meals for Danielle in the future.
Danielle looked at the six dishes on the table. They were all home-cooked dishes, but most importantly, they were her favorite.
It struck Danielle how thoughtful David was-even her own family hadnât paid this much attention to her preferences. She wasnât fussy about food and simply ate whatever was put in front of her.
"It looks delicious," Danielle remarked. Each dish was simple but comforting-the kind of classic home-cooked meals she loved. Her family never knew these were her favorites, but this man did.
"Try this," David said, placing a piece of perfectly deboned fish onto her plate.
Danielle took a bite of the fish, her eyes meeting the manâs captivating gaze. He looked at her with a flicker of nervous anticipation.
âDid he actually make all of these?â Danielle wondered. Seeing the eager look in Davidâs eyes, Danielle didnât hesitate to offer her praise. "Itâs delicious," she said.
Relieved and overjoyed, Davidâs lips spread into a bright smile.
"Did you prepare all these dishes alone?" Danielle asked, staring at him with her beautiful eyes.
David nodded. "Iâm glad you like it," he said as he served food to her plate.
"I never imagined youâd be such a great cook," Danielle said warmly. She wasnât good at cooking, so she couldnât help but admire those who were.
"I learned to cook for you," David said bluntly. "As long as you like it, Iâll cook for you more often."
