Chapter 472 Are You Good Enough?
Analise couldnât clear the confusion in his mind. This was a problem between a couple, and she had her reasons for urging Abigail to have a child, even though it caused Sean to get the wrong idea of Abigail. In addition, she couldnât be sure whether it was out of love that Abigail agreed to have a baby with Sean or not.
After consoling Analise, Sean sent her back to L.Moon. Standing outside the entrance, he dialed Kellyâs number, and the moment she picked up, he said coldly, âCome out. Letâs talk.â
âAre you calling because of Luna? If so, you can forget it, Sean.â Kelly sounded rather tough.
this time.
Sean knew fully well why she was doing this. Once Lawrence returned from abroad, he would undoubtedly put Luna through hell for Kellyâs sake. After a few seconds of silence, he said, âKelly, sometimes, doing too much is not good.â-
âI donât understand what youâre saying. Iâve been respectful toward Abigail the whole time. Because of some misunderstanding-â
âThatâs enough. Iâm hanging up since you donât want to talk,â Sean interjected impatiently.
Right before he hung up, she said anxiously, âWhat do you want to speak about?â
âI donât want to speak over the phone,â he said and hung up.
He loitered outside for a while and received an address sent by Kelly. Then, he took a cab straight to the restaurant she asked to meet. Upon seeing him, Kelly felt her breathing steadily increasing and her heart pounding against her chest.
âAbout Luna, do you really think that youâll win?â Sean asked directly after taking a seat.
Kellyâs stacked hands couldnât help but tremble. âBut itâs a fact that she installed a camera in my room.â
âThen, who installed the camera that caught her in the act?â he asked with a stoic face.
On the other hand, she looked smug. âMy father is very mad and wonât let her off. Heâs going to reach Capitalis tonight. Itâs not a problem if you want to settle this before he returns. Just announce publicly that youâre going to marry me.â
âYou should know that I wonât agree to this request for Lunaâs sake. No matter how much I love Abigail, I wonât sacrificeâmyself to help her friend,â Sean scoffed at her offer with icy eyes.

13 negotiate with Kelly was the biggest concession he was willing to make.
âSean, this is the best I can do. If youâre not agreeable, thereâs nothing else I can offer you,â she said, picking up the menu and starting to order.
âSince you canât do anything, so be it, then.â He stood up, spun around, and wanted to leave.
She sprang up as he did and blurted. âYou already made it here. Are you okay to return. without achieving anything?â Sean didnât even turn around as he couldnât be bothered with. her. âSean Graham!â she shouted. âL.Moon may shut its doors forever this time. Even so, are you going to stay out of it?â
Stopping in his tracks, he turned around and stared at her. âIf itâs a marriage that involves two great families. Itâs not just your decision.â
Delight and surprise flashed in her eyes when she saw that he seemed to have conceded. âOf course, my father will take a step back for me,â she said. âIâll tell him to let L.Moon off, as well as Luna. Then, all the disgruntlement Abigail has toward you will disappear because of your compromise.â
He looked her in the eyes. âTonight, I want to speak personally with your father once heâs back, and the marriage between both families has to go according to the rules of a marriage of convenience. Also, release Luna now.â
âSure. Suddenly, Kellyâs spirits shot. up.
Spinning on his heels, Sean sneered indifferently. Sheâs just an imposter. Does she really think that sheâs good enough?
While Abigail and Josh were discussing Lunaâs issue, Joshâs phone started ringing. Upon seeing that it was a call from Kelly, he immediately said, âDonât speak. My sisterâs callingâ
Picking up the coffee in front of her, Abigail took a slow sip as Josh pushed the green button. After listening to Kelly, he seemed a little surprised. âAre you saying that, for Lunaâs sake, Sean is willing to marry you?â Again and again, he asked to be sure and stole a look at Abigail subconsciously.
Unable to believe that Sean would agree to Kellyâs request because of Luna, Abigail met Joshâs eyes with shock.
âIâll pick up Luna in a while, Josh said and ended the call. Turning to Abigail, he hesitated before saying. âSean must be doing this because of L.Moon Lunaâs part is smaller than 1.Moonâs r 2/3 âI know. Go and pick up Luna. But, after such a thing, are you and Luna still able to continue with the relationship?â Abigail asked.
âLetâs see whether Sean will bring up any additional conditions.â Pausing, he then added, âAbigail, this matter started because of you and Sean conceded for your sake. Itâs not too much to ask for if he also mentions me and Luna as an additional condition, right?â
âItâs up to him whether heâs going to bring this up or not. I canât ask more from him,â Abigail pointed out.
Josh nodded. âYou have a point. Iâm surprised as well that he agrees to the marriage of convenience for your sake.â
