Chapter 50
The Millionaire And His Billionaire Ex-Wife
Chapter 50
Thinking of this, Nancy was worried. She quickly changed into dark clothes, put on a mask, went out, and took a taxi straight away.
Edgar came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, and couldnât forget the video of Grace.
He was a little annoyed. If he had known that he would be the one to get tired in the end, he would not have helped her.
Lying on the bed, Grace was still in his head, especially her starry eyes, which were clear and stubborn.
It⦠seemed familiar.
Edgar seemed to have thought of something. After hesitating for a while, he called Grace.
There were some things that he wanted to figure out.
She didnât answer.
He called again and it indicated that the person was not in the service area.
Why did she dislike him so much?
Edgar was inexplicably annoyed. He threw his phone aside casually and fell asleep.
Nancy took a taxi to an abandoned hut in the suburbs.
Molly was waiting for her outside the door.
When Nancy approached and saw the wounds on her face and body, she was shocked.
âWhatâs wrong with you? Why are you injured like this?â
Molly lowered her head. No emotion could be seen in her eyes. âOn the way here, we had a fight and there small car accident. I made a mistake again. Maybe I injected too much drug, sheâ¦â
âIâll have a look.â
Molly stopped her. âDid Miss Grammer know that you came alone tonight?â
Nancy instantly pulled a long face and was extremely unhappy.
e was a
Sarah usually relied on her status to boss people around. After Sarah returned to S City, even her subordinates wanted to step on her.
She and Sarah were just business partners, not subordinates. Why should she report everything to Sarah?
The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. She glared at Molly and said, âShe brought you here. Sheâs not in Frant City. So you have to listen to my orders, understand?â
Molly lowered her head even further. âUnderstood.â
âNow that youâve completed your mission, get lost.â
âYes.â
Molly replied, but she didnât move.
Outside the abandoned house, there was only a flickering gasoline lamp, and no one could see the expression on her blood-stained face.
Seeing that she was still standing there like a pillar, Nancy was very unhappy. âDonât understand human language?â âOkay.â Before leaving, Molly took out a mobile phone from her pocket and handed it to Nancy with both hands. âThis is that womanâs mobile phone. Someone just called her. I was afraid it would affect your plan, so I turned it to flight mode.
âGot it.â Nancy took it arrogantly.
After Molly left, she turned on Graceâs mobile phone and looked at the number that had called.
With just one glance, Nancy instantly burst into tears of hatred.
Although it was an unknown number, she clearly knew who it was.

âHow could Edgar call Grace at such a late time?â
She had been abroad for so long, he had never cared about her so much.
She wondered. âWhy?
She was his fiancee, and this woman was his mistress.
The more Nancy thought about it, the angrier she became. The anger and viciousness in her eyes were undisguised.
She raised her mobile phone angrily and wanted to smash it into pieces.
But she suddenly stopped halfway.
An excellent idea flashed through her mind.
She clicked on the home page of Grace and sent a text message to Edgar.
After doing all this, she threw her phone to the ground. As if she hadnât vented her anger, she kicked the screen a few more times with her high heels and didnât stop until the screen was completely torn apart.
She withdrew her gaze and looked at the abandoned hut again. Tonight, she would make sure that this bit ch would never be able to rise again!
Thinking of this, she reached out and pushed open the door of the small room. It was dark and there was no light at all.
She wondered. âWhat is going on? Didnât Molly even leave a light on?â
She took two suspicious steps inside, and the thick smell of dust in the room made her cough.
It was too dark to see anything.
Nancy suddenly felt flustered. She was about to turn around and get a lamp from Molly.
The door suddenly slammed shut with a bang.
Realizing that something was wrong, Nancy ran to the door and slammed it hard. âWho is it? Who is outside? Molly? Is it you? Open the door!â
It was silent outside the door.
It was so quiet that it made oneâs heart tremble.
Nancy took a deep breath and tried to calm down. She turned her head and shouted tentatively into the room, âGrace, are you here?â
It was deathly silent.
Realizing that she might be the only one in the room, Nancy was on the verge of collapse.
She wondered. âIs Graceâs trap?â
âBut Sarah is on my side. How could she help Grace hurt me?
âOr are they together?
âImpossible⦠this is impossibleâ¦â
Her mind was in a mess. She covered her head with both hands and squatted on the ground in fear, trembling all
over.
The endless darkness brought her fear and despair.
Then she heard footsteps outside the room.
Nancy instantly felt hopeful. She got up and banged on the door. âWhoâs outside? Let me out! Open the door!â
The door opened.
A tall figure walked in against the light, followed by the second, the thirdâ¦
They were the men she had called to teach Grace a lesson.
Nancy was about to run out of the bright door, but was firmly stopped by the strong man in the lead.
âNo. Itâs not me! Iâm not Grace. Ah!â

âSmack!â
The only response she received was a heavy slap.
She was thrown to the ground. Half of her face was swollen, and two of her teeth were loose.
It hurt so much!
Nancy lay prone on the ground and spat blood on the spot. She insisted on explaining, âItâs not me! Itâs really not me! I asked you to come. How can you do this to me⦠Ah!â
Before she could finish her words, her hair was grabbed by the man from behind. The force was so strong that her scalp was almost torn off. She was in so much pain that she burst into tears and screamed.
âReally⦠no⦠Iâ¦â
The man slapped her twice again and laughed. Tâve seen people begging for mercy, but Iâve never seen someone as pretentious as you. Iâll torture you to death tonight!â
The door was completely closed and locked, and dozens of men surrounded her.
After a while, the sound of a painful beating came from the room, as well as the screams of Nancy, which were extremely painful.
Grace leaned against a tree in the distance, and Molly stood quietly.
She looked up at the stars in the sky.
The starry sky was so beautiful today.
Unfortunately, the heart-wrenching howls ruined the mood.
Seeing that the show was almost over, Grace was ready to go back home and let Nancy enjoy the extremely torture set prepared by herself.
âMr. Fallen, itâs over there!â
Suddenly. Timâs voice came from the path, followed by the sound of running.
Seeing that the voice was getting closer and closer, Grace quickly hid.
She observed the movements in front of the house from behind the tree and saw that the person who had rushed over was Edgar.
