Chapter 66.1. Masatoshi Learns The Meaning Of The Original Story

The Iron Spider begins to move. Masatoshi, who knows the story, is astonished that this is impossible. Without noticing Sena, who is casually watching him so as not to get noticed, he recalls the original story.

In the original story, at the start of the novel’s story, Duke Kanna Yamato was the most powerful and authority of the nobles. He had power, if anything, that exceeded that of the royal family. It was a party hosted by the emperor to celebrate every kid’s 10 year old debut. More than anything else, the party was held at the imperial castle, where many monsters broke out and killed many people. Moreover, the monsters were only commoners, and no nobles were even injured.

The number of commoners who died was approximately 50,000. Including the injured, the number was more than double that. He thinks the author wanted to make an impact, although it’s quite exaggerated. In reality, the number of casualties would be staggering.

The tanks that were supposed to protect the people did not move, and the tank soldiers were the first to flee. The protagonist wins over the royal family, which barely retains their power, and other nobles, and defeats his father, Duke Kanna. It was a burning development and a classic royal road story.

That is why it’s strange for the tanks to move here. Duke Kanna had his hand around and taken in a battalion commander to lead the tank soldiers, who should have stopped the engines altogether.

The event was an avalanche of scissors mantis attacking the commoners without any interference from tanks or warriors.

The story seems different now, but the main thrust of the original story will remain the same.

In the story ahead, Shin and Sena will get attacked by the scissors mantis, and Shin showed a glimpse of his [Void] element and fought them off. Then Sena falls in love with Shin, who saves her.

Masatoshi was planning to change that. When the scissors mantis attacked her, he would quickly defeat it himself. For this reason, he secretly wears combat innerwear under his clothes, and he wears a magic bracelet as an activator of magic too. Although the equipment was far weaker than the Magic Armor, he still had confidence that he could easily defeat the scissors mantis. That’s how much effort he had put in.

That Sena’s in love with him. He tried to hold back his smile and followed her and the others to take shelter.
