Tang Tragedy
"You want a store, right? This is something our Master Bing decides- you could talk to him if you want?" Fabai pushed Mrs. Tang into Qibingâs direction.
"I... Master Bing, itâs like this. Weâd like a store, if thatâs alright..." Mrs. Tang said nervously as she looked at Master Bing, who was clearly the person in charge here. He had an air of solemnity to him, and Mrs. Tang didnât really dare clash with someone like that.
"A store!" Master Bing wasnât looking at Mrs. Tang at all his pervy eyes were aimed at Tang Yin instead. "We can give you a store, sure, we wonât even charge you for it! But that depends on what you do!"
"What... I do? What do I do?" Mrs. Tang paused, not expecting that frmo Master Bing at all. Not only were they getting a store, they were even getting it for free! That didnât make the slightest sense, and it wasnât very likely that this person was doing this out of kindness, too.
"Thatâs your daughter, isnât it?" Master Bingâs eyes were full of lust as he looked at Tang Yin, "Iâm lacking a secretary here. Let her come with me and Iâll give you more than just a store. Iâll even give you two!"
Mrs. Tang blinked as she understood what he was after- Master Bing had his eyes on her daughter!
But was it even a good trade to buy a store with her daughter? Lin Yi didnât want her anymore, so maybe itâd be nice if she followed this Master Bing instead? What she was worried about, however, was whether or not the man would keep his promise.
Tang YIn glared at her mother, frustrated. She was clearly considering Master Bingâs condition!
But Tang Yin would never be interested in Qibing- sheâd never agree to the terms! She reached for her mother and pulled her away. "Mom, weâre leaving! We donât need that store!"
"I..." Mrs. Tang knew her daughter. She was someone whoâd die before sheâd get with someone she didnât like- there was no point in forcing her! Even her time with Lin Yi was voluntary, it was because she liked him!
This Qibing, on the other hand, was intent on playing with Tang Yin, that much was clear! He wouldnât let Tang Yin be his secretary if he really wanted her as her girlfriend.
"Letâs go!" Tang Yin turned around, finding Qibingâs face rather distatesteful.
"Go? You think you can just come and go as you please?" Li Erlai jumped out all of a sudden and stood in front of Mrs. Tang and Tang Yin, his tone threatening. "I say, Tang Yin, you got lucky that Master Bingâs interested in you! Donât make us do this the hard way, youâll get nothing in the end if you do!"
"Li Erlai, you traitor! Move!" Tang Yin said with a raised head, unwilling to back down. This Qibing obviously wasnât a good person, there was no way sheâd continue the discussion. Just because Lin Yi dindât want her anymore didnât mean that she should let herself go to waste like this! She had no intentions of being someoneâs plaything, sheâd rather be Lin Yiâs second wife!
"Tang Yin, was it? Let me tell you this- I, Zhao Qibing, have never failed when it came to women I have my eye on. If youâre smart youâd come with me quietly and enjoy the benefits. Youâll get all the stores you want, the houses you want. I canât say the same if you choose to do this the hard way!" Qibing announced with a cold laugh- he was feeling rather embarrassed that Tang YIn would reject him in front of this many people.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Back in the city girls would throw themselves at him if he just curled his finger to invite them- heâd assumed that Tang Yin would gladly come with him if he promised her some benefits, but hte girl seemed to have quite a personality!
"We donât want the store anymore, and weâre not moving. Weâll go back to our old place, alright? What can you do about that?" That was who Tang Yin was- sheâd rather ditch the house than let people bully her.
"Not moving? Alright then!" Qibing was planning on making an example out of someone in the first place- it seemed that the Tang family was the perfect target! He gave Fabai a look, and Fabai responded with a nod as he stood up, walking out of the plaza with Erlai.
Mrs. Tang looked at her daughter helplessly- sheâd destroyed the bridge for further discussion! It was impossible at this spoint, so she decided to give up on the store as well. She grabbed her daughterâs arm and started walking away.
"Did we say you could leave?" Gubang said coldly- now that Fabai and Erlai were gone, heâd become the spokesperson.
"Why do we have to stay when weâre not moving?" Tang Yin glared.
"Let them go. Theyâll regret this soon enough." Qibing said faintly, his voice confident. He could already hear the buzz of machinery in the distance.
The two women were confused- regret? But now that they were given the okay to leave there was no way theyâd stay. They started walking back home, planning on discussing their next move, not content with how things ended. What would they do without the store? They still had their dream of opening a barbeque restaurant!
The two were almost home when they saw a trenching machine reaching its arm at their house, slamming against the walls! Behind it was bulldozer, humming as it pushed into their yard, flattening the gate!
"Dad!"
"Old Tang!"
Theyâd screamed at the same time as they charged towards the house, not expecting Qibing to forcibly tear their house down like this- Jucheng was still home!
Tang Yin ignored all danger and charged inside as Mrs. Tang tried to stop the machines. The roof had already collapsed! Did it get Jucheng? He wouldnât be able to come out without someone helping him!
"What are you people doing?! My fatherâs in there, stop!" Tang YIn screamed as he ran in.
But a violent look flashed across Erlaiâs eyes. He turned to the driver beside him. "Tear the house down, sheâs lying! Master Bing said heâd take responsibility for what happens!"
The driver nodded and continued the destruction, and Tang Yin had no choice but to charge in the house- they werenât listening!
But the house couldnât be entered anymore- the bulldozer was blocking the way, stil moving forward as it backed the trenching machine in destroying the house!
The tiles from the roof started falling down, and Tang Yin didnât care anymore. Pumped with adrenaline for the sake of her father, she stepped on the shovel at the front of the bulldozer, tearing a big wound open in her leg. Blood gushed out, but Tang Yin didnât care as she continued her charge.
The trenching machineâs arm swung over, slamming against the roof right above Tang Yin as she entered the house- tiles erupted and fell down, one of the larger ones hitting Tang Yin square in the head, slicing open a seven cm wound that covered her face in blood- she fell down onto the ground and lost consciousness...
