9.1|Aaira • Abnormal|
The Art Of Love ✓
"Good morning." She heard him whisper in her ear and felt him lightly bite her earlobe.
Her sleepiness vanished at his touch. She opened her eyes, and saw him standing with a food trolley at a side.
"When did you came from the office?" She asked.
"Just a while ago. And I thought why don't I surprise my wife with her favourite breakfast." He smiled and sat beside her.
His hands moved to caress her disheveled hair which resembles a bird's nest, yet she looked pretty to him.
Aaira held his hand in her palms, and looked into his eyes lovingly.
"Anay, I miss you a lot."
"Aaira, we live together in the same house, sleep on the same bed, how do you miss me then?"
"But we hardly get time for each other."
"Hmm, but we got this moment, right?"
She smiled at his words and moved closer to him, to kiss him. But he put a finger on her lips.
"First go and brush. Then we will eat breakfast and we'll have rest of the day for our kissing sessions."
"Alright." She nodded and stood up, not before kissing him on his cheek.
"Aaira!"
She giggled and headed to the ensuite bathroom. But before she entered, she heard him again.
"Aaira."
But his tone wasn't mischievous one like before, it was tired. She turned around to find why he sounded tired.
And what she saw was...
Anay entering the bedroom in his office clothes, his laptop bag and coat in his right hand. He looked really tired, as if he didn't slept whole night and worked in the office.
But how it can be possible?
Just a few moments ago he was talking to her romantically sitting on the bed, and now...
"Anay, how did you change so fast?" She asked, a minute ago he was wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants but now he was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
How he changed so fast?
"Aaira, I am not in the mood to answer your riddles. I am very tired." He slumped on the bed and covered himself with duvet. His coat and laptop bag lying carelessly on the edge of the bed and he didn't even bother to remove his shoes.
"But you had prepared breakfast for me. And told me to brush before we kiss. You forgot?" Aaira looked towards her bed, to her shock that food trolley was nowhere to be seen.
"Oh, so you want a kiss. Aaira, just kiss me then, I am your husband, not someone else's husband."
"Anay, I am not joking!" Why he never believe her words?
"Alright, I believe you. I made breakfast for you and told you to brush before we kiss. Now, can I sleep?" He never believe her imaginery stories, because it never happened between them.
He never danced with her in the middle of the night.
He never bathed with her in the shower.
He never talked about having a baby with her.
He thinks it's her way to convey her wishes to him. He gets agitated sometimes, but he was sensible enough to not let this strain their relationship.
Aaira's eyes filled up with tears of frustration. Why he never believe her? Or he is playing with her? Or she is getting mad?
She entered the ensuite and got ready for the day. When she was done she wore a bathrobe and came out. Her wet hair dripping drops of water on the floor.
Her eyes fell on the bed and she sighed. Placing his coat and laptop bag on their respective places, she removed his shoes as well.
She sat beside him, and kept looking at him for a while. Her palm caressing his hair. She leaned in to kiss him, but stopped mid-way when she remembered the earlier episode. And left the room without kissing him.

Aaira was roaming around in her lavish apartment in just a bathrobe. Because it was only her in the house most of the times. Maids immediately leave after their work is done. Anay's day starts with work and ends with work only. It was only her and her solitude. So she was comfortable this way.
"So my sweetheart is angry with me." She heard him.
Aaira turned around to see him coming towards her. Shirtless.
His arms snaked around her waist from behind. She could feel his hot breath on her neck.
"I am sorry, for denying you a kiss."
"It's not just about kiss. You trick me." She complained while leaning onto his bare chest.
"I never tricked you. You are tricking yourself."
"What do you mean?"
"That you don't understand."
She huffed in annoyance and pulled out from his touch.
"You don't love me anymore." She grimaced.
"That's a lie, sweetheart."
He stepped closer to her. His fingers took a hold of the knot of her bathrobe. Aaira's breath hitched as his fingers worked to open the knot. Her hands clutched his arms, but she didn't protest. Not at all.
And soon enough he freed her from the only piece of clothing she was wearing.
He smirked, strangely, with pure love. He leaned in for kiss, looking straight at her lips. Aaira closed her eyes, waiting for the kiss to happen.
But...
"Aaira! What the hell is this?" She heard his angry shout from a distance.
Her eyes flew open and what she saw was... Anay coming from the direction of their bedroom. He was still wearing the same shirt and pants. And he visibly looked angry.
But he was just a while ago standing in front of her. That too shirtless.
How he could come out from the bedroom instead? That too in his office clothes.
"Why are you roaming around naked?" He asked in an angry tone while picking her bathrobe from the floor.
He made her wear it and knotted it tightly.
"I asked you something, Aaira. Why were you naked outside our room?"
"You removed my robe." She replied hesitantly.
Because she knew he will again refuse. He will say it never happened.
And yes, he did the same.
"Aaira, I just woke up. How could I do this?" He was fed up with her fake stories. Initially, he ignored it thinking of it as her cute way to tease him. But now it's too much.
He dragged her to their bedroom and made her sit on the bed. He pulled out random clothes from the closet and threw them on the bed.
"Wear them right now." He ordered.
Aaira, without looking at him, removed the bathrobe and wore those clothes. Her regular kurti and leggings. All the while Anay was looking solely on her. It wasn't the first time she was changing in front of him. In their five years of marriage it happened plenty of times. So many times that now it's not at all exciting for them to change in front of each other. It feels quite normal.
"Come here, drama queen." It felt as if he taunted her. But she complied and went closer to him.
And he kissed her. Lip to lip. Punishingly, yet passionately.
As if he was telling her that, "Aaira, stop messing with me with your lies. Just stop or I am afraid I'll fell out of love with you, which I don't want. I love you and I want to keep loving you, but your lies are not helping."
As the kiss ended, Aaira leaned onto his chest. Her eyes were wet. Her husband is tricking her and pretends as if she is herself a liar. This was not done. When he turned so evil? And why?
"Anay, do you hate me?" Because it seemed so. He has intentions of driving her insane.
"No." He caressed her hair.
"Then why are you doing this to me?"
"What, Aaira?" He was confused, what exactly she was talking about?
She pulled from the hug and looked at him.
"This. That you don't know anything. That nothing happened. That I am lying. I am not lying." And she ended up crying.
It was too much for her.
"Aaira, I...", he wanted to say that he truly doesn't know anything. But he knew this will only increase their conflicts. So he said, "... I am sorry. This will never happen again, I promise." He wiped her tears and hugged her.
He was perplexed. What is exactly wrong with her? Why she was behaving so weird? Why she say he did something that he never did in real?
She was behaving abnormal.
As if her reality is different from others.

I hope all of you are finding this chapter mysterious. Because that's exactly what I wanted this to be.
