Chapter 43

*Taehyung's pov*

As soon as those words left from Luna's mouth, I looked at him to see his reaction, cause this would mostly affect him. He looked so shook and lost. Like he doesn't know how to feel. It all took a second for him. Within a blink of an eye he shifted into his midnight black wolf and jumped from the window, dashing away to the wood. No no no.. He can't run away. Not now. I tried to mind-link, but I only got a chance to utter the first letter of his name when he blocked me. He blocked all us and ran away like a crazy animal who is getting chased by hunters.

"Taehyung follow him!" That's all took me to transfer into my black wolf and chase him. I don't know who told me to do that and I don't care either. The only thing in my mind right now is Jungkook. I chased him like my life depend on it, but little by little I got left behind. He is using all his power to speed up. There is nowhere on earth I would be able to match up with him. He is like a wounded animal who doesn't know what it is doing and it is hard to deal with a one like that. Little by little we moved deep into the wood and his scent start to become faint making it impossible to trace him. But I didn't give up. I still ran following his faint scent and then I caught it. The most strongest and dominant scent in the world. The scent that can weaken my knee and make me submit in instant. I felt how it's calling me. And there is in noway I can disobey the command. So I gave up on following Jungkook and start running towards where that scent came from.

I came to a stop in front of the lake. There I saw the figure standing near the lake, looking at the moon, covered in a black cloak and back facing me. I stood behind the figure and I know that my presence is well aware. Even though I hid my scent to follow Jungkook, we can still feel each other through the bond. After all she is the one who summon me.

"Master!" I greeted her through the mind-link, bowing my head in respect. She nodded her head and pointed her finger to the side still back facing me. I looked where she pointed and found a short and a plain t-shirt in the ground. I grabbed it and went behind a tree to shift back.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked once I shifted back and stood behind her. She kept silence staring at the moon. I can see the reflection of her porcelain skin shinning under the moon light from the water beneath her. They used to say that the future queen would be the most attractive and the most beautiful women in the world since moon goddess specially created her for the strongest alpha. Indeed she is a beauty. "Why do you have to announce your presence, when everything is going fine? Do you have any idea how he must be feeling right now?" I asked again. A small beautiful chuckle escaped from her mouth.

"He is devastated. I can feel it. After all our bond is the strongest." She said in a sad lost tone and finally lowered her head. She slowly turn towards me and removed her black cloak exposing her charming smile. She slowly lifted her hand and caressed my cheek softly with a fond smile." I know what I am doing Tae? It's his life. He has to choose between his love and mate bond." She said softly. A tear escaped from my eyes. Whom should I choose? One is my best friend whom I promise to held his back no matter what and the other one is my master whom I am bound to protect with my life. I know it's going to become a hell for Jungkook and he would need me more. And of course I will support him no matter what. But if I have to choose between both, What would I do? I felt her thumb on my cheek wiping away my tears.

"Everything will be alright. Trust me. Now everything is in his hands." I nodded my head. I will believe in her. I always did. She is my master and I promised to be loyal to her. We all always stood by his side and guided him, but now it's time for him to take matters into his hand. This is his life and he has to make the decision without any of us interfering into it. Now it's all up to Jungkook. I hope he will take the right decision.

*Jungkook's pov*

I feel completely numb. I am tron between two worlds. My wolf completely blocked me out. I can't feel Nick neither its' emotions. I can't blame him though. I know why Nick is doing this. My wolf can feel the mate bond stronger than me. If my original mate is alive, then that's mean Nick would feel the bond with her more stronger than the bond we have with Shenu, and he doesn't want it. Nick loves her. He is head over heels for Shenu. That's why he is letting me take the decision on my own. And I am lost. It was almost 5 a.m. when I returned to the pack house. Instead of going to my room, I walked into her room. There she was laying in the bed sleeping peacefully unaware to all the chaos going on. I laid next to her burring my nose into her neck and that's all took me to collect myself. All my insecurities vanished away when I saw her face, when I felt those sparkles in my body, when I felt those weird bubbly feeling in my stomach, when my heart beat fasten and when the calming scent of jasmin and vanilla entered my nose. This is it. This is her. My world. Yes she is my world and I love her. No one can change that. I believe in my love. I believe it is stronger than anything else in this world. My love!

"I love you!" I mumbled to her before drifting into sleep.

I woke up when the sun-ray hit my face harshly through the open windows. By the look I can say that it's already noon. I slowly sat up and that's when I missed the warmth of her body. I can't feel her. I can't feel her presence anywhere near. With panic I rushed to the down-stair ignoring all the weird looks I received from maids and soon found my hyungs in the living room.

"Where is SHE?" I asked or more like yelled.

"Oh there lover boy slow down. She is alright. No need to panic. She just went to the airport with Jisoo and Seguli." Namjoon hyung said. I gave him a questioning look.

"Her parents called this morning when we were having breakfast and informed that they are here. They wanted to surprise her. So she went to fetch them. They would be here soon." J-hope hyung said walking past me to go up-stair.

"And Jungkook I don't think that they would be happy to see their daughter's mate only in a boxer. So you better dress up to impress your future-in-laws." Jin hyung stated pointing at my body and that's when I realized that indeed I am only wearing a boxer.

*Third person's pov*

They all chuckled when they saw their future alpha running away with red cheeks, embarrassed with situation. It's not like they haven't seen their maknae like this, it's because of the maids and other pack members.

"What is it hyung?" Jimin questioned when he realized that their leader is quieter than usual.

"Don't you guys find it weird?" He questioned gaining others attentions. "Both Shenu's parents are humans, but she is a werewolf. And she is sure that she is not adopted. Jewel also confirmed that. How is that possible her parents to be humans and her to be a werewolf?" He voiced out the thing that kept nagging in the corner of his mind for the past month.

"W-What are you talking hyung? She already explained this. There was werewolf gens on her family history. Maybe that's why she is a werewolf." Tae explained with a uneasy smile. Everyone nodded their heads except Namjoon who gave him a suspicious look.

"I swear to the moon-goddess both you and Shenu becoming creepy day by day. Don't think I haven't notice tae?" Namjoon mind-linked him wanting to solve this by himself before he can tell others. It didn't go unnoticed by Namjoon how Taehyung tensed when he said those words, but before he could question it his attention was brought back to the reality when new people entered the living room. There came the girls with Shenu's parents. And soon everyone busied themselves get to knowing their suppose to be future luna's parents. They are not sure anymore whether she would be their future Luna or not after what happened last night. But no matter what they adore her and she will be their future Luna in their mind forever. Soon Jungkook entered gaining the spot light. He received a warm hug from her mother and few more warnings and threatening from her father for hurting his precious girl.

"Don't worry dad! She is my first priority now. I promise to cherish her, protect her and love her no matter what." This was his answer for her father. No doubt Shenu is there future Luna.

"What is it father?" Woobin asked as the alpha again called them to his office for the second time of that day. Again Shenu wasn't there. She was busy showing around to her parents. And for the second time of that day they noticed how tensed their alpha looked and how their Luna tried to calm her down.

"The king called again!" As soon as they heard those words they knew again it is a bad news. "He wants me to announce Woobin as the next alpha of this pack." All their eyes widened and mouth opened wide except Jungkook who already knew where this is going to. And he immediately create a barrier between their mate bond to make sure that his mate wouldn't feel his emotions.

"Why?" Jisoo mumbled in daze.

"Why does he wants me to become the alpha? Jungkook is more suitable than me and he was trained to the one since his childhood! Beside I am not interest in becoming the alpha of this pack." Woobin object the idea of the king. To him this is a burden and big responsibility. And he knows, everyone knows that his younger brother is the most suitable one for the role.

"Because in his eyes Jungkook has an other position to handle." Their mother explained on behalf of her husband.

"What is that?" Jin asked not understanding the King's true intention.

"The next King!" Everyone's head turn towards Suga when he mumbled those words in daze. "Jungkook is the mate of his daughter, that makes him the future King." he explained looking at Jungkook worriedly, but the younger kept a blank face which make them even more worried. They all expect him to make a fuss or even break down, but instead of that he remaind calm. They don't know whether to take this as a good sign or a bad sign.

"Do it!" he suddenly said out of the blue. "Do as the king ordered!" Those are the last words he said before walking out of the office searching for his mate's comfort.

It was crowded and fancy. The decorations, food and the clothes people are wearing is way more fancier than it required for the occasion. All the alphas, their second in command, all the royal pack members, relatives and friends of royal's are present there. For what? To welcome their future queen. Their princess who came back from the death.

Week after Jungkook get to know about his original mate being alive, the king announced a ceremony to welcome their princess and introduce her to others. The king invite all the alphas and betas to the party, And of course he didn't forget to invite his daughter's mate and his friends. So here they are clad in expensive cloths, greeting the other alphas, their fans with a forced smile on their faces despise the situation and searching for their dearest friend Taehyung. Why they searching for him? Since he is the guardian angle and the protector of the princess, he was been summon to the palace way more earlier by the princess along with his mate yunna.

Every time Jungkook saw a couple being lovely-dovey in front of his eyes, his heart ached for his mate whom he left behind in the pack house. He still remembered how much insecurity his mate held in her eyes when he told that he is going to meet the princess, his original mate. But he promised her. He promised her and to himself that he would return back. He promised her to return back in the same night. And he will. or will he?

"Oh there you are! My future king!" They heard a cheerful yet a deep powerful voice saying behind them and they all turn towards to the man and bowed, showing their respect to their king.

"It's pleasure to see u again sir! But I am afraid that the way you greeted me was not going to be correct." Jungkook said politely showing his charming smile. All his friend's and parent's eyes widened at his boldness towards the king. Whom you are talking about. This is their 'King' who can hold anyone's head in his hand within a snap of a finger. All their bodies relaxed when their king chuckled at the younger.

"What are you talking about son. Of course I am correct! You are the mate of my daughter. The future queen. That make you the future king Jungkook!" the king said tapping his shoulders proudly. He was always been proud of the younger. First because Jungkook is his daughter's mate. Second because Jungkook has been always suitable for the throne.

"I am sorry alpha! I can't be your daughter's mate, cause I already have a one, who is waiting for me back in our home!" Jungkook answered gently highlighting the word 'our home' and removing the king's hand from his shoulder.

"Don't be silly Jungkook! She is not your original mate." The king answered with narrowed eyes.

"She isn't! I know that! But she is my first mate. I met her before your daughter." At this point his parents and hyungs held their breath in anticipation. It's sure to them now that the younger came here with a death wish.

"Your bond with my daughter is the strongest bond in the world since she is your original mate. The mate moon-goddess specially create for you. Your so called first mate would never be able to replace that." The king said or more like spat, but the younger remained calm.

"Yah! She never would be able to." Jungkook said nodding his head agreeing with the king. A smile appeared on the king's face, but it was short lived when Jungkook start speaking again. "But there is something with her also that your daughter wouldn't be able to replace." he said with a genuine smile making everyone confused. " My love! My love for her. The princess would never be able to replace the love we have for each other." He stated confidently. Everyone was surprised to see the king's eyes soften at his words, but he kept a steady face.

"So you are giving up the chance of becoming the ruler to all the supernatural creatures for her?" The king asked in disbelieve.

"Wealth, power, authority all of these are nothing compared to my love. They all are like the dust under her feet. Nothing I mean nothing in this world can compare the love I have for her." Everyone was shell shocked at his vice words. All his pack members who are present there looked at him proudly.

"So you are going to reject your future queen?" The queen who listened to all of this commotions silently standing in a corner appeared in front of them.

"I will reject anything for her my queen." Jungkook said and grabbed the hand of the queen to plant a sweet gentle kiss on it. Jungkook always saw the queen as a mother figure and the queen herself also treated him as her own son.

"You already did! Becoming the king mean everything and you already rejected that." The king said with a small smile and walked away to the stage. They all sighed in relief and shared a surprise look among them at the king's calm posture. This is not the reaction they expect from him. The queen soon followed her husband to the stage and everyone knew that it was the time. The time to welcome their future queen. They tried to mind-link there friend but couldn't. It was block. And they are extremely worried about him since they knew how stressed he must be feeling with all of this. All there head snapped towards the king when he greeted everyone using the mic.

"Hello everyone! Once again I would like to thank everyone for participating in this occasion to celebrate with me. So it's the time we all awaits for. Please welcome your princess." The king announced loudly. All of them turn their heads toward the big double doors which are opening slowly by the guards. In came the protector of their future queen looking as handsome as ever.

All the females in the room sworn over the handsome alpha. His friends felt proud over him seeing how professionally and confidently he walked in. Next to him stood his mate Yunna dressed in a beautiful ball room gown. The couple look really good together, but only their friends new that how many thing that couple have to work between them. They stood at the entrance and gave a charming smile to everyone before stepping aside, parting their way for the princess.

Jungkook's breath hitched. The most strongest, the most intoxicated scent he had ever smelled in his entire life entered his nostrils awaking goosebumps all over his body. There walked in the most beautiful lady he had ever laid his eyes on clad in a beautiful red color off-shoulder, ball gown. Her red hair was styled into a low bun and the light make-up she was wearing made her look ethereal.

Jungkook's wolf start to howl in his head when he saw that charming bright smile which can enthralling anyone in the world. She walked towards the stage where her father stood confidently and gracefully. Her protector followed behind. Everyone watched her with wide eyes and open mouths. All of them were speechless. Jungkook's mouth hang ajar when she stood on the stage and sent a dashing smile towards him with a wink.

He blink once, twice, thrice to make sure that what he is seeing is real. And no matter how many times he blinked the image didn't change. It was real. The girl standing in front them is real. He looked around to see his pack members reaction and they all had the same look he had. Surprised and speechless. He felt his wolf clawing inside him asking for a release to mark what is his. The beast wants to claim the beauty. Make her his. And every component in Jungkook's body stopped working when the king confirmed what he seeing is correct.

"This is my daughter! Your future queen." The king looked at her daughter lovingly before introducing her to the crowd.
