Chapter 876
Changing only for her (Sophie and Tristan)
Sandra and Simon were worried so they had been waiting for Sophie at the university. Seeing Sophie,
they immediately ran over.
âWhat exactly was the assessment in the afternoon?â
Why did it take her so long?
âTo do an operation,â Sophie replied calmly. It was nothing but an operation to her.
Although the operation was complicated, it was not like she had never seen such a complicated
operation.
All she needed to do was to stay calm during the operation.
âSo does it mean you can skip grades now?â asked Simon.
âYeah, Mr. Sawyer and the professors have agreed.â Sophie thought nothing of it.
Sandra breathed a sigh of relief.
âSophie, youâre awesome. But now that you have skipped grades, we wonât be able to hang out often in
the future.â
After all, their schedules would be different.
âItâs okay. If you two ever have any questions, you can come to me anytime.â
âOh, arenât we still able to meet each other at the medical association?â Simon said.
We donât have to be so sad, do we?
Sandra nodded.
âCongratulations, Sophie!â I envy Sophie. We work so hard every day and can barely keep up with the
courses, yet Sophie can simply skip to senior year.
âDonât compare yourself with me. If you do, you will only be sad.â What Sophie said was true. Everyone
had their own life plan. They only had to follow their own path and did not have to compare themselves
with others.
âAll right.â Sandra knew her own ability. She still needed to take things one step at a time.
âLetâs have dinner together tonight as a celebration for Sophie! My treat!â Simon proposed.
âNot tonight. I have other things to do.â
âOh, I see. Okay, then. We can do it another day. Letâs have a meal together when youâre free.â Simon
was a little disappointed.
But when he thought about it, he knew that Sophie would undoubtedly spend such a day with Tristan.
âIâm going back, then.â
âOkay. Take care.â
It was not until Sophie got into a taxi that Simon came back to his senses.
âAre you okay, Simon?â When a person liked someone, their gaze would always follow them
involuntarily.
Alas, Simonâs feelings for Sophie could only remain unrequited forever as it could not change Sophieâs
feelings at all.
âWhy wouldnât I be?â
Meanwhile, the university had already posted the notice of Sophie skipping grades on its official social
media account, including her theoretical knowledge assessment in the morning.
After seeing those questions, the students of the University of Medicine were despondent.
They did not understand how Sophie could be this capable when they could not even understand the
answers after working so hard.
It made them feel depressed.
As for the doctorate students of the University of Medicine, they had to study, research, and discuss
among themselves to understand Sophieâs answers.
At the same time, Sophie had already gone to pick up her boyfriend from work, not bothered by the fact
that she had shocked everyone at the University of Medicine.
She found Tristan with ease since she knew her way around. The latter was already clearing up the
things on the table when he saw her coming.
âHow did it go?â
âWhat do you think? Your girlfriend is, of course, amazing!â There is nothing I canât do in this world.
âYeah, I know my girlfriend is amazing.â After cleaning up the table, Tristan went over, wrapped his
arms around her waist tightly, and kissed her hard. âWhat reward do you want?â
âReward?â
This has nothing to do with him, yet Iâm getting a reward?
âOf course.â
âA kiss, then!â Sophie puckered her lips.
Tristan kissed her on the lips.
âIs that all?â Sheâs really easily satisfied, huh?
In the evening, they had dinner with the others at Blossom Garden to welcome Charlesâ return.
Charles had returned without Winter. He did not dare to take the liberty of bringing her back without
Tristanâs permission.
âSean, do you have any idea how hard my life was in Fandar?â Charles could not help but complain.
Charlesâ skin had indeed become a few shades darker.
âI know! But you asked for it!â Charles had insisted on going there back then.
Charles was rendered speechless. He instantly felt unloved as he thought they were being too mean.
âCharles, where is Winter? Is it really okay for you to leave her there alone?â Felix asked. No matter
what, Winter was still Charlesâ sister.
âWhy wouldnât it be? Bertram is still there. With him around, she dares not to do anything out of line.â
Besides, Winter was pretty shrewd in everything except for matters involving Tristan.
Hence, no one could bully her.
âBertram is still there? Mr. Tristan, are you not going to transfer him back?â Bertram is such a poor guy!
He didnât even do anything!
âWhat, do you want to accompany him? If you do, Iâll help you fulfill your wish!â Tristan shot Felix a cold
look.
Felix immediately shook his head before holding Ysabelleâs hand.
âNo. If I go to Fandar, whoâs going to look after Ysabelle? She canât live without me now! I canât bear to
leave her here alone!â
Ysabelle rolled her eyes at him.
Heâs ridiculous! I guess heâs become self-indulgent now, huh?
âItâs okay, Uncle Tristan. You donât have to worry about me. If he wants to go, just let him go! Iâm fine by
myself, but if not, I can always find another boyfriend.â
There were a lot of men in Jipsdale after all.
Felixâs expression changed in an instant.
âYsabelle, what do you mean by that? Are you dumping me? How could you do this to me? Youâre the
only one for me, but you want to abandon me. Donât you think youâre being too mean?â Felix acted like
he had been dumped.
The others were bereft of speech.
Tristan put on disposable gloves to remove the shells from the shellfish for Sophie, not wanting to talk
to Felix and Ysabelle anymore.
âFelix, do you see that? Peel some for me too,â Ysabelle said to Felix after seeing what Tristan was
doing for Sophie.
âSure! No problem. Iâll peel some for you.â However, Felix was not good at doing it.
Looking at the shrimps on her plate, Ysabelle shook her head.
âSeriously, what the heck did I see in you?â Ysabelle said with a melancholy expression on her face.
âYsabelle, what you say makes no sense! Donât you know that I have a lot of admirers?â
âThatâs enough. Can the four of you stop torturing us with all the PDA? Canât you see that Sean and I
are still single here?â Theyâre too much! Do we singles deserve to bear such torment?
âWell, Iâm not tortured by it.â Sean was not affected by it.
