Chapter 619
Changing only for her (Sophie and Tristan)
Sophie observed as the cleaner meticulously cleaned Tristanâs office and finished by thoroughly
disinfecting the entire space. Despite these efforts, Sophie still felt uncomfortable.
She considered this reaction of hers to be peculiar.
Felix happened to be at Lombard Group that day. Upon hearing about the events that took place in
Tristanâs office, he was immediately intrigued and rushed over to investigate.
âSophie, there you are! What have you been up to lately? Ysabelle has been complaining that you donât
have any time for her,â Felix said.
Ysabelle kept bringing up Sophieâs name so often that it was starting to get on his nerves.
âSophie is my girlfriend. Why would she need to spend time with Ysabelle?â Tristan retorted. Sheâs not
a young girl anymore. Why canât she spend her free time doing things she enjoys?
Felix replied helplessly, âI canât do anything about it either. You know how Ysabelle is. Sophie is more
important to her than I am.â
He never imagined that he would one day have a love rival, especially not one who was Tristanâs
girlfriend.
It was a really strange feeling.
Sophie agreed, âYes, we havenât met for some time.â They last met at the funeral. Sophie wasnât in a
good mood, so they didnât get to talk much.
âWhy donât you spend some time with her when you have the chance?â Felix suggested. âOtherwise,
sheâll just keep being down, and that wonât be good for either of us.â Felix knew that if Ysabelle wasnât
happy, it would impact him as well.
Sophie pointed out bluntly, âIf Iâm not around, youâll get to spend more time with her, right?â
A while ago, Felix wanted Ysabelle all for himself. Less than one month later, he changed his mind and
wanted Sophie to spend time with Ysabelle.
âBe honest with me. Did you get bored of Ysabelle already?â Sophie demanded.
Felix quickly shook his head. âSophie, you canât say that. Are you trying to kill me?â
He knew that if Ysabelle were to hear what Sophie had just said, he would be in big trouble. Felix
declared without hesitation, âI will only love Ysabelle for my entire life. The heavens and earth can bear
witness to my love for her!â
âSeriously?â Tristan shook his head in exasperation.
âI have strong survival instincts. You know how hard I had to work to win over Ysabelle. There have
been many obstacles in our way, so please donât put me in a difficult situation,â Felix stated.
Ysabelleâs popularity was growing at a rapid pace. Every time she posted a tweet on Twitter, a large
number of male admirers would inundate the comments section with replies.
Felix was upset at those male fans.
âBy the way, where is Princess Elyssa? Didnât she come to you?â
Tristan narrowed his eyes. âPrincess Elyssa? How do you know her? How did she come in?â
âI brought her here. Weâre planning a collaboration with the royal family of Yartran, right? She made the
journey here. Why canât I bring a guest here?â Felix asked with innocence, still unaware of his mistake.
âSophie, why are you giving me that look? Please stop, itâs making me nervous,â Felix said as he
backed away.
Did I do anything wrong?
âAre you in cahoots with Elyssa?â Sophie asked in a cold voice. She was willing to give him one final
opportunity as she wasnât an unreasonable person.
âWhat do you mean by Iâm in cahoots with her? Lombard Group is going to work together with the royal
family of Yartran, so I brought her here!â Felix protested.
âFelix, how good are you at fighting?â Instead of continuing the topic, Sophie suddenly asked a strange
question.
Felix was confused. Whatâs with the sudden question?
âI suppose Iâm not too shabby when it comes to fighting,â he answered modestly. Despite not being on
the same level as Tristan, he had honed his skills over the years from working for him.
âLetâs fight then!â Sophie declared.
âWhat? Sophie, are you joking? I donât fight with women!â Felix blurted out in shock. âBesides, if
Ysabelle finds out about this, sheâll get mad at me. She thinks youâre her idol!â
Sophie retorted, âIf you donât want her to find out, letâs fight. Donât worry. I wonât hold back!â
Felix nearly burst into tears. âMr. Tristan, what did I do wrong?â he asked.
Sophieâs Mr. Tristanâs girlfriend. I canât afford to offend either of them!
Ignoring Felixâs plea, Tristan strode over to Sophie. She was already packing up her stuff, so it was
obvious she was serious about the fight.
âCome, letâs go. This is not the appropriate place for you to fight.â
We need to fight somewhere appropriate.
Felix was speechless.
Didnât I say no? She ignored my refusal to fight with her!
Sophie led Tristan and Felix to a nearby wrestling gym. She changed into a suitable outfit and hopped
onto the wrestling ring.
As Sophie looked serious, Felix had to text Ysabelle for help: Come here now! If you come any later,
you might not get to see me for one last time.
He knew he was doomed, and it was a horrible feeling.
Ysabelle had just stepped out of the shower when she received Felixâs text. Recently, she was
preoccupied with her dance rehearsals as she was soon set to appear on a dance-themed reality TV
show.
Thus, TS Entertainment hired a dance teacher to improve her dancing skills. Upon receiving Felixâs text
message, she quickly grabbed her bag and set off toward Felixâs location in her car.
Ysabelle had only received her driving license last week.
Tristan couldnât help but shake his head when he saw Felix asking for Ysabelleâs help.
âFelix, you are pathetic,â he commented.
Felix was stumped for words.
âRemember what you say. If I ended up hurting her later, you are not allowed to settle scores with me,â
he warned.
Who am I doing this for? I canât believe Mr. Tristan is mocking me. How could he do that to me?
Tristan merely snickered icily. âYou must go all out!â
Felix was dumbfounded.
âDoes love fade away? Donât you love her anymore? I canât believe you want me to teach her a lesson.
Mr. Tristan, are you conscious right now? Do you know what youâve just said?â he asked warily.
Tristan ignored him.
He knew Felix wouldnât come to his senses until he was beaten to a pulp.
Sophie was getting impatient in the ring.
âHurry up, Felix. Stop wasting time!â she called out.
âSophie, are you sure you want to do this? No matter what, weâre friends, and there is no need for us to
engage in physical conflict,â Felix pleaded. He still had no idea what his mistake was. âCan you just tell
me what I did wrong so I can fix it? Thereâs no need for us to resort to violence, and it wonât be good if
either of us gets hurt.â
If word got out that he beat a woman up, his reputation and dignity would suffer irreparable damage.
âHey, stop wasting time. Just come up here, wonât you? Stop talking nonsense,â Sophie snapped
impatiently. âDonât you dare hold back, for Iâm not going to hold back, too.â
Felix was struck dumb. Sh*t!
