"Slow down, Cowboy. You're going to start choking if you keep eating so fast like that." Liam chuckled while the other man, who Ethan later found out was named Jared, watch silently as Ethan stuffed his mouth with as much food as possible.

After Jared had saved Ethan from the tree he had gotten himself stuck in Liam went off to his house to grab some clothe for Jared before putting some clothe on himself, he then cooked all the meat in the house - which was basically everything in their fridge - before coming back to give Ethan the food and Jared his clothes.

Ethan knew he shouldn't be trusting the two humans so easily since they could have slipped poison into his food, but it wasn't his fault for letting his guards down so quickly when they mention food.

He was just really hungry.

"Do you think in the future his cause of death would be by chocking on food?" Liam asked Jared which made the taller male chuckle.

Ethan had noticed a little while ago that the couples scent were both mixed with one another which slightly confused Ethan since he's never met people who had their scent mixed together.

He would've assumed that they were sibling but siblings scents weren't mixed they just smelt similar to each other and besides Liam had blonde hair and blue eyes while Jared had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"Do you think there's something wrong with him?" Liam asked Jared after thinking that Ethan was distracted by stuffing his face. "I mean he smells like a werewolf but he seemed so confused when I shifted."

"Maybe his pack are old school and think shifting is unnatural." Jared mocked. "But then again he doesn't smell like he belongs to a pack."

"Yeah." Liam agreed before he looked at the skinny wolf. "Look at him he's so small and frail. He would have had no chance against us if we had attacked him."

That was the only reason the couple had come to Ethan's rescue. They had originally planned to scare Ethan away since he had accidentally ran to close to their territory but when they noticed Ethan was getting chased by two bears they had decided to help the small wolf instead.

"Hurry up little guy," Liam says suddenly. "Our Alpha will be back soon and I don't think he'll be very happy seeing you around."

Ethan obeyed Liam commands and ate a little faster than before and in time no time he was finished.

"You should get going," Liam advised.

Ethan nodded his head but before he left he trotted towards Liam and gave his cheek a long lick, which received a chuckle before he moved onto Jared and doing the same which earned a grunt in response.

Ethan gave the pair a small bark of gratitude before he trotted away. Liam waved goodbye to the small wolf before he and Jared turned around as well so that the could walk back to their house.

"He's such a cutie." Liam cooed making Jared growl angrily. "Someones a little jealous." Liam chuckled with a smug look in his eyes.

"I'm not jealous." Jared grumbled which earned another chuckle from Liam "Anyways, Hale and Alison will be back soon," Jared mumbled, changing the subject.

"Ugh. Alison." Liam sneered.

"Hey, Hale what color do you think suits me better?" Alison asked, forcing the mentioned male to look away from the scenery outside the car window and towards his fiance who was holding up two dresses that looked exactly the same up to her chest. "The blush pink one or the light pink one?"

"I don't know," Hale muttered disinterestedly. "The one on the left I guess," He shrugged before continuing to stare outside the car window.

Hale and Alison had just arrived back home from England after spending an entire month there. During their month there Alison had spent her shopping and sightseeing while Hale was secretly visiting packs after pack in search of his mate who he was desperately trying to find.

"The left one?" She asked with a look of dissatisfaction as her eyes drifted towards the light pink dress. "I prefer the blush pink one." She stated as she threw the light pink dress back into the bag before looking at the blush pink colored dress.

"Whatever," Hale mumbled in boredom.

"Sound a little interested would you?" Alison scoffed. "We're getting married soon so you sound be treating your fiance and future mother of our children like a queen." This time it was Hale's turn to scoff.

If you haven't noticed yet Hale loathed his fiance she was so annoying and whiny - if she didn't have something she wanted she would always complain and throw a fit until she got what she wanted. Another thing Hale hated about Alison was her sour milk scent which was mixed with a very expense perfume that smelt like sh*t.

Trust me when I say sour milk mixed with perfume does not smell good together.

Now, some of you may be wondering 'why was he marrying someone he doesn't love?' Well, the answer to that question is his father- a man who had no patience and the man who was the current Alpha of the Moon Valley Pack. The reason he had forced his son into an arranged marriage was because he wanted to retire from being the Pack's Alpha and the only way for him to be able to retire from being the Alpha was when his son had a child so that, that child could take over the Pack for when Hale wanted to retire but Hale hadn't found his mate yet and didn't have a child so being the person that he is - he forced his son into an arranged marriage and basically told him to give him a child right after the wedding.

"Driver. Can you pull over." Hale ordered suddenly. The driver did as told, pulling off to the side of the road before softly pushing onto the brake.

"Why? What's going on? Are you planning to kill me and dump my body here?" Alison giggled making Hale roll his eyes as he let out a sarcastic laugh.

That was such an overused saying.

"No. I'm just going for a quick run," Hale mumbled as he begins to get out the car.

"I'll come along t-" Before Alison could finish her sentence she was interrupted by Hale.

"I'd rather go alone Alison," Hale stated.

Alison opened her mouth to protest but Hale just slammed his door shut before he banged the top of the roof of the car a couple of time. Hale watch silently as the car drove off with his fiance inside before he let out a sigh of relief.

Finally. Some fresh air.

Hale waited for the car to be completely out of sight before he took off all of his clothing and shifted into his pitch black wolf. His muscles were a bit stiff since he hadn't shifted at all in England so he had to stretch out his limbs a little before he was finally able to take off running through the forest and towards his house.

Hale ignored everything around him and focused on the air brushing past his dark-colored fur and the sound of the wind rushing past. He was so happy that he didn't have Alison running with him since she would've been complaining about things that didn't really need to complained about.

About halfway back to his house, Hale decided to take a detour and visit the pond so that he could have a few more minutes of freedom and a few more minutes away from his soon-to-be wife.

When he arrived at the pond he made his way towards the water where he lapped at it absentmindedly but while he was enjoying the water he could feel a pair of eyes on him so he looked up to see what was staring at him.

When he looked across the other side of the pond he saw a dark gray wolf looking at him with his head tilted to one side in curiosity. It was obvious that the wolf had swum across since his fur was wet and had droplets of water dripping onto the ground.

'What is a wolf doing so close to our pack?' Hales wolf, Wayne, asked.

'Who knows.' Hale mumbled as he kept his eyes connected with the wolf, making sure he doesn't make an attempt to come any closer to Hales pack.

'Try scaring him off.' Wayne suggested.

'Okay.'

Hale barked at the wolf on the other side of the pond which made him jump slightly at the sudden sound. Hale growled before unleashing another bark which made the other wolf whine as he quickly turned around and ran away with his tail in between his leg

Hale smirked at how he was able to scare the wolf away easily before he turned around so that he could head back to his house.

After returning back to his house he walked through the wide opened door and trotted upstairs and into his room where he shifted and then started changing into some clothes. After putting some pants on Hale grabbed one of his shirts and begun buttoning it up but as soon as he had begun his door slammed open with a loud bang.

"Hey, baby!" Alison smiled widely before placing a wet kiss on Hales' lips.

"What are you doing here Alison? Shouldn't you be at your own pack." Hale grumbled as he buttoned up the remaining buttons before walking out of his room and to the kitchen.

"I told the driver to bring me here instead so that I could spend some time with my mate." Alison giggled.

"We're not mate's Alison. We're simply engaged." Hale corrected as he opened up the fridge in search of bacon.

"They're basically the same thing." Alison huffed as she crossed her arms across her almost flat chest.

"Sure," Hale responded sarcastically before he noticed that there was no sign of bacon or meat in the fridge. "Hey! Where's all the meat!?" Hale shouted.

"Jared ate it all!" Liam shouted from the living room.

"What the hell Liam!?" Jared shouted in shock.

Hale sighed angrily before deciding on making himself a peanut butter and jam sandwich.

"That fat pig. He's doing this week's shopping." Hale mumbled underneath his breath.

"I'm bored Hale," Alison whined as she twirled a strand of her hair around her fingers.

"Here," Hale says as he threw his card at Alison carelessly. "Go shopping or something."

Alison didn't need to be told twice as she let out a squeal before jumping out of her chair and giving Hale another wet kiss before taking a large bite out of his sandwich, trying to appear cute but only appearing annoying before finally running out the door.

"Sure! You can have my sandwich. I wasn't hungry anyway." Hale voice was laced with sarcasm as he opened the trash can and dropping his Alison infested sandwich into it.

Hale sighed before walking into the living room where his beta, Jared, and his beta's mate, Liam, sat cuddling on the couch watching a movie. Hale was going to ignore the couple and sit down on an empty couch but stopped when he caught a wonderful scent coming off from the two.

'Our mate was here!' Wayne shouted excitedly.

'And she was with them.' Hale growled before jumping onto the two.

"What the hell man!?" Jared grunted when Hale pounced onto him and his mate before he started sniffing them.

"I can smell her," Hale growled as he sniffed Liam's cheek. "She all over you two!"

"Who weirdo!?" Liam asked as he pushed Hale away from him so that he couldn't come any closer to him.

"My mate. I can smell her all over you two!" Hale felt like rubbing his head all over Liam since her scent was coming off of him more but he knew he would've gotten a high five to the face with a fist that belonged to Jared since Liam was his mate.

"What are you talking about we've been at home all day-" Jared stopped midway during his sentence before making eye contact with his mate who looked at him with confusion before gasping in realization.

"Where is she!?" Hale shouted impatiently.

"Hale. Your mate isn't a sh-" Jared quickly stopped Liam from talking by wrapping his large hands around his mouth.

"Your mate went up north," Jared answered.

"I've got to go." Hale didn't wait for a response as he ran for the door while shifting before running straight into the forest.

"Why didn't you let me tell him, Jared?" Liam asked when Jared finally released his hand from his mouth.

"I thought it would be best if he found out himself."
