[Remaking/Not Completed] Abandoned (Boy×Boy)
|E T H A N ' S P O V|
Ethan only had one thought in his mind and that was:
Run.
He knew that the bears were right up his tail so he made sure he didn't lose his balance or hit any trees that were in his way.
'What should we do!?' Ethan asked the voice inside his head as he heard the bears snapping their large teeth at him.
'I don't know!' The voice exclaimed. 'Maybe we should just give up and let the bears eat us.' The voice mumbled miserably.
Ignoring what the voice said, Ethan rolled his eyes at the unhelpful voice before deciding to pick up his speed. The two large mammals didn't seem to be losing as much stamina as Ethan was and so he knew that they weren't going to be giving up anytime soon-but neither was Ethan.
CRACK! BOOM!
Ethan jumped a little at the sudden sound of lightning booming in the air. When he looked up at the sky he noticed that the sky was now covered in dark gray clouds which had rain starting to pour from them.
Ethan knew he could lose the bear now since the rain would easily cover up his scent and wash away his tracks so Ethan looked behind him to see how close the bears were. They were just a couple of steps away from digging their sharp teeth into Ethan's precious little booty. So after one last deep breath, Ethan pushed himself over his limits and ran at a rapid speed - most likely using up the last bit of energy he had left.
The bears were shocked at the sudden speed coming from the small wolf but they tried to seem unfazed and uncaring as they tried to keep up with their meal. Unfortunately for them they couldn't since Ethan was making random turns at random times so that the bears would get confused and agitated. When the finally bears grew tired his fast pace started getting slower and slower until they eventually gave up and stopped running so that they could catch their breath.
Once Ethan was unable to see the two large bears he let out a happy howl knowing he wasn't going to become dinner.
BOOM! CRACK!
Ethan yelped in fright when he heard the sound of lightning before everything suddenly hit him like a ton of bricks. The adrenaline that was once pumping through his veins vanished as if it were nonexistent making him feel the aftermath of using up all of his energy while he had no food in his stomach.
He felt ten times worse than he had felt a few hours ago, and he was feeling a little light headed. He had to take a few wobbly steps in order to regain his posture since he didn't want to willingly fall face first onto the ground. After a few short seconds, and a small shake of his head, Ethan decided to look for shelter so he could hide from the rain and so he could block out the sound of lightning.
After walking for what felt like hours, Ethan finally found a cozy looking cave to sleep in for the night. He walked inside and he sniffed around to see if anyone was inside the cave or if anyone was occupying it. Fortunately for him, he didn't smell any other animals scent except for his own and a dead, rotting carcass that was discarded in the back corner of the cave.
'I guess its rotten deer for dinner.' Ethan mumbled in his head before walking towards the dead deer and eating what was left of the corpse.
'I wonder whats for dessert.' The voice snickered.
After eating all of the edible meat off of the deer Ethan felt a little bit better, and a little bit sick so he decided to sleep it off and hope that in the morning he would feel better. He curled himself into a tiny ball before closing his eyelids and just like that, the wolf was asleep.
- Time Skip -
'Come back here Mr. Bunny. I promise I won't eat you I just want you to have a look inside my mouth.' Ethan mumbled in his sleep 'Come back Mr. Bunny!'
In Ethan's dream, he was chasing a blue bunny who had jumped into a bush to hide away from Ethan. Ethan smirked to himself as he trotted towards the purple bush before dropping into a pouncing position.
Ethan let out a growly bark at the bush waiting for the blue bunny to jump out so that he could sink his teeth into it, but instead of a cute blue bunny jumping out of the bush, it was a very large and angry bear.
'Oh cra-' Before Ethan could finish his sentence the bear pounced at Ethan and ate his head whole.
'Ahhhh!' Ethan jumped awake as a strangled bark left his lips, his eyes were wide and flickering around the cave as his heart beat against his chest violently. It took him a few short seconds for his heart to calm down before he laid back down with a tired sigh.
'What a dream.' He groaned. 'It felt so real-'
Grrr~!
Ethan little body tensed when he knew the sound wasn't coming from his stomach but from something behind him. He slowly stood up from the ground before turning around to see the same two bears from yesterday.
'I think you're in their cave.' The voice whispered.
'Why are you whispering? It's not like anyone can hear you.' Ethan pointed out in a normal tone.
'Shut up.' The voice whispered.
The bear growled at Ethan who instantly started to back away as he gulped nervously. Both bears walked tauntingly slow towards Ethan who moved backward but when Ethan accidentally stepped on a twig it triggered the bears and they pounced at Ethan who quickly dodged their attack before making a run for the exit.
'Again with the running and the chasing.' The voice groaned. 'Can't we all just be friends and braid each other's furs or something?' The voice asked in boredom.
'Do me a favor and shut up.' Ethan hissed before focusing on running away.
The bears were snapping their teeth at Ethan every time they thought they were close enough to bite into his skin but thankfully they keep missing and would only nip at his fur or the air.
'I don't feel so good.' Ethan groaned after a few minutes passed of non-stop running.
'Really? Because I feel fantastic in here.' The voice teased.
Ethan was about to shout at him when he suddenly felt last night dinner beginning to rise up in his throat. He skidded to a halt before he turned around and emptied his stomach
All over the bears' fur.
'We are definitely not braiding each other's furs anymore.' The voice said.
The bears were now livid as their growls echoed throughout the forest. They shook out their furs to try to get rid of most of the chunky mess Ethan had left to them before they stalked towards Ethan, who gulped and started moving backward, praying to the moon goddess to save him.
It seemed that the moon goddess heard his prayers when he suddenly saw two unusually large wolves jump over his crouching form and in front of the bears where they began snarling and snapping at them warningly. This made the bears angry so they growled right back at wolves who had decided to randomly turn up.
While the wolves and bears had their staring contest Ethan tried to walk away without being unnoticed only to be noticed when he accidentally stood on his own tail which forced out a yelp from his lips.
All four heads snapped towards Ethan's who looked like a deer caught in headlights before he snapped out of his trance. He hurriedly ran up a nearby tree before jumping inside a rather small hole that was big enough for him to squeeze in before he popped his head out to see that the bears had made an attempt to get to Ethan only for one of the wolves to jump in his way and growl at him.
This angered the bear so he growled back and just like that both sides were on each other using their teeth and claws on their opponent with no remorse. However, it was blatantly obvious that the wolves were winning since they were able to get more hits and throws on the bears while the bears were only just lucky if they were even able to get a small scratch on them.
The fight soon ended after the two wolves growled in sync which made Ethan's eyes widen from how loud the two wolves growls were. Even the bears seemed quite surprised and a little frightened from the volume of their growls. The bears tried their best to growl louder than the wolves, but their growls were only heard in the ear of the deaf. The wolves growl was overpowering and loud. Once the bears finally figured that out they both looked at each other shakily before they quickly turned around and ran for the hills.
The wolves were panting slightly as they watch the bears run away before turning their attention towards Ethan who was still in his tree. The small wolf was going to yip at them as a sign of thank when suddenly one of the wolves bone started cracking and his fur begun to disappear.
Ethan couldn't help but watch with concern for the wolf who had saved his life since the sound of his bone cracking sounded painful and the sudden loss of fur scared him but after a little while, Ethan then realized that the wolf wasn't a wolf at all but instead a two-legged human.
The last time Ethan had encountered a human he was at a dog park. He was trying to play with the other dogs but the humans started screaming and shouting when they saw him and eventually one of the humans a police uniform shot him in the legs a couple of times which made Ethan run back into the forest.
He doesn't like humans.
They're scary.
Ethan let out a scared whimper as he curled deeper into the tree hoping the weird human would walk away and leave him inside.
But they didn't.
"Aren't you going to say thank you?" The human asked as he poked his head through the hole Ethan was hiding in. "After all, we did save your life."
"You're scaring him, Liam!" Another human hissed.
"Am not!" Liam stated stubbornly.
"Move out the way." Liam stepped aside as another man walked in front of Ethan's only escape. The man grabbed ahold of Ethan scruff, lifting him up with ease before removing him from the tree he was hiding in and then placing him on the ground.
"So kid, are you hungry?" Liam asked.
Grrr~!
This time it was definitely Ethan's stomach that made that noise.
