9.2|Aaira • Attacked|
The Art Of Love ✓
Her mind was floating somewhere between the state of being asleep and awake. She didn't want to wake up and sleep as long as possible. Seeing dreams of being a mother.
But...
"Aaira, wake up. It's eight o'clock." She heard him.
But she didn't react. There was no response from her side.
He will again seduce her and then say it never happened.
She won't let him do this again.
"Aaira, first you complain I don't give you my attention. And now when I want to spend some time with you, you are ignoring me." He sat beside her, looking at how she was faking sleep.
"Aaira, I know you are awake. Get up."
But again it had no effect on her.
He understood she was upset. But what he could do? He himself was puzzled what's wrong with her. But there is something wrong with her for sure.
He caressed her hair and pecked her lips. And whispered into her ear, "Aaira, I need something."
Aaira opened her eyes to look at him, she knew he won't leave until she don't give in. He was in just a towel, to her pleasure as well as frustration.
"What?" Her tone was rude, as expected by him.
"A condom." He smirked.
She gaped at his reply and threw a pillow on him.
"You are shameless."
"Aye, I am talking to my wife and I think, by now you must be aware how dirty mind I have."
"Very well. Now go away!"
"I will. You remember I am flying to Switzerland tonight, for a business trip?"
Her anger flew out of window and sadness embraced her. She totally forgot about it.
"When will you return?" Her upset tone was enough to end his mischievous mood.
"After a month." He looked down, tapping his foot on the floor.
What he wasn't expecting was exactly what she did next.
Just like a tigress pounces on her prey, she pounced over him. He felt her push him to the bed and the next moment his towel was on the floor. This version of her is his favourite. When she is wild like fire.
Their lips locked, their hands exploring each other. His hands moved fastly to remove her clothes which soon joined his towel on the floor.
"Wait, I need a condom."
She frowned.
Why he needs a condom? What if he don't use it for once? What will happen? There are chances she will get pregnant... finally. But no, he will never let this happen. He don't want a baby. He will never let her enjoy motherhood.
She moved out of the bed, leaving his body cold and desperate.
"What happened, sweetheart?" Anay asked at her sudden back away.
"I need a bath." And she entered the ensuite.
He groaned in frustration.
Now what happened to her?
He followed her into the shower.
Wrong move. She looked more tempting under shower.
He joined her in the shower and hugged her. Because there was no point in arguing and reasoning when he knows exactly what he don't want to admit.
She is suffering from some illness, and he needs to know what exactly it is.
"I have hired a caretaker for you." He informed.
"Why?"
"This solitude is unhealthy for you. You need some company. With my workload I can't be with you most of the times, that's why a caretaker."
"I am not a baby." She protested.
"But you behave like one."
She didn't say anything and picked a body wash lotion. Anay took it from her and began applying some to her skin by himself. She had an almost unseen smile on her face, but he noticed it. His touch was gentle, as if she is a glass doll.
"Anay... I love you." All of a sudden she confessed and kissed him.
"I love you too." He pecked her and continued pampering his wife.

"Aaira, meet Dina. She is your caretaker from today onwards." Anay introduced a kind old lady to Aaira.
Dina smiled looking at Aaira, making Aaira smile as well.
In the background driver was bringing Dina's luggage to the apartment and putting Anay's luggage in the car.
"And from tomorrow servants will be working full time." He informed her.
Aaira was quite puzzled but again he had told her earlier she needs some company and she totally agrees with that. Lack of human interaction, except for her husband, is maybe the cause of her distress.
"I'll wait for you." And she pecked his lips making him smile.
"Take care of yourself." He pinched her cheek and left.

"So, Aaira, how you got married to Mr. Anay?" Dina asked when both of them were done with their dinner.
"That's a quite cliche story."
"Cliche is love. Go on."
"Anay was my senior in the college and both of us belonged to middle class families. He proposed me and I took some time but said yes. However, after few weeks of his post graduation his mother died all of a sudden. It was a natural death. And he fought with his two elder brothers over property matter. He left his family, forever. Because his brothers and their wives had a toxic influence on him."
"What about his father?"
"Sadly, he died in an accident when Anay was only ten."
"Oh, continue please."
"He was homeless. But a good friend of his let him live in his rental apartment. He needed money, and not few thousands, lakhs. Because he wasn't interested in doing jobs, he aimed to be the boss. I gave him all the gold jewelry I had, which was of my dead mother. I trusted him and his capabilities. Yeah, I got a good beating from my... father. But I agree I deserved it."
"And what happened next?" Dina could imagine everything in her head. She was thoroughly enjoying this.
"It took him just a year to build AA enterprises." Aaira had a proud smile on her face.
"And AA stands for?"
"Aaira's Anay."
"Aww, how sweet of him. God bless both of you."
"Thank you."
"Alright, you need to sleep now or your husband will deduct my salary." Dina looked at her wristwatch.
Aaira nodded and made her way to her bedroom, which felt cold and unwelcoming in her husband's adsence.

In the middle of the night suddenly Aaira woke up. It seemed as if some force all of a sudden snatched away her sleep.
She looked around her room, and saw something strange.
A man was standing in the balcony of her room. All in black. His back towards him. But she could recognise him in millions of bodies. Anay.
"Anay, when did you came back? What about your business trip?" She asked while getting up from the bed.
He turned around, his eyes shining in the darkness. As if he is the God of darkness himself.
"Oh, don't tell me it was a stupid prank. I missed you a million times in these few hours." She complained like a wife always do.
Walking upto him, she hugged him. But he didn't respond or react. As if he knew no touch or no emotion. He didn't even move.
"Anay, at least kiss your sweetheart."
She expected him chuckle, to tease her, to finally kiss her but...
She felt a harsh grip on her hair and was pulled back by the man she knows as her husband.
"A-Anay!"
Looking at his cruel expression she could not believe it was him. He, the man head over heels for her.
She should have known.
His evil intentions.
"Goodbye, sweetheart." He evilly smirked.
And that's all she could remember before darkness embraced her.
