Chapter 13: The man over the Phone

Suddenly he heard a weak sound with a big sobbing and touching tone. It sounded very familiar to him. Wasn’t it…the voice of the original owner…of this body? But looking around the classroom, he didn’t see anyone. Then he realized what he was looking for.

It was funny. Li Qinghao wrapped his head with both hands, leaning against the chair. Wasn’t the one he was trying to look for was literally the current him?

He rubbed his head. He never believed any transmigration stuff but it was a fact that his soul was now in another person’s body.

“Qinghao.” Someone was knocking at the desk.

“Yes?” He looked at the shrot-haired girl with his head tilted before him. She was shy and good looking with a pair of big and clear eyes. Maybe because she rarely spoke with boys, she blushed just when speaking to Li Qinghao.

“My name…My name is Yang Ziyan.” Yang Ziyan said, “I heard that you have lost your memory. So…So…”

“So?”

“So…I am commissary in charge of studies now. Do you…Do you need any help?”

Li Qinghao was not familiar with the name but he had impression on her.

He took out his phone and played with it. Pictures flashed before his eyes. And finally he dialed a string of numbers.

The phone was picked up quickly, “Who is it?” The deep voice was exceptionally comfortable for Li Qinghao.

“Guess.” He joked.

“It is expensive to play a game with me.” The man over the phone was obviously patient.

“I can afford it.” Li Qinghao chuckled.

“It’s even more expensive to play a guessing game with me.”

“It can’t be more expensive than my life.” Besides, he had already lost his life.

“No more than five persons know this phone number in the world.”

“So am I one of the five?” Li Qinghao smiled.

“I know a young man who acts like you.” The man thought for a while and then continued, “but you don’t sound like him.”

“I don’t think you would judge a man by his voice.” At least not the man over the phone.

“You…” The man on the other side went silent.

“When I saved your lover during operation, you promised that you would never turn me down when I need help even at the cost of your life.” Li Qinghao smiled even harder.

“You…”

“I’m Han Mingxu.”

“Impossible.”

“You know it.” Li Qinghao was sure that he would believe him.

“We need to meet.”

“No. Not now.”

“I am not very clear. But can you tell me if anyone has ever contacted you under my name in these two years?”

“It is my biggest honor to be friends with you. And please find information about Li Ka for me.” He hung up on the phone before the man gave an answer and walked to the man by the car.
