129 A-rank

“What are you going to do?”

Melinda asked, staring at Raphael and Serena

The both of them were already making their way out of the training ground, with Serena really close to Raphael.

Elisa dug her nails into her palm as she watched the two in front of her. She had a displeased look on her face, and after a few seconds, she heaved a deep breath.

“The least I can do is ask if something is going on between him and Serena,” Elisa replied.

A nod came from Melinda after Elisa spoke. She then said.

“That’s the right thing to do. Even though the both of them know each other for a very long, and even share a close bond, It shouldn’t be to the extent of him placing his hand on her left bosom.”

When Elisa heard Melinda, a deep frown appeared on her face.

While the details of the discussion between Raphael and Serena were unknown, Elisa couldn’t think of any reason that would prompt Raphael’s hand to be on Serena’s bosom. To her, it was simply uncalled for.

Melinda moved closer to Elisa and placed her hand around her, “I know, it’s going to be difficult, but I think you should be prepared for the worst.”

“Raphael might be open to the idea of having an open relationship. After all, he did say, this is an adventure he would like to experience.” Melinda said.

Elisa’s eyelids trembled, she was about to retort to what had just been said when the door of the psychic domain was open and the others began to step out of it.

“There you’re I thought you left without me,” Becky exclaimed as soon as she saw Elisa.

She rolled her eyes, when it came in contact with Melinda, and then shifted her gaze to Elisa.

Elisa flashed a rough smile, “We were waiting for you.” Elisa responded.

She was about to walk forward when Becky suddenly held her hand. And with a confused expression on her face, Becky spoke.

“Is everything okay with you? Lucien said, you passed the training, so what’s wrong?”

Before Elisa would even respond to Becky, Melinda pulled Becky’s hand from Elisa. She then glared at Becky, “Why do you care so much, or Is it because you want to make that as a headline for your boy toy.”

There was disgust evident in Melinda’s eyes as she spoke to Becky.

A bone-chilling frown immediately appeared on Becky’s face.

Melinda was quick to transform her hand into a sword made of bones as soon as she saw Becky’s hands forming a fist. A battle was inevitable between the both of them, and as they wanted to launch at one another, Elisa came in between them.

“The both of you should just quit it!” Elisa yelled.

“Let’s put an end to this argument, and get this over with.” Elisa turned towards Becky, “Did you tell Jackson about Melinda’s uncle?” She asked.

And before Becky would respond, Elisa turned towards Melinda, “Why do you think it was Becky that told Jackson? Couldn’t he have found out some other way?”

“He has a bit of connection in the student council, you know. It’s also not like, it’s difficult to figure it out, the both of you have the same surname, and also look very much alike.” Elisa blurted.

Meanwhile, as Elisa tried to settle the dispute between her two friends, Bane, and Aiden had deep frown on their faces.

They had been hoping for a fight between Melinda and Becky. Because of the relationship between the both of them, Aiden and Bane were certain that no one was going to die.

So, a fight between them was definitely going to be exciting and unintentionally arousing. There was already an adrenaline rush that increased their heartbeat, but when Elisa intervene, the excitement died down real quick.

“Perverts. The both of you need help,” Camille muttered, as she walked past Bane and Aiden.

Bane had, of course, been called worse, so he didn’t take any of what Camille said to heart, but Aiden gulped.

He then dragged Bane away, and with Devon tagging along, the three of them headed back to the dormitory.

“To be honest, I already expected Dwayne to pass the training, but Naomi, I didn’t see it coming.”

As it turns out, apart from Raphael and Elisa who passed the training, Naomi, Martha, and Dwayne were also able to conquer the inner demons.

In Raphael’s room, Serena looked around the area with a bewildered look on her face.

She then began to move about the room and after a few seconds, she spoke, “It’s always amusing how you can construct this place into whatever space you want.”

The last time Serena was in the room, it was bombarded with all sorts of training equipment, and at the moment none of the equipment she had seen a few days ago was here.

Instead, the room was filled with his construction materials.

After glancing at the tools in the room for a few more seconds, Serena moved her gaze to the ring Raphael was wearing.

Her eyes flickered, and she said, “When are you going to create a ring for me?”

“Not going to happen,” Raphael replied.

Serena raised an eyebrow, “Eh, you keep saying that. You must think I can’t afford it, just name your price and who knows, I might even pay double what you want.” Serena said with a proud expression.

“It’s not about the price, I just don’t want to.”

When Serena heard Raphael’s response, she shook her head. She decided to urge it a little, but as the result was the same, she eventually gave up on it.

“So, what’s your rank now?” Serena inquired.

Raphael was seating on their chair in the room while Serena sat on the bed. And when Serena spoke, he wanted to respond, only to realize that he had no idea what rank he was at present.

Unlike most metahuman, Raphael wasn’t fond of the habit of constantly checking what his rank was.

He trained regularly and knowing that as the day went by he was coming stronger, it was enough for him. The last time he looked at the rank section on the m-watch, was last month.

So, when Raphael heard Serena, he couldn’t help but triple-tab the surface of the m-watch. As the rank status and all other growth statuses were shown, Raphael’s eyes twitched.

He had a neutral look on his face, and a few seconds later, he turned the watch off. Raphael then faced the curious Serena.

“So, what is it?” Serena asked again.

“A-rank,” Raphael responded.
