• Chapter Seven •

|H A L E ' S P O V|

When Hale and his pack first found out that his beta, Jared, was mated to a guy everyone was so shocked since it was very rare to see two people of the same gender mated to each other in his pack.

Some people accepted their beta who was mated to a male while other didn't and decided to leave the pack. No one really cared for those who decided to leave and just let them be.

Jared and Liam weren't bothered at all when they found out they were mates in fact they were already doing the dirtys after a week of knowing each other passed. They were on each other for three whole weeks that Hale had to literally burst into their s_x smelling room and force a very sweaty, and very naked Jared off of Liam, into clean clothes, and out of the room just so he could help with pack business.

His beta was very grumpy that day and Hale was very amused by how his serious and mature beta was acting like a five year old who was pulling a temper tantrum.

"You wouldn't understand." Is what Jared had told Hale that day when he kept pointing out how grumpy he had looked and it was true, Hale didn't understand.

Until today.

'YOU! LITTLE! PIECE! OF! SH_T!!!' Hale shouted furiously at Liam through their mind link.

It was probably two o'clock in the afternoon and Hale had been stressing all day about his mates whereabouts since he had been missing the second he left the bed the two had shared last night and it turned out that Liam had kidnapped him and taken him to the park.

Without f_cking telling him.

'Stop shouting at me.' Liam whined, wanting to go to Jared for comfort but Liam was no where near the pack house and instead was with Ethan who was rolling around in the grass without a care in the world.

'LIAM! F_CKING! THOMPSON! IF MY MATE ISN'T BACK IN TEN SECONDS I'M SENDING YOUR A_S STRAIGHT TO MEXICO!!!' Hale snapped threateningly.

Liam gasped in horror.

The boy knew that Hale would send him to Mexico with no hesitation. He wouldn't have mind since it was basically a vacation to Mexico that was all payed for him but he knew that Hale wouldn't allow Jared to come with him.

And living in Mexico with no Jared to have some fun time with is something Liam can't live without.

'I need more then ten seconds Hale. We're all the way on the other side of town.' Liam explained as he watches as the omega begun taking interest in a butterfly which was flying above him 'C-Can't I bring him back in and hour or two?' Liam asked hesitantly.

'DO YOU WANT A PLANE TICKET TO MEXICO!?' Hale shouted.

'N-No.' Liam stuttered.

"WELL THERES YOUR F_CKING ANSWER!' Liam whined at the loud tone Hale used.

'B-But Hale.' Liam says softly. 'Ethan is having so much fun, I don't want to ruin it.' Ethan was now playfully nipping at the butterfly that fluttered above his head.

'Liam f_cking Thompson!' Hale growled lowly which made Liam want to wet himself. 'If he isn't here in five seconds I'm going to buy that stupid ticket and send you to Mexico where you'll live for the rest of your life!" Hale shouted angrily.

'I-I cant get back to the house in five seconds Hale, t-that's physically impossible. It'll take at least an hour or something.' Liam stuttered shakily, mentally prepaeing his speech for Jared. It was called-

Don't do anything wrong while I'm gone.

His first couple of sentences were:

'If anyone touches you I'll tear off their arms. If anyone kisses you I'll rip off their face. If anyone f_cks you I'll rip out your eyes and then we can have angry s_x.'

'Your lucky I'm feeling nice today.' Liam hope rised ever so slightly. 'So I'll give you fifteen minutes.' Liams hope instantly deflated.

'How about twenty minutes?' Liam bargained.

'Did I just hear you say you want ten minutes?' Hale asked with a sinister grin.

'No. No. No. F-Fifteen is good.' Liam chuckled nervously. 'I'll see you in fifteen minutes Hale. Bye!' Liam quickly shut off the link.

"One day I'm going to send your mate to mexico Jared!" Hale promised as he glared at his beta who had been silently signing off papers.

The two had a shared office since their current house only had one office but when Hale is giving the Alpha title his parent will give him the pack house and then the two will then have their own offices.

"What did he do this time?" Jared mumbled, knowing how much of a troublemaker his mate was.

"He practically kidnapped my mate early in the f_cking morning and I didn't find out till now!" Hale exclaimed angrily. "I looked all over the d_mn house and I couldn't find him anywhere so I assumed he left but it turned out your little mate stole him from me while I having a shower!" Hale spat out the word 'mate' with so much hatred.

"Maybe you should've locked your bedroom door." Jared shrugged as he continued working.

"It was locked! Liam came in through the window!" Jared just chuckled at how smart his mate was.

Ten minutes had passed and Liam still wasn't back yet and with every passing second Hale felt this need to run his hands through his mates dark gray fur or cuddle him until they fell asleep.

He just wanted his mate back.

"One day I'm going to kill Liam." Hale grumbled, wanting to feel his mate.

"He can be handful sometimes." Jared agreed with a chuckle. "Maybe sending Liam to Mexico is a good idea." Jared joked before a gasped was heard from the door to their office.

"You did not just say that." Liam sneered as he glared at his mate

"C'mere." Jared smiled as he opened up his arms for his mate who just flicked out his middle finger at him.

"Wheres Ethan?" Hale asked. Liam opened his mouth to reply but Ethan came through the door, limping excitedly to Hale. "Hey pup." Hale cooed as he stroked the wolfs ear who left out a whine of appreciation.

Ethan was able to walk around its just he had to limp everywhere since his hind legs were still healing.

"Did you have fun with Liam?" Ethan barked happily before jumping onto Hales lap where he curled up into a tiny ball. "How about you Liam? How was your day." Hale asked in low voice which made Liam jump into his mates lap.

"G-Good." Liam stuttered.

"Do you think you'll have fun at Mexico?" Hale smirked.

"I don't want to go to Mexico!" Liam cried into the crook of his mates neck.

"Well today is your lucky day. You got here with five minutes to spear." Hale stated as he ran his hands through his mates fur.

Oh, how he loved the feeling of his mate fur even if it still needed to be groomed properly.

"Really?" Liam asked in shock.

"Yup."

"Oh thank god." Liam sighed as he basically melted into his mates lap. "Anyways Hale. I've been thinking about what you said yesterday, about how you needed help teaching Ethan how to shift. Well I was thinking it would be best if we wait for Ethans legs to heal fully so he has enough strength to be able to shift since he'll be in a lot of pain afterwards." Liam suggested.

"It is probably best that we wait." Hale agreed as Ethan playfully chewed on his fingets. "But once his legs are healed we're going straight to training." Liam nodded his head.

"So what are you two doing anyways?" Liam asked.

"Sighing papers." Jared and Hale answered in unison.

"How boring." Liam huffed before jumping off of Jareds lap and laying on one of the leather chairs in the shared office. "By the way I bumped into Lucy while we were at the park this morning." Jared tensed at the mention of the girls name.

"Did she give you any trouble?" Jared asked concernly.

"No." Liam answered carelessly. "She just gave me the usual stare of hatred."

"C'mon you guys. Lucy isn't that bad." Hale defended since the girl was his younger sister.

Lucy Wilson wasn't just Hales younger sister but she was also a homophobe. When she heard about Jared and Liam being mates she didn't hide the fact that she dislike the couple. She mostly picked on Liam since Jared was the soon-to-be beta of their pack.

"Lucy isn't that bad!?" Jared asked in disbelief. "She slapped Liam in the face!" Jared pointed out making Liam huff while he crossed his arms together.

"I would've done the same thing to her but someone decided to stop me." Liam grumbled as he glared at Hale.

"Shes a girl."

"And I'm a boy and this is a chair." He stated as he pointed at the chair he sat on. "Stop stating the obvious Hale."

"Listen." Hale sighed. "I know Lucy can be-"

"A b_tch?"

"A meanie?"

"A bully?"

"Bark!" Ethan smiled happily as his tail wagged frim side to side.

"Yeah. What he said." Liam agreed with the wolf.

"Your all wrong." Hale stated. "I was going to say hard headed."

"Close enough." Liam mumbled with a shrug.

"Anyways. I know that Lucy can be a little hard headed but she'll come around soon enough and if she doesn't then she has the choice whether she wants to stay or leave when she turns eighteen." Hale explained which seemed to slightly ease the two boys.

"Just wait until she finds out that your mated to a guy." Jared snorted as he continued sighing off papers.

"Just wait until his parents finds out that he's mated to a guy." Liam laughed which made Hale gulp.

"Bark!"
