Chapter 46

*Third person's pov*

The night breeze blew violently in the room reminding how cold tonight is for them. Torn curtains, splinters of broken wood and shattered glasses are everywhere in the room which used to look like a throne room few hours ago. The windows are all smashed and broken barely hanging on their hinges. There are big holes in the walls. The only thing that is not destroyed is the throne. The one who caused this destruction is currently out there running in the wood like a mad animal.  All the ladies sobbed into the silent night while all their mates are out searching for their princess. The queen and the woman who gave birth to princess  is in the floor sobbing into the embrace of Seguli and Yunna while Luna and Jisoo try to find comfort in each other. They all sat there not moving a muscle until the sun rise.Yet there wasn't a any news from their mates. Everyone in the palace is running here and there yet any one didn't dare to enter the room dreading that queen will snap at them any second loosing her patience. She didn't find her daughter after back a 21 years to loose her again. It's a miracle to see how she is still keeping her sanity in this situation unless her daughter's mate.

"I think everyone should eat something!" Yunna said breaking the hours of silence.

"We all are here sickly worried about our princess and you want us to eat?" Seguli snapped totally loosing her mind at her suggestion.

"Look I didn't mean it like that way. We all can't keep sitting here doing nothing while our mates are out there searching for her. We need to eat and gain strength so we can go and help them. If Shenu was here do you think she would like to see all of us like this?" She questioned. "I may have not like her at the beginning, but everything changed. She is my princess, the master of my mate, most of it she is my friend Seguli." She uttered sincerely. "I am going to search for her whether our mates allow us or not. And I know all of you will join me. So to do that we need energy!" Now Seguli feel bad for snapping at her. The queen squeezed her hand signaling that she is agreeing with her idea, but anyone doesn't want to walk away from that room. They don't want to experience the luxurious of their dinning room while their princess is out there fighting for her life. So they got some bread and juice into the room to fill their stomach before starting their mission. Even though their mind and heart refuse to eat they all forced the food down their throat with a great difficulty.

It was almost the end of their little breakfast when a sudden gush of wind blew into the room forcefully and a very pale young girl appeared in front of them out of nowhere. The queen was the first one to stand up and shield all the ladies in a protective stance from the possibility threaten in front of them. She growled at the stranger when she offered her a innocent smile.

"Who are you?" The queen's alpha voice boomed in the room making everyone to shudder under her authority.

"I mean no harm my queen!" the young girl bowed respectfully showing her submission and respect. "My name is Mellisa and I am a witch your majesty."

"What do you want?" Shenu's mother dared to ask stepping out from queen's behind sensing there is no danger in her.

"I am here to help! I know where the princess is."

They all waited for their mates examining the pale girl in front of them. No one dared to utter a word even though they are dying to know where their princess is. But they have to wait for their mates. Specially for a certain alpha.

"How old are you?" Jisoo questioned wanting to kill the silence until their males arrive and to make sure they wouldn't pull the hair out of that girl questioning where about their princess. Melissa refused to open her mouth until she meet the mate of princess.

"I am 24!" She answered with a kind smile. Though she looks like a teenager Jisoo knew better than anyone else that she is older than she looks. So it wasn't a surprise for her that she is 24. Suddenly the big gold double doors opened and something dashed towards the girl in lightning speed. The next second they saw the girl was on their one and only vampire, yoongi's embrace.

"Mate!" They heard him whispered into the girls ear. Mellisa wrapped her hands around him pulling him closer to her. Soon the other males joined the room to see newly found mate. Even though it is a happy moment, no one dared to show a smile on their faces in this situation. Mellisa pulled away from the embrace and offered him a charming smile before her eyes search for a certain alpha in the room, but she couldn't find him.

"Where is Jungkook?" The queen questioned understanding the girl.

"On his wa-" Taehyung didn't get a chance to complete his sentences when the double doors slammed open breaking them out of their hinges. That was the only thing left escaped from his wrath other than the throne. Now it also joined the broken collection of the room. All their eyes snapped to see the devil himself taking steps inside like a predator. Jeon Jungkook! His eyes are pitch black which sent shivers down their spines in fear. His sharp long canines are extend ready to snap anyone's throat any second. Black and red veins are popping out everywhere on his body. Overall he looks like a devil, a monster or worst, a beast that thirsty for blood. Goosebumps arise on their bodies when they got glimpse of their young,shy boy. Within a blink of an eye he dashed towards the girl and lifted her to the air by neck chocking her.

"NO...!" Suga protest and charged at him to protect his met, but went flying away and crashed to the nearest wall from a punch by mad alpha. Jungkook. Suga is sure that punch broke his several ribs, but he stood up despite the pain and was about to charge at alpha to save his mate when Taehyung stood in front of him blocking his path.

"No hyung! You are making the situation worse. If you attack him now both you and your mate would end up getting killed by his hand and we wouldn't be able stop him. Stop triggering him up." Taehyung warned which helps to calm Suga a little bit. But he stayed alert. Mellisa silently send him a message from her eyes signaling that she is okay even though there is a possibility that she could get killed if she uttered a one wrong word.

"How do you know the princess is missing?" Jungkook questioned through the gritted teeth. It's still a secret for outsiders about their princess being missed. So someone claiming that she knows where the princess is sound suspicious in his ears. Now Suga kind of understand why the younger is acting this way towards his mate. Even though that girl is Suga's mate, she is still a outsider, so the younger can't trust her that easily. Specially when it comes to his mate.

"I-I am a w-witch alpha! I had a vision." the girl uttered carefully. Jungkook's grip loosened a little bit allowing the girl to breath and speak properly. "I felt someone using black magic. So I thought that has something to do with my vision and when I got here my suspicious proved correct." Mellisa explained very cautious with her choose of words. Jungkook slowly lowered her to the ground and released the grip. He let the girl calm down before questioning her again. Even though he is going insane right now without his mate, he is not that heartless to torture a innocent girl suffer. Specially if that girl is his hyung's mate.

"Where is she?" he asked once she caught up with her breath.

"It's you who know where she is alpha!" She said making everyone to snap their heads at her like she is some kind of a alien just got there from an other planet. There is noway they would be still searching for their princess if Jungkook knows where she is.

"What do you mean?" the king questioned before Jungkook can. The girl smiled and started chanting something in an other language. Suddenly white smoke surrounded her right hand and a book appeared on her hand. It would be a great entertaining for them to see if not for their current situation. Everyone eyed the book curiously.

"Isn't that book is about the story of moon-goddess?" Jisoo was the first one to ask as she recognized the cover of that book.

There was a wolf on a cliff, howling into the full moon. Next to him sat a girl whom consider as the goddess in that book. No one ever had seen the goddess. And the people who ever got a chance to see her wouldn't remember her face after that. So many would paint her according to their imaginations. All the supernatural creatures knows about her story, cause they all grew up hearing that story from their elders. After all that story is the one that inspired her to create them.

"Yes! This book will help him to find where she is." Mellisa said pointing at Jungkook, who looked so lost and frustrated about being lost in a time like this. "But we need a proper place which actually look like a room to discuss." She said examining the room which used to be a throne room. Jungkook groaned getting impatient as the queen guided everyone to princess's chamber. Every passing second is like a acid to his heart knowing that his mate is out there in danger. He took a deep breath to suppress his anger before following them to the chamber. He need to stay calm. He can't loose control, cause he knows once he loose his control there wouldn't be anyone to tame him. Not even his mate. And that will lead to the biggest destruction in their world.

*Jungkook's pov*

"Please lie down alpha!" That girl whom I know as Mellisa said gesturing me to lie down on the bed. I gave her a questioning look, but nonetheless complied. She better not be wasting my time or else I would make sure to tore her limb by limb. I don't care whose mate she is if she is danger to My mate, My princess, My love, My Angel!

As I laid down she placed that book on my bare chest. I growled as her finger lightly grazed my bare chest accidentally. Anyone's touch is like fire to my body now. It burns my skin. I know I don't have much time before I go completely insane. That's why it is very important to find her as quickly as possible. No one can't blame me though. My wolf and I are not ready to loose her for the second time. We just marked her.

Mellisa bowed her head apologetically. She placed a one hand above the book that laying on my chest and raised her other hand for Suga hyung to take. Suga hyung grabbed it instantly and offered his other hand to Jin hyung. Soon everyone joined their hands with each other and circled around me. Mellisa started chanting something. Her eyes turned gold and white smoke started surrounding us. Soon I felt my eyelids getting heavier and look at other to see, that they all are already closing their eyes. My eyes closed unwillingly and darkness surrounded me.

I am in my wolf form running away from few wolves that are chasing me in the darkness. Why am I running when I can surely take them down. I am the strongest. Seconds past by and I start realized and remember the situation I am in. Those who are chasing me is my pack. I distract their pray and let it escape cause I didn't want a innocent animal to get killed for our food. I never enjoyed hunting. I was a different wolf than others. I loved the nature and try to become friendly with other creatures, even though that's against my nature. My pack always hate me for that. And today they crossed their limit with me and decide to end my pathetic life. I am injured allover my body from their attacks, but still I ran for my life. I am the fastest runner in my pack and that is a one reason that they bared my rebellious acts. The cold night breeze caressed my injuries making me to hiss and run faster. Soon I was able to escape from their track in the darkness of wood. I came to a halt when I neared a cliff. My limp body collapsed into the ground as soon as I got a glimpse of a human girl sitting near the end of the cliff. I am too weak and exhausted to lift my body and ran away from there. I think this is the end of my life. That girl will probably kill me. But what surprised me more was when that girl slowly neared me and ran her fingers over my injures. I hissed from the pain tried my best not growl and scare that girl away. Her touches feel so familiar, yet I can't pinpoint what is it.

Suddenly the girl walked away. Great! I think I scared her away. Now I have to wait for my own painful slow death. Few minute passed I heard footstep approaching me. The girl. She came back. There was some leaves in her hand. She started chopping them using a rock and tore her long dress from the bottom into pieces. She applied the paste she made over my wounds and wrapped them with clouts. I took that time to examine her face. Her long small eyes, full cheeks and plump lips. My breath hitched once I recognized her face. But in my wolf form I showed no reaction at all. Why? This is the girl, I am looking for. Shenu! My mate! My Angel. My eyelids get heavier and I welcome the darkness into my world.

I opened my eyes again to see it is morning now. Birds chipper under the morning sunlight. I look around and saw I am still on the cliff. White clouts were wrapped all over my body. So last night wasn't a dream. I got attack from my own pack and a total stranger save me. Wait! I know her! Then why do my wolf think her as a stranger?

I roamed around the forest aimlessly whole day. I have no where to go and I am a lone, weak wolf. When the night fall my legs took me to the cliff again automatically. And I found her sitting there looking at the moon. My mate! My beautiful mate! I walked towards her without making a noise and sat next to her startling her in the process. She relaxed once she realized who I am. She hesitantly lift her hand and started running her fingers through my fur carefully waiting for my reaction cautiously. I purred making a smile broke into her angelic face. And I realized their was a basket next to her. She grabbed few things from the basket and started treating my wounds again. And I let her, knowing she wouldn't hurt me. After she finished treating my wounds she grabbed a pot filled with cooked meat and offered it to me. Heaven! Without waiting a any second I devour it. Even though I wouldn't hunt, that doesn't mean I don't like meat. I would fill my stomach with already dead animals meat. She looked at fondly at me. What is so fascinating about a wolf eating meat like a pig that haven't eaten from months?

Days and month passed. And it become a habit for both of us to meet on the cliff every night. Day by day I start falling for her. I fell for her charming smile. I fell for her glistening eyes with excitement every time I lowered my body to let her get on it. I fell for her long tender fingers that she used to comb my fur making me to purr in satisfaction. I fell for her kind heart which was kind enough to be friend with a wolf. I fell for her innocent, pure soul that always brought the good out of the worst. We fell in love with each other. We went against the law of nature. A wolf and a human fell in love. The beast stole the beauty's heart like the beauty stole his. I loved her. I love her and I will love her.

Months passed by after we met each other, when one night everything went downfall. It was a one evening that I waited for her in the cliff, when I heard yelling sounds coming from the distance. It wasn't dark yet, but soon it would be. I still have lot of time before I met her. So I decided to check what that is. I ran towards the sound and completely halt on my track when I saw from distant what's going on there. There was the love of my life being chased by few men. Her long white lace dress was tron in some places exposing her skin and angry red scares on it. Blood was oozing from her fresh wounds. Without waiting any second I started chasing them. They all end up in the cliff cornering her to the edge. At this point darkness slowly started surrounding the forest. I jumped in front of her, shielding her laying body on the ground. I growled at them warning them back up. But those cruel men didn't get the message. Soon they started attacking and I had no other options than to kill them to save my love. I realized I am slowly loosing the fight when my body started weakening, yet I fought with all my mighty to save her. I need to protect her even if that mean sacrificing my own life. I will gladly do that if she get a chance to survive. I killed the last man with all my strength and collapsed into the ground as I found all of them laying in the ground lifeless. But even before I get a chance to see her face I heard her screaming and the next second I felt a shooting pain in my chest. There in my chest was sword. I looked up to see a man standing there with a wicked smile. His face wasn't clear in the dark, yet his sinister laugh was all cleared in my ears.

I felt her pulling my body into her lap and start mourning over my almost lifeless body. She yelled and screamed  asking me for not to leave her. She yelled telling how much she love me over and over again. At least she is safe. I saved her. She is alive. My happiness short lived when I heard her screaming in agony. I felt blood pouring into my snot. I slowly lift my eyes to see a sword stab into her heart. The heart which belong to me. The heart that fell in love with me. It was her blood. It was her blood that pouring out from her chest like a waterfall. No! No! No! NOOOOOOO...........!

Suddenly darkness surrounded me again and I found myself in my human form, standing near the cliff, watching the two lovers taking their last breath. I heard the last words she uttered before her life left her body.

"I love you!"

My eyes snapped open and I sat up in flash. My eyes were wide open while I clutch the book on my chest like it hold my life. Everyone around me looked at me with same expression on their face. They all stood their speechless. I know they also saw what I saw. Second by second everything started to register in my mind. It was us. It was our story. That wolf was me and that girl was Shenu. It wasn't a dream. It was a memory. It was a memory of our past. It's our past life. Then realization hit me hard like a truck. It's her. Shenu is her.

Shenu is the moon-goddess!
