She cotidnât help but wonder, âCould

Datlitig family? And wasnât their

After being slapped, Linda was also stunned.
"Danielle is your daughter? That doesnât make sense. Donât
you only have a daughter in her sophomore year?" Linda
clutched her reddened face and looked at the Darling family in
disbelief.
Josephâs icy gaze bore into them as he sneered, "Do we need
to report our family matters to you? Who do you think you
are? How dare you bully my sister? Prepare for the
consequences."
Ava was still fuming from being beaten up. When her mother
was criticized, she became more enraged. "It was Danielle
who hit us first. Youâre so unreasonable. No wonder sheâs like
this. Youâre all cut from the same cloth!"

âExactly! Weâre the real victims here. Canât you see how badly
weâve been beaten? Itâs all because of that wench!" Nancy
added, her voice dripping with venom as she was beaten
more severely.
Linda and Paula both signaled to their daughters with their
eyes, but the two girls were too busy talking to receive the
hint.
"Bruce," Davidâs cold voice interrupted
"Yes," a burly man responded before stepping forward and
slapping both Ava and Nancy across the face.
The two girls fell to the ground, coughing up blood and teeth.
