Chapter 1211
The Ex-Husband's Revenge
âWhat?!â
The Shears were shocked.
âCynthia, the Fields are monsters. How can you agree to it? I wonât agree to this!â Brad said in frustration.
âYeah! Cynthia, donât agree with it! You are ruining your own life!â Harvey roared as he glared daggers at the Fields and Sean.
âDad, Harvey, itâs fine. As one of the descendants of the Shears, I canât just stand by and watch as they destroy us. If sacrificing my happiness can keep you safe, itâs all worth it,â Cynthia bit down on her lip.
Tears welled in her eyes, but she kept them in before her enemies.
âBut-â
Brad and the other Shears fell into silence gloomily as they knew that Cynthia was right. Before such absolute power, the Shears had no choice but to comply.
âWhy is this happening?â Benedict muttered in devastation.
âThatâs great!â Seeing how Cynthia finally agreed to marry him, Theodore burst out laughing in excitement.
âDonât get all excited just yet, Theodore! I can agree to this, but thereâs one condition!â Cynthia glared at Theodore.
âWhat is it? Go on!â He stopped laughing.
âYou need to promise that the Fields and the Lapwoods wonât hurt Leon!â Cynthia gritted out. She only chose to obey to protect her family, but also because she wanted to shield Leon from the Lapwoods.
âWhat?! No way!â Theodore was furious.
Leon destroyed his legs and Theodore was dying to get rid of Leon. On top of that, Sean only agreed to help the Fields because he wanted the Power Methods from Leon.
The Fields and the Lapwoods would never agree to let Leon live.
âIf you refuse to agree to this, I will kill myself right here and now! None of us get what we want, then!â
She said and gathered her true energy onto her palm, before aiming it at her head.
âCynthia, donât!â
âDonât be foolish!â
The Shears gasped and shouted behind her.
âWhy you! Very well!â Theodore sneered and thought to himself, âLeon isnât in Springfield City now and itâs not like we can harm him anyway! If thatâs the case, I might as well agree to her terms and get her to agree to the marriage first!â
âFine! Iâll agree to that!â Theodore nodded.
âItâs a deal, then! If you break this promise, Iâll haunt you for life!â Cynthia said, before dropping her hand.
