Part Eight
Their Fae | B X B X B
Ferris
Two hours later and finally the meeting ended. We didn't move much but the binder was still hurting my chest and I was desperate to get rid of it.
Merilia addressed the end of the meeting and I had Cosmo help me up. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked again and I nodded. I just needed to get to the car and take it off. Cosmo was about the same size as me, short and lean and probably one of my only friends.
Zae trudged up and pushed Cosmo off me with a menacing look before replacing Cosmo's position with helping me. I looked back at the Mer who shrugged before wriggling his eyebrows. What?
"Cosmo was helping, Zae." I grumbled and he answered with a huff. I didn't mind that much I just found it weird. Either way I was getting to the car and when we hopped in I instantly started to unbutton my shirt and unclasp my binder. I felt the relief of not being trapped by that unholy garment the minute I managed to snap open the damn thing.
I noticed red lined circling my torso which just contributed to why those things are death-traps.
The car was silent, apart from Fraener's grumbling and Zaelyn's heavy breathing. I didn't want to talk to Fraener as he was the one who saw to it I put it on and my only 'friend' was Zaelyn. We started moving but we weren't on the same route we were originally on. "Where are we going?" I asked while patting my sides earning a sting of pain.
"Some fun human attraction. A water park I'm pretty sure?" He both answered and questioned. The driver firmly nodded still keeping his eyes on the road. Great, just what I needed. "But I didn't pack any clothes?" I mumbled. Zaelyn just smiled while petting my head. "We packed for you." Fraener spoke.
"Thank you, Zae," I managed to make out also excluding Fraener. Who the hell gave them permission to enter my room? Without me present nonetheless!
We drove past generic looking houses, flying past trees that became a blur of green before arriving at the entrance to the park. "It's absolutely crowded with hotties!" Zaelyn gasped out of nowhere. Can someone in a relationship even say something like that, while their partner is sitting right next to them? Maybe they had an open relationship which, knowing Zaelyn wasn't too surprising given at how 'eccentric' he is.
Why was I questioning something like this? It really wasn't any of my buisness.
We piled out all of us with a bag. We had about five guards just roaming the place and about fifteen more surrounding the park. We skipped pass the line and straight into the heart of the attraction where we were greeted with a map of all the rides. "The 'Monsoon' looks fun." Fraener acknowledged his eyes still scanning the board. I noticed Zaelyn staring at a group of three, one was dressed up as a Pirate, the other a Merman and the smallest was what appeared to be a Siren. Do humans enjoy dressing up as supernaturals?
He was particularly interested in the Pirate. I really don't know why I was so interested in what he was doing. Fraener didn't mind, so why should I?
"I'm going to get changed. You coming, Ferris?" The Incubus urged wrapping his arm around my waist. Before I could protest we were already at the entrance of the changing rooms. It reeked of piss and sweat and the floors were covered in murky brown water. It was hot and stuffy and just overall bad. I started considering changing behind a tree.
To make matters worse, there was only one stall. "Come on!" he snipped pulling me towards the stall. I slipped out of his grasp and stared at him with shock. "There's no way in hell I'm going in there with you!" I spoke up noticing two guards place themselves within the room. "You'd rather wait and stay longer in these filthy changing rooms?"
He had a point. I didn't want to stay in these changing rooms longer than I had to. I wanted to say 'no looking' but that would be disrespectful. I walked into the stall almost running back out when I felt the cold murky water that was somehow dirtier than the rest of the room. I turned away from him before slipping off my shirt. This is embarrassing.
Changing myself into clothes shouldn't be taking this long. I felt like everything had been slowed to a snail's pace as I tugged off my shorts and quickly fumbled for my others which were once on the hook but now they weren't there. I looked on the floor and to my relief they weren't floating in the filth. The only other way they could've moved is if Zaelyn moved them.
"Z-Zae?" I mumbled. What reason did he have to move my clothes? "Yes?" He answered almost in a playful tone. "Do you happen to have my clothes?"
My embarrassment was evident. Two future kings shouldn't be sharing a changing stall.
"Maybe?" He hummed a smile definitely in his voice. "Could I have them back please?" My voice strained to keep myself from lashing out at him. Why couldn't I just have one normal encounter with this dude?!
"You'll have to turn around," the bastard mused. So this was all just so he could see my body? He was starting to get on my nerves. Now all I wanted to do now was get away from him. I whipped around, almost smashing my face in his chest. His, gorgeous, chiseled abs.
He scanned me up and down making me feel small and sheepish. He handed me my clothes but not before he gripped my wrist. "You smell nice." He whispered almost in a growl before letting go and leaving.
Why do they act so weird? What's up with them? I can only handle it for so long.
I changed into my new bathers before heading back to Fraener who was sitting down on a bench with Zaelyn. I just wanted to cool off.
"I'm going to the pool," I told them in which they both responded by sitting up from their seats.
"I'll go get changed and meet you there,"
"I could use a swim first!"
I wanted to scream at them both but that was impolite. I just wanted to be alone.
I walked beside Zaelyn who seemed to notice all the humans gawking at us. Have they never seen a Fae and an Incubus? It's not like we were trying to hide ourselves.
I stepped down the stairs and into the cold soothing water packed with people. The pool was absolutely huge and as it was in the centre I could see all the rides. All of them gave me slight anxiety. Zae had to be extra and jumped into the pool which caused the lifeguards on duty to yell at him. The guards got in fighting stances and that was our cue to leave.
"I can't believe you got told off!" I squealed hopping up and down in both amusement and the fact that the ground was burning. For a moment I forgot how weird this Incubus was. "I wasn't told off, I was yelled at," he grumbled. Of course his fat ego was hurt.
I sighed. The pool wasn't an option anymore as our guards would probably attack and we couldn't afford that.
"Fraener was talking about the Monsoon. Maybe we could go there?"
He was pointing to a gigantic slide that looped, twisted and turned. The sight alone gave me the shivers. "What about Fraener?" I measly excused. I could give less about him right now but I didn't want to go onto the deathtrap. "He doesn't always have to know where we are all the time, y'know." He said before pulling me along once again.
The ground was hot as ever and the line to the attraction was so long! Thankfully there was this soothing mist that clung to the hairs of my body. They gave us a tube shaped in an eight and told us to get in. "I'll go in the front, okay?" He spoke as if I was a child. I nodded before hopping in. He gripped my ankles which I was thankful for as I was scared I'd fly off.
They nudged us forward making my stomach drop, before everything became a blur of blue and it felt like we were spinning out of control. We turned all sorts of directions and slide down steep declines all the while Zaelyn was cheering and laughing. I felt absolutely sick.
Once we crashed into the pool below and got off Zaelyn cheered once more, resting his arm on my shoulder. "That was amazing!" He gasped, adding a sweet laugh. My head felt hot and my stomach was churning. "It was horrible, I feel sick." I muttered.
As if feeling sick wasn't enough, I felt something warm drip onto my lip and drop onto the floor. I looked down and that's when a gush of blood came out. "Shit!"
I held my head up and pinched the bridge of my nose. Zaelyn started to panic, sitting me down in the shade, running off and coming back with a few tissues. I placed it to my nose and waited for the blood to stop. "S-Sorry.." I mumbled, wiping the blood onto the grass. "I'm probably no fun."
He scoffed while sitting down next to me. "Your screams were hilarious!" The Incubus exclaimed. My face became hotter and my cheeks heatened. "I've never really had friends so I'm new to all this,"
He raised an eyebrow. Of course he wanted to know more. "My father said friends were a waste of time, he'd say 'make alliances not companions. It only ends up in pain." I recalled. "Cosmo was probably the closest I ever had to a 'friend'."
He still stayed silent. I pulled the tissue away from my nose and luckily there was no more blood. "It's not like anyone ever tried to approach me. You guys never did. I just assumed no-one liked me," I summarised checking the bloodied tissue. "You're a wonderful person, Ferris. I was just stupid." Zaelyn huffed before gripping my chin and jerking my face so I was facing him. I stared at him wide-eyed, almost expectantly.
"You're just too hard to resist." He muttered before landing in and connecting our lips. It was passionate and almost desperate as it felt like he was devouring me. I felt myself being drained of energy as his tongue mapped out every inch of my mouth.
I felt divided. This felt so good but so, so bad. He had someone, Fraener, a Dragon! So what did that make me? A whore? Who was in the wrong?
There was too many questions and the kiss was making my brain go fuzzy. After we parted I instantly got up, sharing one last glance before leaving. I heard him call out my name but I didn't respond. I felt even more sick and a wave of stomach aches followed suit.
This just got a whole lot worse.
