Chapter 24

The Moore-Perez Family

The Rich And Not Spoiled: A Christmas Special

In the spur of the moment, Stella and I decided to book a trip to Paris. Well, I had no part in the decision, she surprised me with tickets.

For all of us to go.

When she woke me up and told me, I was honestly in shock because no matter how many times I tell my wife to stop spending money on things she always says. "I'd do it over and over again if it makes you smile."

I admit it makes me feel loved in so many ways but we honestly would've been fine in England until the holidays passed us.

Our kids, on the other hand, were all too ecstatic to know we were off to France for a few days.

Seeing their excitement I couldn't be mad at my wife, if our kids were happy, I was happy too.

So we packed up some stuff enough for a few days and felt for France. We've even been here for a few hours and are already so busy.

We're staying in the exact same hotel we stayed in when Stella proposed to me and it brought back so many memories but the place had changed a lot.

And this time when we stayed here, we had interconnecting rooms. Stella and I got our own room while the kids got a room next to ours with a door in between so the girls could come and go as they pleased.

Noah on the other hand, because he's still quite small, he's got a cot right next to our bed.

While being in Paris so far has been amazing and we've already reminisced so much, getting the kids ready for the day wasn't easy.

They got way too excited and it felt like they were feeding off each other's energy. I'm just thankful there's a kids club here that has an array of things for them to do that'll hopefully tire them out.

"Nat hold my hand," Stella said while we walked.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because you're going to get lost," Stella said patiently.

"Okay," Natalia sighed and held onto Stella's hand.

"Mommy, what are we gonna do at the kids club?" Emi asked me.

"Well, lots of things like paint and maybe build things," I said to her.

"Can we keep them?" She asked.

"I'm sure you can baby," I said as we finally got there.

The room was large with so many things. A finger painting table, a sand play area, and a fully equipped ball pit which seemed to be the attraction for all the kids.

"Okay, you guys—" Stella started but both the girls ran off with excitement before she could finish talking.

"Emilia et Natalia, revenez ici," I spoke to them in French before they could get far.

(translation: Emilia and Natalia, come back.)

"Oui," both girls said softly and walked back.

"Mamá wasn't don't talking and you both off before we could say anything," I said to them.

"Sorry mamá," they said simultaneously.

Stella just smiled and raised an eyebrow at me like she'd been doing for years.

She bent down to their level and started talking again. "I just wanted to tell you both to have fun and don't cause any trouble." She told them.

"Okay," they responded.

Stella wrapped her arms around them and kissed them both goodbye. "Te quiero." She said.

"Te quiero mucho." The girls responded and then fully ran off.

Noah waddled behind them just as much but not before getting in a hundred-and-one kiss from us.

We waited to see if any of them would turn back but none of them did so we left and went out to enjoy our day.

My fingers clasped around hers as we walked down the street together.

"Let's go out to dinner tonight," Stella said

"Where to?" I asked her softly.

"A surprise," she said and kissed the back of my hand. "Somewhere simple."

"A Perez simple is never simple." I smiled at her.

"Of course not," she said and wrapped her arms around me. "My wife deserves more than simple so a Perez simple will have to do." She said.

I blushed at her words and she pressed a kiss to my cheek. "Okay, I like the idea of us going out," I responded.

"Good, it's a date then." She said.

"It's a date," I giggled back to her.
