Chapter 12

*Taehyung's pov*

"Oppa! give me the key. Namjoon oppa said that I can drive today." Shenu said sweetly at Jin hyung stopping him from getting in to the driving seat.

After we return from the America things between Her and Jungkook got more awkward. They both kept avoiding each other and day by day the rest of us are getting more attached to her bubbly personality. I don't know how can Jungkook avoid her. He really has a great control unlike me who can't stand to see her in pain.

"You can drive?" Jin hyung asked surprised. We are heading to the company to discus about our new album which we gonna release soon and as always we are late cause any of us weren't early birds. After that me, Suga hyung and Shenu decide to go on shopping to buy something for Jungkook since his birthday is nearing.

"Trust me oppa! I am faster than you." she grabbed the key and went on sitting in the driving seat but I didn't miss the evil smirk she has on her face when she said that. I smell something is fishy. I looked at Jungkook and saw he was smirking too. He must have felt that she is up to something.

"Look like today's ride gonna be fun" Jungkook mind-linked me and that moment I knew that we are so gonna regret this.

"That was a ride to the hell and back." Suga hyung said holding his chest with a pale face. We are in the parking lot of the company. Usually it would take minimum 45 minutes to drive hear but today we are here within 15 minutes.

"Next time remind me to never let her drive." Namjoon hyung who was in the passenger seat said clutching his seat belt like it held his life. Jin hyung was already passed out in my lap, J-hope hyung was throwing up in a plastic bag, Jimin was shaking and in the verge of crying. Today was the day that I learnt all the cussing words in the world. Some from our own members and some from the other drivers. We all are in the verge of crying except Jungkook and Shenu who are laughing their ass off at us. Evil maknaes. No wonder they are mates.

*Shenu's pov*

"Wow! oppa you are the best" I said clapping my hands at J-hope oppa who showed me a solo dance of his since others were busy with their own works in the practice room.

"I am glad you liked it Shenu." he said and caught the water bottle I throw at him successfully. I have to say he is a great dancer, his dance moves were no joke.

"Oppa if you don't mind can you do a dance with me. I have a song in my mind since a long time but I didn't had a suitable partner." I said all excitedly. Suddenly I am having this urge to perform a dance with him. Who wouldn't? He is a great dancer.

"You can dance?" he asked surprised sitting next to me and I just simply nodded my head at him.

"We can practice it when we both are free and finally when we are ready we can show it to the others. So what you say?" I asked raising my brows at him. I really hope he would accept my offer.

"Of course I would love to dance with you princess." he said with a fond smile making my smile widen. "Hope Jungkook wouldn't kill me for touching you while dancing." he said the rest staring at Jungkook who was busy flirting with a staff member named Hanna in the corner of the room. A alpha wouldn't like that his mate having too much skinship with an other men. So I understand what he meaned.

"He wouldn't care oppa." I said looking at the floor. I don't feel jealous anymore about him flirting with females. I just feel the pain in my heart because of the bond I think. He sighed and was about to say something but before he can say anything my phone start to ring.

It is a video call from my mum. I am talking to her after back a long time. I couldn't contact her properly because of all the things going in my life right now. I wish she was here to support me. Since I am free now I excused my self and went to a corner of the room to have a little chat with my mum.

*Jungkook's pov*

I noticed Shenu going to a corner of the room with a grin in her face. She looked so eager to answer that call. She answered the call as soon as she reached a corner  and waved sweetly at her phone. Since she is using her earphones I can't hear what the other person is saying which made me wonder who makes her this much happy in that call, but I instantly relaxed when she greeted that person saying 'Mum'.

She looked so happy to have a video call with her mum. They must be close. She was just having a chit-chat with her mum, so I didn't want to pay much attention but the next thing she said caught all my attention towards her conversation.

"Mum where is my Zack?" She asked getting excited all of sudden. Even though she is speaking in english I can understand what she is talking about, cause my english is way more better than before.

"Who is Zack?" I asked trough the mind-link from hyungs who were also paying attention to her call. Come to think of it I don't know much about her.

"We don't know. She never mention this name before." Tae hyung mind-linked back as confused as me.

"Oh my baby I saw you after back a long time." she said cooing at the phone. What the heck? 'Baby?'

"I really miss you sweetheart. Do you miss me?" she said making kissing faces at her phone.

"What the heck is she doing? And who the heck is this Zack?" I yelled in the mind-link. My wolf is fuming with anger. He wants to take control and mark her right there right now to make sure she is ours, What?... No!... I mean to say his.

"Are you jealous Jungkook? We never asked about her dating life. Maybe Zack is her boyfriend." Jimin mind-linked back making me growl at him. She can't have a boyfriend. I am her mate.

'I will kill this Zack dude' My wolf growled in my head.  If he takes control now it would be a big mess. I have to stop him before he expose us to the humans here who are unaware of us.

"Someone do something before Nick take control over me" I warned them and saw their faces paling. Now they would get serious for sure. No one want to face Nick's wrath. He would be the last person you would ever wish to meet. Tae being the closest to her went near her to check who is this Zack. Suddenly he start laughing like a crazy old man looking at her phone from the back.

" No wonder why she loved Zack" he mind-linked while laughing hard clutching his stomach.

"What the heck Tae? What's so funny?" Suga hyung asked pissed. I am beyond pissed right now, cause my wolf is making a chaos inside me right now.

"It's a dog hyung. Zack is her pet." with said that everyone burst into laugh making others look at us like we are crazy except me. I was dumbfound. Did We get jealous over a dog?

After we finished our work we headed to the van to get in. As usual Tae went to the back and Shenu followed him. Three people can sit in the back seat. Normally I would sit in the passenger seat to avoid her, but today I want to sit next to her to calm myself and my wolf after earlier incident. Jimin was about to go to the back but I stopped him and sat next to her taking everyone by surprise.

She was in the middle of the me and Taehyung which allowed me to smell her sweet jasmine and vanilla scent that calmed me instantly. The ride was silent cause everyone was too surprised at my sudden behavior to talk. I notice that she is creating a gap between us getting closer to Tae. Her body was particularly glued to Taehyung's body. I didn't like it at all. I got close to her and put my bag in the other side of me making her sandwich between me and Taehyung. Our skin brushed and tingled ran down my body.

'Ah! how I missed this!' my wolf howled in joy. Everyone who noticed that I am making myself glued to her body gave me a questioning look.

"What? I need a space to keep my bag." I said like it is the most obvious thing. Shenu just stared at me for a few minutes.

"Tae oppa can you switch the seat with me?" she asked from Taehyung who was looking at outside of the window to avoid this awkwardness.

"Sure pumpkin" he said. She stand up and was about to switch her seat with him, but I grabbed her hand make her sit back.

"Stay" I said simply staring at her. She stared at me for few seconds like trying to read my mind and turn her head to the other side releasing her hand from my grip. I know she is feeling happy that I wanted to sit with her. I feel it but she is trying hard to not to show it. I showed my head back while rubbing my forehead in frustration because of this bond. It is hard to avoid her because of this bond.

"I hate the moon goddess" I mumble to my self which made her little happiness vanished that instantly. Everyone glared at me for saying that except Shenu who had tears in her eyes. It sadden my wolf seeing his mate dark brown eyes filled with tears.

"You can't Jungkook! No matter how much you try, You can't hate the moon goddess. And deep inside your heart you know that." she said in a deep voice which wasn't her normal voice. That voice gave me goosebumps all over my body. What was that? Everyone in the van including me who heard her voice stared at her with wide eyes. She blinked her tears away and turn her head to the other side towards the road avoiding all of our gazes.

She is correct. After all that happened in my life because of the moon goddess, I still can't hate her. No matter how many times I try, deep down my heart I know that I simply can't hate the moon goddess.

Why? Why can't I hate her?
