chapter 72

Sadhvi's pov:

Amidst all the traffic we reached our new home in half an hour.....

It is looking like a big apartments.....it looking extravagant.

I looked towards him to say why did he buy in this extravagant locality.

I mean I am from middle class family,I know the importance of money.......what is the need to waste it like this.....

I agree I will definitely like this apartment......just the surroundings are so beautiful with few trees and a small garden.

I stopped myself saying my thoughts...because he took efforts finding such a beautiful place.

"Come let's go out."he said.

I nodded and got out of the car.

He gave the car keys and some money to watchman saying help him bringing the luggage to our apartment.

He noises saying

"You go sir.....I will manage myself."

He assured us that we would bring the luggage.

Siddarth suddenly hold my hands and started walking.

He literally dragging me into the lift.

Why can't he just be vocal about things.....

He pressed 6th floor button.

After few minutes we reached our floor.

The loft door opened......

We got out......he still didn't left my hand and walked towards our room.

I silently followed him.......we walked to the end of the corridor and there was a door.

I mean I really liked the location.....I like quite places even though I may not be quite always.....

He took the keys from his pocket and opened the lock.

There we entered into our new home together......holding hands ....

I am finding it extremely pleasing to my heart.

He showed around for me and then went downstairs to give a hand to helper.

It is not so spacious and also not so congested. It was just right for both of us.

The whole apartment had the light peach colour painted over the walls.

I like light colours more.....cause I feel it looks elegant , dignified and also gentle.

Living room is almost the size of our dorm room.

It has a big television fitted to the wall which is furnished and also few decorative items were arranged.

And an L- shaped grey sofa in the middle of the living room.....

I just wanted tojump on its soon as I saw it.

Coming to kitchen.....it is a straight kitchen which is well equipped already with all the appliances.

Dining room had a huge glass dining table with 8 chairs.....

Why did he brought such a big table for us.....we are only 2 right?

I moved to the bedroom.....it had a king sized bed with a headboard.I think my sleep is already inviting me seeing this.

There is no closet like back at Siddharth's room but had cupboard s which are quite sufficient for both of us.

I opened the bathroom door only to gasp......it is almost the size of a room.

It has a jacuzzi and also a shower room.

There were few shelves for our daily essentials.

I moved to the other room.

It is empty without any furniture......

I wonder why is it empty?

Just then Siddarth came along with helper and all our luggage.

He kept all the bags at the corner of our bedroom.

He gave another note to the helper.

Helper said thankyou for giving extra money and left us.

I looked around awkwardly.....

What should we do now?

'May be just hug eachother' my inner voice said.

'why are you behaving like a horny woman...just stop it'i scolded myself.

It was already 3:30 I didn't even had lunch as j wasbusy in this shifting stuff.

Just I was about to ask him about lunch.....my stomach grumbled.

I held my stomach immediately.

Did he heard it?

Why won't he....the room is so silent.....

I looked at him to see him already looking at me .

I cleared my throat and said

"What about our lunch?"

"Hey...I really forgot about that.

Come why don't we go and grab our lunch at a restaurant?" He said.

I nodded my head immediately.

Did he think I am gonna cook now.....I am totally deprived of energy right now.

"Wait for 5 minutes I will change." I said.

He nodded.

I went to my bags and took a red kurthi randomly and then fastly bushed my hair properly.

I don't want to look like a joker behind him.

He took the car keys and then we went to the restaurant.

I recognized it ....it was where we both first met.

To be honest we never mentioned about this after our marriage.

I looked at him....even he was looking at me.

"I think you know this is where we first met?" He asked.

I had a smile adorned on my lips....

"Yeah....I remember that." I said dreamily.

Of course how will I forget that ....I was crushing on him from that day.

"Ok....come now let's have a feast." He said getting out of car.

We both walked towards the cabins and then a waiter came.

We ordered butter naan and paneer butter masala....

I wanted to eat chicken biryani.....

Who doesn't want but I controlled myself.

Today is auspicious as we moved to a new home.I remembered a ritual that it done while that.....

As a Hindu.....we believe we should not perform any Poona after eating no veg.

Our order came very quickly.

I ate so fastly as if the food is running away.

"There is enough food.Eat slowly." He said.

I slowed down as I don't want to embarrass myself.

We payed the bill and reached near parking area.

"Siddarth....we have to go to a supermarket." I said.

He nodded and pointed towards the supermarket across the road.

I smiled in response and we both went there.

I grabbed a cart and started moving towards the groceries.

I took all the essential vegetables,spices,masala powders,pulses,atta and all the stuff necessary for cooking.

I am not so good cook.....I cooked very rarely.But my mom says I look well as it doesn't happen taste bad and I need some practice.

Now I can practice as much as I want.

We can't always war out right?

After that I brought few toiletries,body lotion, moisturizer..... suddenly o remembered that my sanitary napkins were out of stock.

I was hesitant as he was just walking behind me.....I am feeling shy.

Iwan I have never talked with others regarding the female issues...even with the girls too.

I feel shy in that matters as I was brought up by a very conservative parents.

I turned to see him...he was randomly looking around.

I just grabbed a pack of sanitary napkins and placed in cart.

"Siddarth.....it's completed....let's bill them"I said.

He nodded and took the cart with him saying to wait me at the counter.

After nearly 20 mins he came out with two plastic bags in his hands.

"We even need to buy few things for home." He said.

I nodded my head immediately.....I really like organising house.....

We kept the shopping bags in car at started our journey to a house decor shop.

I like innovative or we can say different things a lot.

I looked around the shop for nearly one and half hour and brought many things.....

When it was the time to bill I was again thinking.....

Did he had enough money with him right now.....I brought many things in supermarket as well as here.

But he just took the things to billing counter and came back with the shopping bags.

We sat in the car......

I was all silent.

"Did I buy too many things.....I mean I didn't mean to buy all of them......I was really excited about our new home that I didn't realized I brought much stuff." I was blabbering.

He chuckled softly and said

"I have enough money to buy as many things you want."

" I know dad can give us money......but I know you don't like to take their money,I am sorry for spending a lot." I said apologetically.

" Yeah....you are right.I don't take money from dad. I did many part time jobs from my teenage that I saved money.

To be honest ....I brought our apartment with that money itself....so don't feel sorry you have rights to spend your husband's money as it is automatically yours too." He said sincerely.

What he brought that apartment with his earnings.....I thought dad helped him

I think he is independent man......wow he is so admirable.

I am lucky to have him as my life partner.

After we reached our home......I went to kitchen and took a utensil and poured all the milk in it and switch on the stove.

After few minutes the milk overflowed.....I quickly turned of the stove.

Siddarth was looking at me weirdly....

"Why did you make such a mess here." He said looking at the milk all over the counter.

"It is a tradition.We do that when we move to a new home.

To be honest I don't know what it means and all but it is done....my mom said once." I said.

He nodded his head and said he will rest in bedroom.

I cleaned all the mess I made in the kitchen and also organised the groceries in the shelves.....vegetables in refrigerator.

I am now full on work mode....so I arranged the decor items too on the hall and dining room.

I went to the bedroom to see Siddarth sleeping peacefully.

I walked silently towards our luggage bags and took out all the clothes and arranged our clothes properly in the wardrobe.

Now I am quite tired......I looked around to search a place to rest.

There was no couch in bedroom like back at home.....so having no choice I layed down on the other side of bed silently me drifted into sleep really quickly.....
