Chapter 33

*Shenu's pov*

"How dare you hurt MY MATE?" his doubled voice echoed in the whole place making the ground beneath us shake. He looks like a blood-lust monster with those red orbs covered with a glowing silver thick outline. If I didn't know this man any better, I wouldn't even dare to look at him.  He is oozing power and dominant making others whimper in submission. This is him. The beast everyone feared. And now he is out thanks to that stupid alpha boy who hurt his mate.

"I-I d-din't know she was your mate alpha." Minwoo whimpered in submission taking steps back as Jungkook took steps forward towards him. Fear was evident in his eyes. Not only his, but also everyone's. Even though Jungkook is not their alpha, still his voice can affect anyone as he is strongest among everyone. That's why everyone think that he will be the next king.

"I will count till ten. Shift and run to save your sorry ass." Jungkook said through the gritted teeth. He is trying his best to hold back his paws from  attacking Minwoo.

"Please spare my life Alpha" Minwoo begged on his knees earning a dark chuckle from Jungkook. He extend his canines and licked them like a hungry wolf.

"Now! Now! Don't make this hunt boring" Jungkook sing-sang excitedly and chuckled. Everyone visibly shook from fear. Suddenly he stopped chuckling and everyone went dead silent. Even there wasn't the sound of wind blowing. It's look like that the nature also scared to trigger him up more by making sound. He narrowed his eyes and bend down starring at Minwoo who was on his knees. "Run!"

That's all took Minwoo to shift and ran towards wood praying for his life. He knew. Heck even everyone here knew that he can't escape from the devil. Jungkook start counting like he promised not even bothering to look where Minwoo ran. All that time he kept his eyes on me. When he count '10' he looked at me giving a sweet smile making my breath hitched. "I will be back with a present for you love." and he disappeared into the wood in lightning speed.

Suga oppa came close to me and helped me to stand up inspecting my body fro any injured. Everyone start to whisper around. Some even planed to run away, but couldn't knowing that would be the death of them. I searched for Yunna and saw her standing at the same position with a blank face. But deep down I know she is suffering. I want to comfort her, but I am the one who caused her this pain.

Before I could approach her and talk to her a ear screeching scream was heard from the woods. Our eyes widened hearing that pain. It is clear that it was belong to Minwoo. Soon after Jungkook came into our view covered in blood. Everyone gasped. And that's when I noticed the head he is holding in his hand. The sight made me want to throw-up. My wolf stirred inside my body seeing this side of her mate. No matter how much Minwoo hurt me, this is still ruthless in my eyes. But he isn't known as the beast for nothing. This is him. This is the real alpha side of Jeon Jungkook.

He threw the head into middle and turn towards to Hyungsik grave where all the pack members stood and let out a loud growl. That's when I realized this beast wouldn't satisfy from one person's blood. He wants blood. He wants everyone's blood who dared to go against his mate.

"Petal do something. You are the only one who can tame him." Suga oppa mind-linked me scared to utter those words loud knowing better that his life would be in danger if Jungkook heard that. I know I have to do something. Or else it would only four of us leaving this place alive.

"Jungkook STOP!" I yelled making him dead stop on his track who was walking towards visibly shaking crowd. "You can't hurt them. They are my pack members Jungkook. As their alpha it is my duty to protect them. And I will do it. Please Jungkook don't make this any hard for me." I said softly. He turn towards me and I noticed his eyes started to  change color. But it didn't change as I want. His red and silver eyes totally turn into silver indicating that is wolf is in full control.

"These filthy dogs betrayed you. And you still want to protect them love?" he asked pointing at the crowd with disgust and anger. I looked at the crowd and saw everyone starring at me with hopeful eyes. In their eyes I am their life savior. I gave them a reassuring smile making relief wash over them, but someone wasn't happy at my behavior at all. Nick let out a loud growl making everyone stiff again. I sighed and slowly walked towards him. No matter how furious he is, I know that he would never hurt me. He watched my every step silently starring at me intensely. I got closer to him and wrapped both my hands around his bloody figure. He stiffed not expecting a hug from me. Like seriously who would hug a beast that covered in someone else blood.  I wanted to cringe when the blood came contact with my skin, but hold it back for the sake of innocent lives. This is the only way I can calm him.

"Please Nick! I want to go home. Take me home." I pleaded and soon after he wrapped his hands around my body relaxing into my touch. And I knew at that moment that I tamed the beast.

*Yunna's pov*

It is evening now. And Shenu is still locked up in her room. After we return to the dorm earlier today morning she straightly ran to the room and avoid talking to anyone. Neither did I. Not a word exchange between us. Namjoon oppa had to take care of everything what happened back in there and that rouge boy joined her pack today. The rituals would be held ones Shenu is ready to do so. Seriously I can't believe she is the Alpha of my mate's pack. Everyone is worried sick about her to notice the mood change of mine. I am suffering in my own sorrow. But no! I am not gonna suffer alone. I will make her suffer too. She is the reason behind all of this. She will have to pay for this.

I walked to the living room and found everyone sitting there probably worried about their precious princess. Well too bad! I will make them forget about her today.

"Oppa let's all go to the club today." I suggest to the Jungkook standing in the center of them.

"NO" They all yelled in unison making me flinch.

"I am suggesting this to lighten up everyone's mood. Specially Shenu's." I said trying to convince them plastering the best smile in my face even though I am hurting deep down. It doesn't hurt much loosing my mate cause I never got a chance to meet him in the first place. Still it's my mate. And she killed him. Jin oppa sighed getting my attention back.

"Shenu doesn't have pleasant memories with club Yunna." he said. Of course it's always about Shenu.

"I am fine oppa! Lets go." We all turn our heads toward Shenu who just entered the room. She looked at me with a unreadable expression which I returned with a sweet smile hiding my hatred towards her. Her brows immediately furrowed seeing that.

"Are you sure pumpkin?" Tae oppa asked concern and received a short nod from her before she disappeared again.

"Just go and enjoy guys. Don't worry! I am here with her. Lets the girl have some fun alone." I said shooing the boys away from us. They all kept hesitating to leave us alone after we came to the club. They didn't get much time to talk with Shenu cause I wanted her to drive with me while they used their van. After back so many convenience we was finally able to send them away.

"Are you okay Yunna?" Shenu asked once we received our drinks. What is wrong with her? She is acting weird today. She kept quite in the whole ride till now. Is she know something about my mate bond? Nah! I didn't tell it to anyone.

"Yah I am totally fine." I said with a smile. She looked unconvinced but shrugged it off not wanting to push more. She looks like she is giving me space. "Hey can I use your phone? I forgot mine in the car." she nodded her head and handed me her phone which I grabbed and excused myself to use restroom.

After back some time I return from the restroom I asked the boys to return to dorm telling that my head hurt. And being the fake angle Shenu is she convinced them to agree with me. I was somehow able to make Jungkook drive for me. Shenu gave her purse to Tae oppa and helped me to walk supporting my weight on her body.

"Oppa can buy me a pain killer from the pharmacy? There is a one near the club. It's just five minute walk." I asked Jungkook softly showing my best painful expression still hanging on Shenu's shoulder for support. The skin-ship made me disgust, but I have to do it if

"Sure! We can buy it on the way."

"No no oppa! It's on the opposite way. Please oppa." I pleaded. He eventually gave in with a sigh and walked away. And somehow I was able convince others to leave first as Jungkook disappeared from our sight. They doesn't want at first, but gave in when both of us sat inside my car convincing them that we would be safe until Jungkook return.

"Oh shit!" I cursed gaining Shen's attention once the boys left. Everything is going according to my plan. This is the final move. "I forgot your phone in the restroom. Can you go and take it Shenu?" I asked showing a apologetic look and succeed when she got the bite. I mentally celebrated when she disappeared and Jungkook came into my view. Mission accomplished!

*Jungkook's pov*

When I returned back I only found Yunna there. When I asked where the other are hoping for know about Shenu specially she said that they already left and urged me to leave the club. I was so disappointing at not getting chance to talk with Shenu. I want to talk to her and checked waht is wrong with her cause she is clearly upset about something. I can feel it. All of us can. But she keeps avoiding all of us since morning. The whole car ride Yunna's phone kept vibrating and she avoid it telling that it is not important. I noticed that there is something off with her too since morning. What is wrong with these girls?

When we returned to the dorm and entered the living room I found everyone sitting there while Tae and Namjoon hyung walked back and forth in panic. Once we entered everyone's head snapped towards us and their eyebrows furrowed. They looked behind us like waiting for someone else to walk in.

"What is wrong guys?" I questioned their odd behavior

"Yunna where is Shenu?" J-hope hyung asked making me more confused. Didn't she return with them? I looked at Yunna's paled face and she stiffed once she met with my questioning glance. Suddenly her phone start to vibrate again and this time Namjoon oppa walked towards her holding his phone into his ear and snatched her purse away from her to grab the phone. And that's when we all realized that it was Shenu's phone. Namjoon hyung hang out his call and narrowed his eyes at her.

"Where heck is she girl?" Suga hyung yelled making her flinch from his hard tone.

"I-I mhhh... I-" she trailed off making me pissed.

"What?" I snapped at her

"She went inside to the club and I forgot her." She said in a rush taking a step back when my eyes turned red.

"You mean you left her outside in this freezing cold when she doesn't even have her phone or money to return home?" Jimin asked standing up from the couch to approach her. I heard the click of a door and that's when I realized Tae is gone.

"I forgot." Those words from Yunna caught my attention back. And that's it.

*Slap*

She dropped to the floor holding her now red cheek with blood oozing side from her mouth. Everyone gasped but no one dared to utter a word.

"How dare you?" I yelled at her face beyond furious and she covered in fear. I know hitting a girl is not acceptable, but this girl just hurt my mate. And I would not tolerate that.

"Why are you all supporting her? She is killer. She killed my mate. She killed Hyungsik to become the alpha. She is power hungry monster." Yunna yelled while tears flowing down her face. I release a low growl threateningly making her shut her mouth.

"Did you ever asked why she killed him in the first place Yunna?" Jimin questioned helping her to stand up. He is as angry as others but after all this is a girl who just found out about the death of hr mate. So someone have to show some mercy on her.

"Even she hadn't killed him, he still wouldn't be your mate Yunna. Cause he kidnapped Shenu and he wanted to mark her. Why? Simply because he can control Jungkook using her." Namjoon hyung explained making Yunna's eyes wide.

"That bastard tried to kill Jungkook. That's why her wolf had to kill him. Other wise both of you and Jungkook would have been suffering today seeing your mate with someone else." Suga hyung snapped beyond pissed at her.

"I-I-" She trailed off but I stopped her.

"Save it! I want you out from this dorm tomorrow morning. Be thankful that Nick is locked inside my body. Otherwise you would be six feet under  the ground by now." I said  rather harshly. Cousin or not I would never let her near my mate from now on.

"How could all of us be so careless? My poor baby!" Jin hyung said worried.

*Shenu's pov*

I sat on the bench in the empty park thinking about my life. What I have gotten myself into? Never thought my life choice would lead me into this mess. My life wasn't perfect before, but compared to now it was bearable before.

"I thought you would be here!" I heard that deep voice as the scent of caramel and honey caught my attention. I turn my head towards Tae and he sat next to me. Of course he would know that I would be here since he is the one who showed me this park when I revealed my life story to him. It's not like I can't go to the dorm. It's just I want some time alone. So this is the best place for that. We both stared at the sky silently for few minutes.

"I am not strong enough to be a Luna oppa. See how she was able to trick me easily? One of you always have to be next to me to protect me. I am just a burden oppa." I sadi finally breaking the silence.

"Don't you dare say that." He turn his head towards me and glared at me. "You was able to bear the every pain Jungkook threw towards you, go through every shit he made and most of it you was able to tame that beast and now you are telling you are not strong?"  he grabbed both my hands. "You are stronger than you think petal. Both physically and mentally. That's why you are still here." He said softly and planted a soft kiss into my forehead. " I am always here for you pumpkin." He said once he released me from his hold and turn his head towards the sky again staring at the stars.

I took this time to admire his gorgeous face. Those thin long lips, sharp nose with a sexy mole on top of it, eye-conic two eyes with thick long lashes and those sharp jaw-lines would make any girl go on their knees for him. It's look like God took some personal time to create him. He looks breathtaking and his attitudes matched his look. He is kind, innocent, friendly and caring. He is everything a girl could wish for. Who ever his mate is, she is lucky. He would be a perfect partner, a perfect friend, a perfect son and a perfect father one day.

"If only you was my mate life would be easier for me." I thought not realizing that I voiced out it. He chuckled still looking at the sky.

"I am pumpkin." he said with a amusement smile plastered on his face.

"Huh?" I looked at him with narrowed eyes confused. What did he mean? He turn his head towards me and that smile vanished placing it with a serious look. I was about to open my mouth again to speak but froze when his next sentences hit me like a truck.

"You are not only his but also mine. I am also your mate."
