SATHVIK POV:

here i am sitting in a ceremony hall at asim bhai's engagement. he's my elder brother's friend but since bhai couldn't make it i had to take the trouble to come here. i already met asim bhai and congratulated me and he just acknowledged my wishes with a curt nod.

this man doesn't give away any emotions.

i had a nice chat with sathya bhai for some time and then he got busy with some work.

here i am completely bored with no means of entertainment.

i was randomly scanning the ceremony hall when a very familiar figure caught my attention. i rubbed my eyes once and looked at her again.

IT WAS ADITI.

what was she doing here? am i hallucinating again?? damn this girl hasn't left my mind ever since our first encounter..! i pinched myself to confirm i was not hallucinating.

and yeah.. she was really there..! cause it hurt like a bitch when i pinched myself..

with a smirk decorated on my face i walked towards her. finally something or rather, someone entertaining in the crowd.

as soon as i approached her, i tapped on her shoulder as she was back facing me.

she turned back and her face held an extremely shocking expression as soon as she saw me.

damn she looked gorgeous..! was she even real?? my heart started beating faster as i kept looking at her..! damn she could make any other girl fade in the background. i can admire her the whole day without even blinking my eyes. what would it feel like if she would be mine-

stop it sathvik! get a hold on yourself!

ADITI: youu??!! what the hell are you doing here??!

SATHVIK: hello to you too..! missed me soo much peanut that you've started following me??

ADITI: i should be the one asking you that question..! what the hell are you doing at MY BESTFRIEND'S engagement?

SATHVIK: your best friend?? how come asim bhai is your best friend?? *confused*

ADITI: *facepalming herself* i am speaking about the bride dumbhead.. aayat.. she's my best friend.

i made an 'o' face to the revelation.

ADITI: you still didn't answer my question. what are you doing here?

she asked while raising her eyebrows.

SATHVIK: i am from asim bhai's side. he's my brother's friend.

i replied to which she simply nodded.

not being satisfied i decided to tease her. i loved to get a rise out of her!

SATHVIK: sooo.. don't you think this is destiny?

ADITI: huh? what are you speaking about??

SATHVIK: you're the bride's best friend, i am from the groom's side.. and we met unexpectedly in such a lovable and pure place. don't you think its a sign? maybe your prayers worked peanut..! i might start showing a bit of interest in you now..!

her face turned red with anger..!

ADITI: hey you!! let me make one thing clear..! i have absolutely no interest in you or anything related to you..! you are the last person i wish to see on this earth..! you soo damn annoying that i wanna rip your head off and play football with it..! and DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME PEANUT!

SATHVIK: aww peanut don't get angry..! its ok if you're shy to admit..! you can open up slowly..!

ADITI: get lost!

saying this she huffed in anger and went away leaving me with a satisfied look on my face. this girl was soo fun to tease! she reacted so early and that is what i love about her..! unfiltered.. she doesn't think of anything and just says whatever comes out of her mouth.

but i need to keep this to teasing and only teasing. no hard feelings. no feelings at all!

ADITI'S POV:

here i was, at aayat's engagement. it felt so overwhelming to see my best friend getting engaged so early. it felt as if we grew up very fast. it feels like yesterday when we sat in our college with our lunch boxes open and laughing out loud on nothing specific. tho much time hasn't passed and aayat is getting engaged early, i couldn't help but get worried for her.

my train of thoughts was interrupted when someone patted my shoulder from behind.

i turned around to check who it was and....

OH. MY. GOD.

what the hell was this dumbhead doing here? is he following me?? and why the hell is he smirking at me?

oh wait, damn he looks hot. he has a white formal shirt on with few of its buttons unbuttoned at the top. his off white creamish formal pants going extremely well with the shirt.

he was looking nothing less than a greek god.

how could it be possible for someone to look soo good looking?!

wait what the hell aditi??! why are you even praising this human here? he's the worst nightmare you could ever have..!

just as i thought he couldn't get more annoying, he accused me.. THE ADITI MEHRA of stalking him?! ohh please as if i didn't have any other better work!

and what the hell!! he was here at my best friend's engagement and accusing me?? he should be the one who must answer my questions!

just when i argued with him and demanded to know why he was here, he told me he was from asim bhai's side.

wow. just great.

just when i thought it was over, he claimed for this to be destiny and that i freaking prayed for him?!! and he might start liking me because god listened to my prayers??!!

he's getting too ahead of himself! i couldn't take this anymore..!

that is when i lost control and blasted at him..!

the reply which came from his side was even more annoying and i knew that i will definately get violent if he keeps on irritating me..! i chose to play it smart and left the place..!

that's for both his and mine good.

i will be saved from having a visit to the jail for murder, and him.. well he could have the liberty of being and alive and taking in oxygen.

even though i considered it as a waste of oxygen lol..!

but truth to be admitted..! he was looking breathtaking..!
