Siddarth 's pov :

I said OK for marriage.

I think my friends will laugh at me.... As they always thought me as a misogynist.

Any way it is not the time to think about all these things.

As if on queue

My mom said "Mom...my childhood friend Sudha always teased about a girl. Even I liked her after listening about her shall we ask for her hand for marriage. "

Grandma  said "Ok"

My mom took her phone and left to make a call.

After 15 minutes she came.

She said "The girl's name is Sadhvi.

Her father is Ramesh. And mother Jyothi. Her father runs a small business. They belong to middle class family. She has a little brother.

And about education.... She is completed 2nd year MBBS. Oh she will be 20 soon. "

I think my grandma liked her. She had a smile on her face.

My dad had a frown on his brows

He asked "What is his name? I mean the father. "

Mom said "Ramesh"

My dad said "I think he is my friend.... They are from sudha 's town only right ? "

Mom said "If he is your friend ask him immediately. "

They both decided to go and ask them for wedding.

I sat next to grandma and watched her sleep.

Next day my parents left to vikarabad to meet the girl's family.

Even Priya went with them. I was living with grandma as she need someone to take care of her.

In next two days my mom informed that they really liked that girl.

And also she is the daughter of Dad 's friend.

Even dad talked to him about the current situation, he agreed to marry his daughter in the short notice.

They said even girl agreed for marriage. I was quite doubtful, because no one wants to marry this early now a days. I mean they said she is not even 20.

Why did she agree?

Will she be like the girl at restaurant?

Sigh.... I should stop comparing both of them.

Next day My family went to their house for official meeting. Even Priya accompanied them.

After coming from their house... She was going all compliments about the girl.

She said Sadhvi just completed 2nd year and studying in our college.

Oh.... That is the new news for me.

So she is my junior.....most probably a friend of Ravi's girlfriend.

My thoughts broke as I heard my mobile ringtone.

I saw my mom was calling me.

I answered it and placed my mobile on table by putting it on speaker mode.

She said "Sid....Why don't you come here tomorrow.....i said Sadhvi that I will invite you tomorrow. "

I said "Mom you know I want to be near grandma..... And also it is just shopping. Can't you guys do that, what will I do there? "

She said "So you won't come? "

I said "Mom don't force me.... I will be there day after tomorrow anyways..... "

She scoffed and hang up the call.

I shrugged my shoulders.... My mom can be so dramatic sometimes.

I was spending all my time with grandma.

Suddenly I remembered that I haven't informed my friends about my marriage.

I think it will be better if less members know about this....

You know it's not easy to marry early.... Few people may even make fun out of this matter.

I may retaliate but I don't think the same regarding Sadhvi.

From what I came to know about her from Priya.... She doesn't make friends easily. And she is an introvert.

If this matter gets out.... Many may focus into our lives. This may get unnecessary attention.

So I will speak to her about this and let her know that we are going to keep the marriage a secret.

From my side I will just inform Adarsh.

So I dialed his number.

He lifted it as soon as I heard two rings... I think he is playing call of duty.

"Hello bro.... "

I said " Hi Adi "

He asked " When are you coming back bro.... I'm missing you. You haven't even informed us anything. "

I just said "Adi listen to me properly. I want you to come home tomorrow. "

He interrupted me and said " Whyyy "

I sighed.... He just can't speak without interrupting others.

" I am getting  married. "

He shouted " You... You what..? "

I whisper yelled at him" Keep your voice low. Grandma 's health is not fine. Doctors gave up. And her last wish is me getting married. "

He said " Oh... So you are getting married. Are you fine.... I mean when are you going to marry and whom? "

" It's day after tomorrow, I mean 24th of February. And I have not met her yet. I just know that she is one of our junior, she will be joining in 3rd year after 3 days. "

He exclaimed " You are marrying to our junior.... Say her name? "

I said " Sadhvi..... Sadhvi Reddy "

He said " Sadhvi... I have not heard about anyone with that name.... Are you sure? "

I said  " Just stop with your investigation..... Priya knows her already. "

He said " OK bro.... You won't even say to Ravi and Rishi? "

I said " Not yet.... I will inform them after coming to college. "

He replied " OK sid.. Your wish... I will come home tomorrow evening then.. "

I hang up saying a quick okay.

Next day...

As he said he came in evening.

We both discussed about the matter.

My mom called and said to come there early in the morning as there are few rituals to perform.

We slept early.

Next day we took grandma along with her in our car and went directly to Sudha aunty's house.

As soon as we reached there my mom called all the relatives present there and told them to apply haldi on me.

I objected a lot but at last no one listened to me.

I looked like a monster at the end of ritual even Priya and Adarsh were laughing at me.....

After that I went to have a shower.

Then my mom brought a silk shirt and a Dhothi (It is draped same like a Saree except it doesn't have a pallu, mostly Telugu groom's wear this for marriage)

My Dad came and helped me wear a dhothi as I never wore one...

After getting ready we left for temple.

As soon as I entered the temple I can see a girl in red performing Pooja in the mandapam.

I started walking towards her..... But as soon as I recognized her, I can feel that my eyes widened in shock.

It's her......

The girl from the restaurant.

Is she the one,i am getting married to??
