A Simple Favor
Y/N POV
Today is our one year anniversary. I know. One full year of being with the love of my life. And we still haven't moved in together. Or told anyone about us.
Over the course of the press tour, fans and the media started to suspect that maybe we are, but neither Blake nor I have confirmed it. I'm honestly totally ready to tell the world. I'm surprised I was able to keep it secret this long anyway.
I haven't really talked to my girlfriend about it much though. I know that coming out is a very scary thing for her, and I'll wait a million years for her if it made her feel safe. From what I've seen on social media regarding our ship though, people seem more than happy to think it's real, and the support we've gotten even though no one know's if it's true, it insane.
My Mom is happy for the two of us, and ever since I got her away from David or whatever the fuck his name is, she and I have been rebuilding our relationship. It's been slow going, working through everything, but we're making progress. Blake and Cameron have been super supportive, which helps a lot.
Blake and Cameron have actually gotten very close, which makes me really happy. I finally have a small little family to call my own.
The other thing that's made me really happy, is that our movie was released last month, and it's a huge hit in the box office. Thanks to Blake, I actually have my name out there now, so directors know who I am.
Anyway, back to the part about today being our one year anniversary. I've been waiting for at least four months for her to ask me to move in, and I'm hoping that today could be the day. I practically live in her house anyway, time to make it official.
I rubbed my eyes, slowly waking up. I flung my arm onto Blake's side of the bed, groaning tiredly when I felt the cold sheets. I've never been much of a morning person, so it took me like ten minutes just to sit up.
But then, I smelled the heavenly scent of waffles, and suddenly I was wide awake. I shot out of bed and flew down the hall way into the kitchen.
"WAFFLES!" I said, launching myself into the strong arms of Blake. "Hey baby." She laughed, catching me without hesitation. I nuzzled my face into her neck and inhaled her smell. She smells like happiness.
"I thought you were sleeping, I was going to surprise you with breakfast in bed. I guess this works too though." She chuckled, kissing my cheek.
"I smelt waffles so I woke up." I told her, giggling. The blonde smiled and walked over to the large island, setting me down on it.
"We can eat here." She grabbed the plate full of food from the counter and set it next to me.
"Open up princess." She said, holding a chocolate covered strawberry to my lips. I gladly accepted the offered food, smiling contently.
"You're so cute." She murmured, feeding me a piece of warm, fluffy waffle.
I made a silly face and swallowed the bite before puckering my lips, asking for a silent kiss. The blue eyed woman stepped between my legs and set her hands on my waist.
She captured my lips in a sweet, loving kiss, her thumb rubbing the exposed skin under my shirt. After all, I'm only dressed in short shorts and one of Blake's shirts.
She pulled away, another strawberry in her hand. Before she could feed it too me though, I took it from her hands and flipped the tables, pressing it to her dusty pink lips. She didn't open her mouth though, so I narrowed my eyes at her.
She laughed and took a bite, a satisfied smirk on her face.
We continued to feed one another until we were both full, and all the food was gone.
"That was delicious, thank you baby." I said, kissing my girlfriend. She grinned, her blue eyes sparkling.
"So I wanted to ask you something, and I've been thinking about this for a while, but seeing that it's our one year today, I thought this would be the perfect time."
"Oh yeah? As away my love." I said, pulling her closer to me by my hips. The taller women chuckled and licked her lips.
"Well...I was wondering if you'd like to move in with me? You basically live here anyway, and I don't like sleeping without you."
"Awww! Baby!" I grinned, kissing her once more. "I'd love to move in with you. I've been waiting for you to ask me this for months."
The actress snorted. "Well I'm sorry I made you wait so long."
"It's fine, I'll survive." I said, playfully faking drama like a damsel in distress.
"Oh I have no doubt you will." She pressed her soft lips to my own, and we kissed until it was hard to breath.
When we pulled away, she rested her forehead against mine, her breath tickling my face.
"I love you." I said, smiling. God, this woman makes me so happy.
"I love you more. Happy anniversary baby girl."
