Chapter 4
Untitled #40
Passion Pain Pleasure
What's the opportunity cost of living is it dying or a half life?
In a city with five banks and no real economy,
Dissect its autonomy and you reveal strife.
A place where a life is worth minimum wage
And government aid is reserved for another page.
Your life is in a box way before the clock strikes twelve.
Really you're a sacrifice
That was destined to be a prize.
Instead they put a price on your head
Now you're dead
The guild spill libations at your end.
Unburdened by guilt
They celebrate a life they didn't help to build.
