistle before turning to walk away. When I got back into the living room, the first person I saw was the girl with white hair from earlier. I looked around, trying to find Dahlia, but it didn't seem like she was in there so I just went over to the girl.

"What's your name?" I asked loudly. Somehow, the music had gotten even louder than before.

"Bea!" She shouted. I nodded and sat down next to her again. We'd talked a lot earlier and she seemed pretty interesting, so I decided to just stick with her until Dahlia gets back. She's probably playing fucking beer pong right now. She's great at it, and I hate it.

***

Dahlia's POV

************

This house is so fucking huge that I wanted to explore it. I had three more drinks and smoked half a blunt before I started my little adventure. I'm actually surprised. I've never smoked weed before, but I did pretty good for my first time.

It was probably a bad idea, though, seeing as I'd taken an edible only five minutes before smoking it. It's just that the edible wasn't actually doing anything. Maybe there wasn't enough weed in it?

I'm pretty sure I ate a weed brownie or three too. I was just at the snack table, going in on my nachos when I started craving chocolate and those were the first things I saw. I had a cupcake after the brownies too! It was all really good.

I really need to stick to my 'diet'. After tonight I totally will.

Anyways, even after all that I'm still not feeling a god damn thing. Maybe I'm immune to weed or something?

"Dude," I drawled as I stared at a fancy looking painting. It looks like it belongs in a museum. They probably bought it from one, the rich bastards. "This is sick!"

I'm pretty much talking to myself because surprisingly, no one else is in this hallway. Maybe we're not supposed to be up here? There's really no reason to be. Everything's happening downstairs. I mean...on the first floor.

This is a three-story mansion.

I shrugged to myself before heading back down to the second floor. I don't wanna be rude.

When I got back down to the second floor, I narrowed my eyes, my vision blurry. I could've sworn I saw Billie and some girl talking, leaning against one another, but I can't tell if it's actually Billie or not. The costume should be a dead giveaway, but I've actually seen three girls dressed as Sweeney tonight. And here I thought my idea was unique.

"Dahlia?"

I nearly jumped out of my skin as I heard someone behind me call my name. I turned quickly and let out an audible groan when I saw Kai standing there. She laughed a little, trying to hide her wince as she noticed how I reacted to her. "What's up...who's this?" I slurred as I pointed at the girl standing next to her. She's really pretty. She has bright red hair and she's dressed like Jessica rabbit.

"This is Jaylen." Kai smiles proudly, wrapping her arm around the girl's waist. Jaylen stares at me, her eyes not leaving mine as she leans into Kai. Her face is smug, her eyebrows raised as if she's telling me to do something. I raise my own brows.

It's quiet for a while. Kai is busy gawking at Jaylen, Jaylen is busy trying to stare into my soul and assert her dominance or some shit, and I'm staring at Jaylen, who's actually turned into the actual Jessica rabbit right in front of my eyes. I narrow my eyes and tilt my head at her, bringing my face closer to her.

Dude, am I imagining this or is this actually Jessica rabbit? I look at Kai again to see what she's dressed as. Ms. Puff...Now, why would Jessica rabbit be with Ms. puff?

"Like my costume?" There's a third girl here now. I don't know her, but as I blink I realize that she's the one dressed as Ms. Puff, not Kai. Kai is dressed as Betty Boop. Nice.

"So you're the girl Kai told me about?" I jumped back as Jaylen started talking, my mouth falling open as I tried to focus on her, but she kept moving around. First, she was on the left side of Kai, then the right, then in front of her, then hiding behind her, then she was behind me, her breath ghosting over my neck.

Kai was looking behind me as well, so I figured that that was actually where she was. I turned slowly to look at her. She had her arms crossed, her weight resting on one leg as she waited for me to reply.

"Maybe." I shrugged.

"You're the girl with the...tragic...past. And apparently, the tragic naked picture." She cackled loudly and her own laugh turned into the one of the evil queen's in Snow White.

Snow White. Who's dressed as Snow White tonight? I'd seen somebody dressed as her, but I can't remember for the life of me who it was...Julia! She's here. She's dressed as Snow White and I know that because Denny was arguing with her earlier.

Wait. Did this bitch just mention my past?

I rolled my eyes and shook my head as I tried my best to look at her. "Babe..." I heard Kai whisper yell.

"What?" Jaylen questioned. "This bitch breaks your heart and you expect me to be nice to her? As if." She scoffed.

"You don't know me, bitch. Mind your business." I slurred, stepping closer to her. She glared down at me. She must've been 5'10 or something, but it seemed like she was eight feet tall to me.

"I know that I don't like you. How could you hurt someone as kind as Kai? How could you leave her for some slimy little slut like Billie?"

I don't know what came over me, but before I could even think about it I had punched her right in the mouth. She was starting to look a little familiar.

I thought hard about it and then realized that I recognized her from the video Kai had sent me. I also recognized her as one of the girls who'd jumped me. "Ready for round two, Dahlia?" She'd asked.

I wasn't then, but I am now.

I pushed her against the wall and threw my fists as quickly as I could until she slid down to the ground. I crawled on top of her and kept throwing punches for as long as I could. I'm fairly sure that half of them didn't connect, seeing as I was swinging at about four of her, but since she was screaming to get me the fuck off of her, I'm pretty sure some of them did connect.

"You fucking bitch! You and your two friends jumped me! You fucking tased me, you crazy ass bitch! You fucking—" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I swung wildly. I only grew angrier as I felt a pair of arms pulling me off of her. I heard feet stomping as people ran up the stairs, and then there were more people than Kai trying to separate us. I grabbed her long hair with one hand and kept swinging with the other.

"Get the fuck off of her, Dahlia, stop it!" Kai screamed. "No, fuck You! You didn't ask her to get off of me when she was beating my ass, did you?!" I growled. I reached behind me to swing at her face, and I immediately regretted it.

The people trying to break us up finally managed to since I'd let go of her hair for a second, and I didn't even swing at Kai hard enough to actually hurt her.

I screamed at the top of my lungs as she dragged me into a nearby room and closed the door behind us, locking it and standing in front of it to keep me from getting out.

"So that's the bitch you wanna be with? The bitch that helped two other bitches beat my ass? That's the reason you apologized to me?" I questioned, pacing back and forth as I unlaced my dress. This shit is hot as hell and it's so hard to move around in. I bet if I hadn't fucking been wearing it I would've been able to beat her ass more too.

"Dahlia, I'm sorry, I didn't know she was gonna be rude to you! I didn't know we were gonna run into each other at all and I—"

"Shut up!" I spat as I rubbed my temples. I needed a moment to think.

My head was pounding and the room was spinning. I feel like I'm not even on the ground right now. The room keeps transforming into different scenery, the music keeps fading in and out, every time Kai speaks it sounds like she's talking in tongues. Every time I open my eyes I see something insane. Every time I close my eyes it's even worse. I wish I had a camera so everybody could see—

A camera?

I pull my phone out of my bra and stare at it for a while before smiling. A camera.

I open it quickly and start recording a video before I look at Kai who's too busy pacing herself to notice me. I sit my phone on the desk across from the bed and make sure it'll stay standing up before I stomp over to Kai and shove her against the wall.

"Please don't—I'm sorry for everything, I can't—" Kai's pleading is cut off by my lips on hers. She doesn't kiss back at first, but she eventually melts right into it just as I expected her to.

I guess little Mrs. Jaylen isn't so important to her now.

"Dahlia—" she pulls away, tears in her eyes. "What are—"

"I want you. I didn't realize that until I saw you with her, but now I see. I want you, baby." I lied. "Please, let me prove it to you?"

She nodded, a small smile coming onto her face before she pulled me back in for another kiss. We both stripped as quickly as we could, although that was quite the task for me, and then I pushed her onto the bed before crawling on top of her.

"You're gonna love this." I grinned.
