Chapter 1315
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
âAndy, youâre brilliant!â Penny beamed and complimented Andy on his success.
Though the money did not mean much to Penny or Andy, it was a display of Andyâs senses that he managed to find such highâquality jadeite from all the rocks available.
âOf course! There are two rocks left and maybe they will give me jadeite of even higher quality!â Andy said smugly as his confidence was boosted.
More attention was drawn to the area and almost every single customer in the shop gathered around them.
âThis young man is quite sharp!â
âYeah! If he can get flowerâgreen on his first try, he might just get creamâclear or even clear jadeites next!â
âClear jadeites? I donât think so, but thereâs still a great chance that he will get creamâclear jadeite!â
The others were all impressed by Andyâs instinct and luck.
A flowerâgreen jadeite was rare but was far from comparable to creamâclear and clear ones.
Clear jadeites were the best quality of jadeite and even the topâclass Imperial Green belonged to this category, so jadeites of this sort naturally cost far more than flowerâgreens and creamâclear.
Since clear jadeites were scarce, it would not be easy to find one and if Andy indeed gambled on a rock that contained clear jadeite, his name would be known to all rock gamblers.
âSir, carry on with the second one, please!â Andy urged as he fantasized about finding clear jadeite in the two remaining rocks he selected. Not only would he be able to make the best statue for Pennyâs grandfather, but he would also be able to take revenge on Leon for the humiliation he put Andy through.
However, the reality was cruel and the second rock contained a piece of paleâgreen jadeite that was hardly worth a few thousand.
Though disappointed, Andy refused to give up and placed all his hope on the last rock. âOpen the last one!â
âI wonder if heâll get a piece of clear jadeite!â
âItâs time for the big reveal!â
The other customers stared at the rock intently and nervously.
Since rock gambling relied heavily on luck, it was normal that Andy ended up with a lowâquality jadeite for his second rock. So long as he managed to obtain a piece of highâquality jadeite with the third rock, he could still prove himself to be a seasoned rock gambler.
âSnap!â
The staff cut into the third rock, revealing the jadeite inside.
âItâs out!â
âI think itâs clear jadeite!â
The crowd stirred and some of the customers started cheering.
âThatâs great!â Andy burst out laughing. He dreamed of getting clear jadeite and was excited beyond words that his dream was coming true.
However, someone in the crowd questioned the classification of the jadeite in the next instant.
