Chapter 59

Birthday Trial

Tainted Love

Savannah

Jumping Damon’s bones in some back alley was not on the list of things to do today, but I’m not complaining.

~Not. At. All.~

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, man is an orgasm fairy—or maybe a sex angel.

I’m not quite sure which one to pick, but he’s something.

Damon tossed me over his shoulder when we pulled up in front of the bar, taking me directly to his bedroom and not letting me out for the next eight hours.

An entire box of condoms. Used.

Then, he made me a sandwich.

I’m not joking either.

While I was reforming back into a solid from Damon making me into a liquid, my Angel went to the kitchen and made me a plate of sandwiches, brought me something to drink, and a couple bags of chips.

He said only one sandwich was for me, the others were for him, but he would share.

I made a joke about him being such a snack whore that he would take all the sandwiches.

We laid in his bed, naked and sexually satisfied.

~For now.~

Munching on homemade sandwiches, talking and laughing. I know I was absolutely against celebrating my birthday, but if this is what my new tradition will be like, I won’t mind it terribly.

It will never replace what I had, nothing ever will.

But, if this is what moving forward is like, I don’t hate it.

Snuggled up to my demonic Angel while filling my belly, I am going to be cheesy for a second here.

Damon filled my heart.

I know, disgustingly adorable.

After school let out, we received a visit from Dane, pulling in his Xbox and Dance Dance Revolution.

Dane, saying how he has mastered this game and has the high score on every song, knows he has got me beat this time.

Pulling on my dress and locking my girls up, I accept his challenge and begin beating his high scores.

Why Dane has Dance Dance Revolution I don’t know. It’s a multiplayer game and I don’t see one of his brothers dancing on this.

I take that back.

Daxon maybe.

“How?! How? It took me a week of continued play with that song for me to get even half of your score!”

Dane tosses his wristband down and stomps his feet. He reminds me of Morgan when he does this. He was the same way, except he already knew.

Looking at Damon, who rolls his eyes, I put a hand on Dane’s shoulder, suppressing the urge to laugh.

“Danszy, sweetheart, I have been doing choreographed dance moves since I was seven. I am an eleven-time champ. My record will go undrafted. You didn’t stand a chance against me.

“But, keep looking. Maybe you’ll find a game to beat me at? What if you made one up?”

I said the same thing to Morgan, who would spend days creating a new game and making the rules up for me to crush him at his legit own game.

I have a feeling this will go a lot like that.

“I could do that, couldn’t I? You are going down, Van!” He runs out of the room like a little kid to get to work on his unknowing defeat.

“Wanna play?” I pick up the band Dane threw down and hold it out for Damon to take. His lips twist into a foxlike smirk and he shakes his head no.

The post-sex look, how his hair is tussled and messed up…

It’s panty melting. If I were wearing any.

“Oh come on, one song?”

Damon’s tongue licks his bottom lip and I know he caught me looking at it.

“But it’s my birthday?” I stuck my bottom lip out and formed a pout that made Damon chuckle.

“Now it’s your birthday? It wasn’t a few hours ago.” He leans up in the bed. The aqua-blue sheet he has puddled in his lap makes him a wet dream come to life.

I know for 100% certain that multiple spots on that bed are still wet from our earlier exercises.

“A few hours ago my insides were getting turned to soup. Now, post bang, I say it’s my birthday and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. So, my Angel, would you like to dance dance?”

His smile widens, a few of his inky locks dash forward and hang down in his eyes.

His chest, like God took a chisel to it and took his time to craft each and every line that separates one muscle from the other.

His tattoos only make it better. Painted under his skin like he needed any more to draw my eye.

This man.

I believe it.

I really do.

Luci has to be the devil because his sons are far too gorgeous to be human beings.

Damon particularly.

“One. That’s it, birthday or not, Shortcake.”

Joining me out of bed, in all his nude glory, I take an unashamed look at his dick.

Swinging like a powerful sword between his legs—I swear to God—clacking his knees.

Like the Excalibur of cocks.

“Yay! Okay, so what song?”

“I think we’re alone now. The beating of our heart is the only sound. I think we’re alone now,” I sing Tiffany’s one hit wonder louder than the TV.

Dancing with Damon, laughing through my words at the sight of just how uncoordinated he really is.

The night in the country must have been an actual magical night seeing him try to copy these simple dance moves.

“It’s going too fast. Hush up!”

Damon shoves me over, making me miss a few of the moves to lower my perfect score.

“I didn’t say anything.” I laugh at this naked Angel beside me and how pissed he is getting.

The ending finally coming, Damon pulls the plug on the whole system before our scores come up.

Laughing, with Damon going over how this game is shit anyways, we didn’t hear the door open with the punch in of his secret code.

Greeted with the biker king’s cold stare, Damon grabs the sheet to cover himself.

“Ever heard of knocking?” Damon’s emotions grow heated, even with the steam from Lucien’s ears at the way Damon talked to him in front of me, the chill is whipping right behind the pair.

A death glare between the two that could rival the ice age.

“I’ll go anywhere I want in my damn club. If you weren’t swinging your dick around like a fucking moron, you wouldn’t be embarrassed.”

Damon, rebelling with a scoff, looks at me before going back to his dad.

“I’m never embarrassed of anything that makes my girl happy.”

~My heart. Oh dear lord, my heart.~

~Goddess down!~

~Direct hit.~

Taking the three steps to Damon’s side, I slide in under his arm with my eyes locked in on his. Our silent conversation being “my Angel” and his reply of “my Shortcake.”

“Let’s go.” Luci holds the door open and turns his attention to me, ignoring Damon.

“Where are we going?” I raise my eyebrow, running my hand down Damon’s side when he tightens his grip around me.

“Next trial starts in five minutes. I’m done with this.”

Lucien snaps his fingers at me like I’m someone who will be bossed around.

“You couldn’t wait? Her first was only a few days ago. Today is h—”

“I don’t give a fuck! I’ve had enough of this, boy! Let’s go, I want her out of this club. Sooner she fails, the sooner we can get you back to where you’re supposed to be.”

Damon pushes me behind him, his sheet bunched up at his chest and the fury this man is emitting is deadly.

“Angel. It’s okay. He’s right.”

Damon turns around, his face sunk in with that evil scowl.

Lucien’s own pissed-off look shifts slightly at my words.

“The sooner I get this done, the sooner you get back where you’re supposed to be.”

My hand cups Damon’s cheek, a smirk glossing my lips that I shine at Lucien.

“With your face buried between my thighs.”

I lean up and kiss Damon, letting my tongue lick his bottom lip and make a show of it before I bend down, grabbing my panties from under the bed and pulling them on with Lucien watching.

“So? What’s this next test?”

I step directly in front of the biker king.

My hands behind my back, tilting on my feet like a little girl who’s asking what her birthday present is.

A cold grin from Luci makes me want to slap it off, but I wait. I can hear Damon move around to get dressed. Pulling on some pants so he can come with me.

“A submission match.”

Damon stops, I can feel him glaring.

That look on his face to make babies cry.

“Like in the WWE? For real?”

Damon moves to his bedside table and starts pulling black circles of tape out.

“Something like that.”
