*Jungkook's pov*

What the hell is wrong with this girl?

That's the only thing ran in my mind as I chased my mate in the woods. She has been pissing me off for the past week. Why? Cause I simply controlled her on that day in the university. So she is taking her revenge. I pushed my paws harder against the ground and fasten my space to catch up to her. As I got closer she doubled her speed to leave me behind. She is again using her vampire speed. It's not much for me cause as the strongest alpha I am faster than anyone else which including vampires. But my wolf is letting her run ahead of us cause he is really enjoying this chase for his little mate.

After we return home from the university that day she straight away called Jisoo and went with her to the pack house. For the past week she stayed in the pack house without us. When ever we return to the pack house she would leave to the dark shadow pack to handle her alpha duties with Tae and Namjoon hyung. Namjoon hyung is still against the idea of becoming the alpha of that pack. So she is taking him with her to make him get comfortable with that pack. And Tae is joining them for her protection. There is still some pack members who are loyal to their passed alpha.

So the only times I would get to see her was when she is working with us and at the lunch time in university. What pissing me off was either time she would be with a male. Unlike before she would flirt with our male staff members and some of guys in the university. I threatened her telling that I would let Nick out, but she threatened me back telling if I did that she would shift too and would shift back to her human form that instantly reveling her naked glory. Now no where in hell I would let others to see my mate's body. So I have to swallow my pride and watch whatever she is doing knowing that she is true to her words.

Last night when we return back to the pack house she invite every teen in the pack to watch a horror movies. Of course we have to join because of Jin hyung being unable to avoid her puppy eyes for the second time. Woobin also wanted to join us. But Shenu chased him away telling that he wouldn't let Jisoo to enjoy the movie. I got why she did that the next minute when the movie started. Can you believe the girl who teased my hyungs for a week for getting scared at a horror movie was screaming for every single move in that horror movie had and kept her body glued to Jisoo just to annoy me. I would have jump on her and dragged her away if it's not for the girl who stayed clingy to my arm. Yunna. Instead of watching the horror movie everyone decide to watch drama going between me and my mate with amusement.

She didn't stop it from there. Today she decide to play a basket ball match between girls after our training. We all freshened up and gathered in the back yard. All the teenagers joined us to watch the match. And that's where the my patience blew off. Shenu came down wearing a short skirt and a jersey. When everyone gathered to start the match she removed her jersey revealing a black sport bra underneath it. Due to the training she lost her weight and now she has a perfect slim body. I liked her previous body more. Everyone whistled at her perfect body except me and boys who are so annoyed with her dress choice. It's freaking cold here and she decide to wear this. Okay! I would be honest. It's not about the dress cause we don't have worry about the cold due to our hot tempered body. It's because that was the first time she wore something that reveal that much of her body and I don't like that at all. She is mine. I am the only one allowed to see her body.

A furious growled escape from my mouth and I stood up to walk closer to her. She instantly backed away and let out a warning growl,but I didn't care I had enough of this. Nick is in the edge. He is more pissed than me at our mate behavior. I saw her canines extend and her nail sharpened indicating that she was about to shift like her warned. I wouldn't let that happen. I fasten my steps and jump on top her shifting to my pitch black wolf in the mid-air. She was quick move and ran away to the woods. And that's how we ended up here. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice she paused on her track making me bump on to her body. I stumbled on the floor and it took me few seconds to regain my balance. When I looked ahead she was nowhere in my sight. Shit! She tricked me. I tried to trace her scent but couldn't. She has hidden it again. I ran deep into the wood hoping to find her. And when I got closer to the lake I heard a ear screeching scream which belongs to my mate.

I fasten my space and ran towards the lake to see my mate is staring at something on the other side of the lake with wide eyes. I looked where she is staring at and saw a pair of purple eyes through the bushes. My alpha instincts kicked in and I jump in front of her in a protective stance and growled at whatever behind the bush. It vanished away the instant I growled at it. I was about to chase it but stopped when Nick remind of my mate. She was still staring at that direction with wide eyes.

"Are you okay?" I min-linked her which broke her out of her shocked trance. She blinked several times and nodded her head. I wasn't concern with her answer. There is definitely something wrong "What is it?" I questioned her. With that question she dropped to the floor clutching her heart. Her breathing was fast and she is really trying her hard to control her beating heart. There is nothing more than I want to shift back and hugged her to comfort, but I know she wouldn't approve being hugged by a naked male at the moment. When she was running away from that male a few minutes ago.

"I don't know what was that, but my wolf is on the edge. What ever was there, my wolf didn't like it." She said after she calmed down a little. "I feel uneasy!" She said still struggling to calm her wolf.

"Get on my back. I will take you back to the pack house and also that will help your wolf to calm down." I said and lowered my body to her to get on. Beside the situation Nick was more than happy to carry his mate cause he know that she would have no other choice than to hug our body when we start to run. She got on us and wrapped her hands around us which calmed her beating heart instantly.

'Finally!'Nick mumbled with a sigh when her skin contact with ours after back a week.

"ARGHHHHH......" I woke up to the sound of Yunna screaming in the down-stair. What is all with these screaming?

I went down stair alarmed to see Yunna in the kitchen holding a saucepan pointing it at a unknown male figure who stood in front of asking or more like begging her to be quite. I instantly caught the scent of the man and realized that he is were-wolf.

What a wolf is doing at our dorm? After the earlier incident I sent warriors to check on the border and inform everyone about that. We all returned to the dorm deciding it's more safety for now. Cause who ever that person was he or she has a effect on my mate. It was late when returned so we called it a night the soon we entered.

The wolf still didn't notice me which was a big mistake from his part. I quickly punch him from the behind and knocked him to the floor. I got top of him turning his body to see a young boy who looked like 18 or 19. Soon I heard footsteps and boys were in the kitchen. The young boy underneath me was trembling in fear seeing my darken eyes. He instantly realized who I am from the strong dominate aura I am letting out. I got off of him and dragged him to the living room. I punched behind his kneel making him knelled down. Everyone surrounded him.

"What's going on?" we heard a sleepy voice mumbling. We all looked where the voice came and saw my mate standing at the edge of the stairs wearing a over sized pajama which looked cute on her while rubbing her sleepy eyes. We all cooed at her forgetting the situation which made Yunna scoff to get our attention back.

"Nothing petal! It's just a rouge broke into our house." Suag hyung said walking closer to her. She grabbed her hand but his eyes widened suddenly. He instantly dashed away from there to his room using his vampire speed and soon return with a coat. He covered her and dragged her to the couch where she lay down like it's her bed. Why she is cold? She is a were-wolf. I gave Suga hyung a look like 'we will talk about that later'. With that I turn back to the boy I am holding down.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" I questioned tightening my grip around his neck.

"P-Please Don't h-harm me a-alpha." he shuttered in fear. "I ran a-away from my p-pack and I-I just got here for f-food." I growled at him.

"How did you get in?" Tae asked the boy in a stern voice still being cautious of him.

"T-The door w-was open." We all cursed under our breath. How can we be so careless. I growled at the boy and was about to ask more questions....

"He is telling the truth. Give him some food and let him go." Shenu mumbled in a sleepy tone with closed eyes. Judging by her voice she will fall into her slumber any moment. "Also meet me tomorrow evening. I will let you join my pack." She mumbled which was barely audible if it wasn't for our were-wolfs hearings. I released the boy and nod my head at Jin hyung signaling him to get some food. The boy slowly stood up still refusing to look at my eyes showing his submission.

When Jin hyung returned with food the boy took it with eager and mumbled few thank you with a innocent smile. I almost pitied him.

"W-Which pack?" the boy asked in a soft tone still scared of us looking at my mate who didn't even budge to his voice. We all stayed silence waiting for her answer, but it never came which made us assumed that she is already sleeping.

"Dark shadow pack!" I answered his question on behalf of my mate. The boy tensed hearing that and his eyes widened. He immediately shook his head. "What is it?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him.

"I can't join that pack."

"And why is that?" Namjoon hyung asked a little loudly  taking a step closer to the boy.

"Shhhhhh..! Don't wake up our sleeping beauty." Jin hyung shushed him earning a apologetic look from Namjoon hyung. We all turn our heads toward boy waiting for his answer.

"There are rumors telling that the new alpha of that pack doesn't want the title. It's running under the beta's control. A pack without a alpha isn't strong. So the rouges are planing to attack anytime soon." he explained his reasons which made all of us tensed. If rouges try to attack that would put my mate's life in danger with a entire pack.

"We will talk about that. Since she ordered, you better come and meet her." J-hope hyung said.

"No!" I said quickly. " I don't want her to find out this and get stress over it. There is lot on her plate now. We can't add this one also. We will have to find a solution soon." Everyone nodded their head in understand except Yunna who glared at Shenu's sleeping figure. Jealousy was evident on her eyes. She is obviously jealous that we care about Shenu.

"Meet us in the full moon pack day after tomorrow. You better come boy." Namjjon hyung said in a warning tone to the boy who nodded his head hurriedly. We can't meet him tomorrow cause we have a award function to attend.

Jimin escort the boy out while all of us turn our head towards the girl who is sleeping soundlessly on the couch.

"Suag hyung what was that before?" I asked as Jimin came inside to join us.

"When I grabbed her hands it was freezing cold Jungkook." he said with wide eyes remembering the earlier scene.

"It's abnormal!" Jin hyung said kneeling in front of her to touch her forehead. And instantly yanked away his hand making us realized that her body is still cold.

"Her wolf is getting sick." Namjoon hyung said suddenly making all of us confused. It very rare to see a wolf getting sick. "When was the last time she shift?" he asked us with a sigh.

"When she killed Hyungsik. And it was two months before." Tae said as he is the one who knows everything about her. Sometimes that gets me bothered, but I trust him with her.

"That's the problem. It has been two months since she last shifted. It's not good for her health.Her wolf has been locked inside her body for so many years. Now it want a release. Since she isn't letting it, that make her wolf sick and weak. This is not good for her." Namjoon hyung explained which got all of us worried.

"She is scared to let Jewel out hyung. " Tae reason out. "She still doesn't know anything about her wolf. So she needs some time to figure everything out." We all nodded our head in understand yet we all are worried about her.

I got closer to her and lifted her cold body from the couch bridal-style. She snuggled closer to my warmth chest in her sleep making me hold back a satisfied moan from our skin contact. Nick purred inside my mind.

'Sleep with the mate. She needs us.' Nick said inside my mind. That is a way of healing a wolf. A mate's contact can heal a wolf faster.

"Sleep everyone. We will talk about this later. Yunna go to your room. Shenu will sleep in my room tonight." I said taking everyone by surprise. Yunna was about to open her mouth and protest but couldn't as I quickly walked away caring my peacefully sleeping mate in my hands.

I entered the room and slowly laid her on my bed and got on the other side of the bed removing my t-shirt which I hurriedly wore when I got down-stair earlier. Switching off the lights I pulled her body closer to mine and wrapped my hand around her waist. This will keep her body warm and would calm her wolf. That stubborn wolf choose her human over her mate. If she forced Shenu to stay near to us she wouldn't have get sick like this. Since she isn't shifting she needs her mate near to her keep her wolf calm and comfortable. But she is too stubborn to let that happen. Now look who is suffering. Hopefully this would help her wolf for a while.

I pulled the blanket over our bodies and stared at my mates peaceful sleeping face which buried on my chest. I don't know what came into my mind but I couldn't resist the urge to kiss her forehead. So I pressed a long warm kiss to her forehead.

"Good night Angel!"
