Chapter 32

“Raphael over here!!!!!!”

It was Devon that yelled as after Raphael took care of the four golems who were formerly attacking him, another two launched themselves at him.

Raphael’s eyebrows furrowed when he heard Devon’s loud voice. As when he destroyed those golems, Raphael had moved himself towards another target, and considering the distance which he was, there was no way he could intercept those golems before they got to Devon.

Suddenly, a dark spiraling portal appeared in front of him, and when Raphael saw the portal, he flashed a smile. He didn’t waste any time and dashed into the portal.

“Shitttt!!!” Devon, of course, didn’t stand and watch as the golems came toward him, he ran as fast as possible across the rock in the surrounding.

“Ohhh shitttttt!!!!”

There was no way an E-rank metahuman could outrun this golem, and in less than a minute, the two golems obstructed Devon’s path. The two golems raised their legs, wanting to stomp Devon’s body when a dark portal appeared.

As Raphael emerged from the portal, he struck a full-force punch at the golem that he appeared before, then propelling his body forward, he punched the other, before then landing on the rock close to Devon.

Despite, watching how his attack sent both golems flying before their bodies then crumbled, a deep frown could be seen on Raphael’s face.

Raphael turned towards Devon, “If you keep it on this way, you’re going to lose your life very soon. While being smart might get you somewhere in life, if you don’t have the power to back it up, sooner or later you will become a nobody.” Raphael stated.

“I... I...” Devon stuttered.

“Whether it is big or small, you also have an ambition of your own, but if you believe being only smart will get you there, then you are terribly wrong. You have an advantage over others, I say you make good use of it.”

“This is my advice to you... The rest is for you to decide whether you will listen or not.” Raphael said, then dashed forward.

Gus, who was standing on Raphael’s shoulder, flew and sat on Devon’s head. After Raphael’s words, Devon clenched his hand into a tight fist, he then kept staring at the golems that the others were battling before moving several steps backward.

Meanwhile, Elisa’s eyes had been glued to Raphael the whole time. She was standing a few meters and was able to hear what he said to Devon. His words somehow brought a smile to her face, and when he moved, she also took a step forward.

“Damn! What sorcery is this!!!! We still have twenty more minutes to go, at this rate the single-headed golem will all be destroyed, and we will have to deal with the two-headed ones and that three-headed golem.” Jackson and his clones exclaimed.

Apart from Devon, no other students had a problem dealing with the single-headed golem, they were like ants waiting to be squashed. They, however, grouped themselves as they fought the two-headed golem, and as for the three-headed golem, that was the main headache for them.

Mason and the twins had become quite arrogant after dealing with a few two-headed golems, and they decided to try their hand at the three-headed golem, only for the three of them to be blasted away from the attack of golem.

“Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh!!!!” The unthinkable occurred, as a few seconds, after the golem swept Mason and the twins away, it unleashed a powerful roar that had the flames which were in the surroundings moving at a frantic pace.

The three-headed golem suddenly clapped his huge hand, and about a quarter of the flames that were in the area gathered behind him.

“Ohhhh... Myyyyy... Goddddd!!!!!!”

“We are going to die!!!!!!” One of the students exclaimed as the flames tolled above the three-headed golem, like a tsunami.

The students were all horrified when they saw the flames, and before any of them could even react, the three-headed golem waved his hands, sending the flames forward.

Even though they had avoided contact with the flames the whole time, they could still sense the intensity of the flame, and truthfully, they would rather go head-to-head with an A-rank metahuman, than to be bathed in those flames.

“This is bad!!!” Even Xavier, who possesses the legendary cursed flame of hell, was seemingly worried. He stared at the others who also had a horrified look on their faces, and he gulped.

However, just when all hope seemed to be lost, a huge bubble suddenly enveloped the students. “Hold tight guys!!!!!” It was Alice that spoke.

Alice was also inside a bubble of her own, and beside her was Savannah. Alice’s hands were on the flute in her mouth, as she strengthened the bubble, while Savannah was beside her, just in case a mishap was to occur.

“Here it comes~!”

A second after her loud voice rang out, the flames swept all over the surrounding. The flames covered the bubble in which the students were enveloped, but despite its attempt, it wasn’t able to penetrate through the bubble defense.

Alice’s body was, however, soaked in sweats, her hands which were holding on to the flute began to tremble and likewise did her body. Her breathing also became ragged, and it would have seemed like she was going to pass out when Savannah suddenly placed her hand on her shoulder.

“Relax, you’re going to be fine,” Savannah whispered as she brought Alice back to shape.

Alice nodded her head and began to work on the flute which was in her mouth. And even as the flames kept moving back and forth, it wasn’t able to break the defense of the bubble.

Then after a couple of seconds, the tides stopped, and it all returned to the usual state. As Alice dispersed the bubble around everyone, she collapsed on Savannah’s body right away.

“Good job, Alice!”

“Thank you, Alice!”

The students quickly gave their thanks to Alice, even Raphael said his. He would have to make a move up his sleeves if he wanted to survive those tides, but with the bubbles that Alice created, he still had several moves that aren’t yet revealed.

“We have to take care of this thing!” Levi exclaimed.

“Mason, I’m going to need you to launch me towards the golem at full strength, and Savannah, I want you to be on guard, just in case.” Levi then stripped himself off the clothes he had on, leaving only his boxers short on him, and ran towards Mason.

Levi hadn’t tested his powers against any of the golems so far, this was going to be the first, and he sure hoped it was going to work.

The rest of the students stared at Levi, as he ran towards Mason, and when he got to Mason, he was launched forward at full force by Mason. Everyone sure hoped that Levi’s powers worked against the golem or else there was no doubt of it, he was going to be devastated.

Levi spread his body wide, it didn’t have to be his hand only, so long as any part of his body touched the golem, he would have the golem exactly where he wanted. “Dieeeeee!!!!” And a few seconds before Levi landed on the golem, he let out a loud roar.

GBAM!

Levi’s body collided with the golem, but it wasn’t in a way that he expected. The three-headed golem had been able to catch Levi just when he was to hit, and as it glared at Levi, flames covered the golem’s head.

Once the golem had Levi, the other students didn’t wait for him to crush him and immediately dashed forward.

Melinda created a spear made of bones and threw it at the golem. And just like her, everyone who was capable of delivering a long range of attack sent one at the three-headed golem as they continued to approach it.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

However, among all of them, the first to get to the golem was Mason. Aiden had managed to create a portal, and Mason went through it right away. The twins didn’t want to miss out, and before the portal could close, they also rushed in.

“Nooo!!!” The instant Mason emerged in front of the three-headed golem, they engaged in a brawl right away, as Mason held the hand of the golem which was Levi was wrapped around.

BANG!

Mason struck a head at the golem, and instead of the golem, he was the one who suffered the damage. Mason’s forehead was soon covered in blood, and before he could even get a grip of himself, the golem delivered a powerful knee strike at his abdomen.

“Pffftttttt!!!” Blood splattered out of Mason’s mouth, but despite the severe injury which he suffered from the golem, he still didn’t let go of the golem’s hand.

BOOM!! BOOM! BOOM!!!

Suddenly, three consecutive black lightning were thrown at the golem. However, it is just as pointless as the headbutt that Mason delivered.

The golem glanced at Sean, who was running about, and the twins who were holding his leg. Tightly. The golem then shook his leg, and it sent the twins once more, but this time around it was even more severe as they were going to be landing on the sea of flames.

Aiden moved quickly, he sent a portal at the position where the twins were going to land, and another at the exit of the domain.

As the twins landed on the exit of the domain, the both of them split, and they soon passed out very quickly. It didn’t take much after the twins fainted, and Aiden also went down.

Bane brought him to the walkway on the exit of the domain, joining the twins, Martha, Savannah, and Alice.

PEW! PEW!

Mason still kept a firm grip on the three-headed golem, but that didn’t last for too much, as once the golem escaped from one of his hands, the golem punched him right in the face.

The attack wasn’t something that Mason was capable of resisting, he flew, but the golem didn’t let him go easily, before he could cover much distance, the golem dashed towards him, and gave him another full-force punch on the right side of his face.

Becky immediately threw a huge bird that caught Mason who was now in his human form by its peak and brought him to the walkway.

It hadn’t only been Mason and the twins who were with the golem, they also had a few others around, and when the golem made a move against Mason, it gave room for an opening for the others.
