Ivy frowns while rubbing the back of her head that waste still slightly throbbing. She instantly looks away from Hayden who's keep staring at her.

Vikram hands her the coffee again. Much to Ivy's annoyance, she had to shower into her eyes hurting pink bathroom.

She is wearing a pastel pink dress that easily reached down her knees. Hayden, Jayden and Vikram- she had only met her three stepbrothers. Jayden and Hayden are youngest and Vikram is second oldest.

"Hello stepsister." She looks back as she hears Jayden's voice. He is smiling at her but atleast it looks a little real in compare with Hayden.

"Umm hii." Ivy whispers lowly.

"Do you like your new room?" He asks.

Ivy just shrugs a little in response. A smile unconsciously comes across her lips when her phone starts to ring and Valentino's name pops on the screen.

She is about to pick it up but Jayden snatches it out from her hand.

"Wh-what are you doing?"

They are starting to get on her nerves now.

Her mouth drops when he suddenly throws her phone in her cup of coffee. It all happened in the blink of her eye.

Ivy was stunned for next ten seconds and then she suddenly snapped out of it.

"Are you out of your mind?" Ivy shouts at him in disbelief.

"These three days, they are strangers to you." Jayden replies while ruffling her hair.

Ivy swats his hand away angrily.

"You are crazy!"

"Oh little step sister, you are not the first one who is telling me this." He grinned creepily.

Ivy look towards Vikram only to find him busy on his phone. He is pretending like nothing has happened.

Few minutes ago she thought that maybe Vikram was nice but now she realized that he is also a jerk just like his brothers.

Feeling hurt and tired, Ivy stomps out from the kitchen but as she reached the door, she collides into someone.

The force was enough to knock her off her feet.

"Watch where are you going bitch!" A menacing voice growls.

Tears fills in the corner of her eyes because she managed to scrap her elbows with the fall.

"Cade!" Vikram says sternly.

Ivy feels his hand grabbing her arm and he hauls her up. Ivy looks up at Cade, supposedly her another stepbrother.

He's wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and a black trenchcoat. He was openly glaring at Ivy like she was nothing but a mere peasant.

Feeling nervous and scared under his hatred stare, she looks away form him.

Yes, that is what she needed in her life. A stepbrother who hates her by her guts!...

Vikram pulls her inside the kitchen again and brings out a first aid kit from somewhere.

Without a word, he starts to treat her bruises. Hayden was reading some book and Jayden was busy on his phone.

Cade was drinking from the bottle of liquor and he was too busy on the phone.

"Thank you." She whispers to Vikram when he applies a bandage on her elbow.

He just nods his head lightly when finished.

Ivy jumps down from the stool and frowning she makes her way out of the kitchen.

She is really missing her papa and brothers. Even the grumpy Eliza and Micah. She prays that these three days just go on fast so she could finally go back to her family.

A knock on the door startles her, snapping her out of her thoughts. She looks up as the door opens and her mother steps in.

"My sweet daughter." She smiles but it looks too sickly sweet. Uncomfortably Ivy starts to fiddle her fingers.

"Dinner is ready. Come downstairs. We have a lot to catch up on." Elena informes her and moves out of the room.

Ivy finally let out a sigh of relief but groans realizing that she would have to meet her so called family again.

She makes her way out of the bed but something out of the window catches her eye.

To take a better look, she moves closer towards the window.

Her eyes widened as she looks at the three guys that are kneeling down on the ground with few bodyguards in gray suits crowding around them.

A man in white satin shirt and black pants steps closer to them with his gun pointed at them.

Ivy's heart dropped when in the next second, those three guys bodies falls down limp.

Though Ivy didn't hear the sounds of gunshots and nor did she hear their screams but she knew that he killed them.

Suddenly that man looks up, straight in the direction where she was standing.

Ivy backs away in fear. It feels like he was staring directly at her. She wipes her sweaty forehead feeling nauseous.

"Ivy. Let's go." She looks in the direction of the door. It was Vikram standing in the doorway of her room.

Knowing there's no other choice, she follows him out.

Vikram glances at her from the corner of his eye. She looks pale like she had seen some ghost.

He didn't say anything but lead her in the direction of the dining area.

Seth, Elena and his three brothers are already present there. Ivy takes a seat beside Vikram.

Seth is talking to someone on the phone but his stare didn't move a inch away from Ivy. Feeling uncomfortable, Ivy looks down at the food in front of her.

Suddenly a sound of loud footsteps reaches everyone's ears. Ivy lifts her head to look up just like others.

Her heart falls in her ribcage when her eyes makes contact with the same man from downstairs.

"Oh my my! Sinister! My son, you are back already!" Elena smiles widely and stands up to hug the oldest brother.

I would like to clarify that in last chapter Vikram meant that he and twins are half-brothers including Cade and Sinister that are introduced in this chapter. Vikram, the second oldest doesn't share the same mother with the other four and no! Elena is not his real mother...
