Chapter 159
The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn
The Unwanted Bride Of Atticus Fawn Chapter 159 BOOK 2 CHAPTER 82 ~DAMON~
âWe canât do this on our own,â Atticus says. I knew we couldnât. Of course, we couldnât. Not when weâve been failing so far.
Itâs been a few hours since Autumn and Clarissa have been kidnapped.
We had no leads, and despite the money already spent, no one could help us find them. Weâd also been searching within those hours, and I felt restless. I had no idea what those psychopaths were doing with my mate. Iâve never been away from Clarissa for this long while, not knowing where she was. It was killing me inside.
âYouâre right.â I agree. âYou know exactly how Iâm feeling. If I donât find her soon, I will lose it.â
He nods, âIâve called Austin and his family over. Iâve already informed them of whatâs happening. Theyâre going to help us.â
âWhere the hell could he have them?â I ask him. âWeâd followed every lead possible, including everything Autumn has told us in the past. Why arenât we finding them?â
âHe must have moved,â Atticus answers me. âItâs the only explanation. But since they love being underground, I assume they are in a different location. Thatâs why itâs much harder to find them.â
âAnd what about the overlords?â I ask him. âWhat are we going to do when they find out that Clarissa is also a Reign?â
Frustrated, he closes his eyes, âI donât know, Damon. I was hoping that Autumn would never find her siblings. I know itâs a selfish wish, but I knew that her life would be in more danger once she found them. Now we know that Clarissa was her sister all along.
Thatâs insane. Together theyâre more powerful. Now all thatâs missing is their last sibling. I donât even want to think about it. All I want to do is find Autumn. We will deal with everything else after.â
I nod; I also want Clarissa back quickly. I didnât want to wait longer to have her back in my arms.
âTheyâre here!â My mother informs us.
Austin, Hunter, Isabella, Lucy, Arthur, and Gabriella are the six that I see. Where were the others?
Gabriella runs over to Atticus and hugs him, âAre you okay?â She asks.
He shook his head. âI feel like Iâm alive but barely breathing. I donât know where she is. I donât know what to do to find her.â
âWeâre here,â Austin tells us. âWe will find a way to get them back. One way or another, we will get them both back alive.â
Hunter nods at me, and I acknowledge his presence. âWhat do we know so far?â He asks.
âWe know that Skyler is responsible for taking them. Heâs the leader of Azaiâs remaining followers.â I answer him. âWe donât know much about them. They were hidden for so long, and almost all of the information about them has been destroyed.â
âHow did those men not burn alive?â Austin asks. He already knew of Clarissaâs power after Atticus gave him a summary of what had happened over the phone.
âI assume they must possess something that protects them from it,â I suggest. âI donât know what it is, but I wish those motherfuckers had died last night in that fire.â
âItâs possible that they also cannot be harmed by Azaiâs power; they are considered one. Clarissa and Autumn are both their princesses.â Gabriella says. âIf Clarissa and Autumn cannot hurt them, we at least can.â
It was true. I liked the way she thought. If they couldnât hurt them, we definitely could. And hurt them was exactly what I was planning on doing.
âI have someone who has eyes everywhere,â Hunter tells us. âI already got into contact with him. All we have to do now is wait for him to respond.â
Thatâs good. We needed someone like that to give us some good news.
âMaya and Kane, along with Eden and James, are already out there looking,â Austin tells me. âLucas is having some marriage problems and sadly could not make it. As you can tell, life with those Blackners isnât exactly easy.â
He didnât need to tell me that. I understood how hard it was for them not to be in love and marry someone who wasnât their mate.
Their rules were freaking insane.
âWhat are we waiting for?â I ask them. âWeâre wasting time just standing here and waiting for someone to tell us where to start looking.â
Atticus nods, âLetâs get the hell out of here.â
âIâm coming with you,â Dante tells me, and Iâm surprised he even said a word to me. Things werenât exactly good between us.
âIâm coming as well,â Willow says.
âNo.â Dante stops her. âYouâre not going anywhere.â
âWhy?â She demands. âAutumn and Clarissa have both been nothing but kind to me. Why canât I help search for them with the rest of you?â
âBecause your sister asked me to protect you, and thatâs exactly what Iâm going to f*****g do.â He answers her.
She looks disappointed by his words, but she doesnât try to change his mind. She steps back and allows him to move past her.
âWeâre coming as well.â My mother tells me. âTheyâre both our daughters, and we are getting them back.â
It felt good to hear her say that. I needed their support. I needed everyoneâs support to get Clarissa back.
âWe got it,â Hunter says suddenly.
âDo you know where to find them?â I demand, hopeful.
He nods, âI have information, and itâs exactly what we need right now.â
âLetâs go!â Austin shouts as we all follow him out of the house.
We got into different vehicles while Hunter led in his. I hoped that Hunter knew what he was talking about. He was usually good at finding missing people. Theyâd helped our family in the past, and I believed I could trust their word. If they said they knew where to look, we would blindly follow.
This was it.
Iâm coming for you, Clarissa. Iâm coming for you.
