Chapter 603 - Its Only Right To Adore My Wife

The sound of the belt falling on the body was unusually loud, and it made their scalps tingle.

In the blink of an eye, the group of people who were still really aggressive just now had covered their arms and legs and were rolling on the ground.

Zhong Jie looked at Yan Jinyi who was standing among the crowd. She flung her leather belt and stared at him coldly. “Do you want to continue?”

“You…wait for me,” Zhong Jie said furiously.

“Fine, I’ll wait. If you have what it takes, get your powerful father to arrest me. Otherwise, I will despise you. To think that you’re a man, you can’t even deal with a weak and delicate woman.”

After saying that, she strutted away elegantly in her heels.

“Damn it.” Zhong Jie’s angry features were twisted as he grimaced and said, “I must settle this debt.”

Yan Jinyi moved her muscles and she now felt that her body was soothed. If nothing goes wrong, she would be able to exercise in the next two days.

It was already the wee hours of the morning by the time she returned to the hotel. After washing up and getting ready to go to bed, her cell phone rang.This time, it was a video call from Huo Xishen.

Yan Jinyi was still wearing a black mask on her face which made her seem terrifying under the dim lights from the headboard.

After thinking about it, she connected the video and soon, Huo Xishen’s handsome face, which she had been lusting over for a long time, finally appeared in the screen.

“Mr. Huo, don’t you know that it’s already morning here at my side? Waking someone up from their sleep is a very immoral thing to do.”

Huo Xishen didn’t answer and merely changed the subject. “Darling, when did you become so close to Mr. Tang?”

‘What does he mean? Does he know about my conversation with Zhong Yousheng today? That’s impossible. I doubt Huo Xishen has planted any of his snitches on Zhong Yousheng’s territory. Even if there are, it’s unlikely that they’d know me!’

After thinking about it, Yan Jinyi decided to feign ignorance. “Mr. Huo, what are you talking about? I can’t understand it!”

“It seems that you’ve gotten amnesia, Darling. Mr. Tang has just texted me.”

“Huh?”

“I heard that you went to the casino in Hong Kong today and told people that you and Mr. Tang are lovers,” Huo Xishen said in a cold voice.

Yan Jinyi was immediately excited. She sat up and removed the beauty mask on her face. “Nonsense, I clearly said that Tang Qing is in love with me and that he’s trying to woo me. When did we ever mention that we’re lovers?”

“Darling, it seems that you’ve gone to the casino tonight,” Huo Xishen said with a nod.

Yan Jinyi was stunned and only then did it dawn on her that Huo Xishen had deliberately tricked her to make her admit it.

‘How dare they bully me? Do they think I’m scared just because I didn’t retaliate?’

“Mr. Huo, you don’t have to worry about my personal matters.” Suddenly reminded of something, Yan Jinyi raised her brows at the screen and said with an ambiguous smile, “Or are you worried about my safety, Mr. Huo?”

Huo Xishen answered without hesitating, “I’m indeed worried.”

Yan Jinyi was stunned. “Mr. Huo, do you adore me?”

“It’s only right to adore my wife.”
